I had a really weird, fractured dream last night. I 'saw' a faceless, black figure, his skin appeared like a kind of "rubber skin suit". I felt his ominous threat. He was looking at me, and it wasn't kindly! From within me I said, "no one is welcome here except God." And my goodness! My dream scrambled and fractured in chaos! Like he was so angry! And he dissappeared. Alarming because my dreams are never usually like this! 😮 But I'm so glad that from somewhere in the depths of my soul, I knew to call in God. I didn't fear or panic, I JUST called in God. To anyone reading this, in these weird strange times, when darkness may invade you in reality, or in your dreams, or from your screens, or in your thoughts... CALL HIM IN.*To defend against evil, that's all you've got to do!* We can all fight this darkness. I wish everyone well. ❤
I had a similar thing a few weeks ago in my sleep this black figure started trying to roll me over to get at my back for some reason, in my sleep I was trying to wake my husband for help I reached up and touched this beings face which had no features and which felt like cold rubber and as this happened of rush of love seemed to come through me and hit him and he dissapeared. This is remarkable, simple yet unique in its truth. I've lived this before and have an intuitive feeling that it makes sense. I have dealt with psychosis and being incredibly vulnerable to influence the last 8 months due to health issues. I was even falsely diagnosed with schizophrenia and was so vulnerable I believed it to be true for a short while. When I work with my hands and keep my body moving I feel much better. I now also do yoga more often and it feels like my body is purifying itself of toxins, stretching out all emotions and aches and sensations, really getting me out of the head and whatever is continuing my suffering. This video also pairs really well with Eckhart Tolle's work, where he talks about the pain body as a body of energy that keeps you in pain, suffering and struggling, like a shadow that captures you and takes you away from peace and joy. He says the way through this is to become very present with it and feel through it. I believe this meditative practice is easier to do if you are physically active throughout the day, doing the work as you say.

That is so TRUE about spiritual protection. I have a great connection to the heavenly realms, and the Holy Spirit surrounds me in a powerful way. It's so powerful that not many people want to be around me. It's been a bit weird, but they end up exposing their own evil intentions themselves. They just start "confessing" to me when I don't even ask them to do it. I love the message about seeking truth. Even though we will probably never understand truth fully, the more we seek it and desire it, and the more perspectives we evaluate, the closer we will get to truth. And of course, that brings us closer to God.

Haller’s “Swedenborg’s Principles of Usefulness.” One of early Swedenborg passages in the book “Love and wisdom are nothing but abstract notions to think about, notions that pause in the mind for a little while and then vanish like a breeze. The two come together in service, though, and in service become virtually one entity, something we can call real. Love cannot rest until it does something. Love is the essential active element of life. Wisdom cannot emerge and last either, except when it is doing something out of and together with love. “Doing something” is service; so we define service as doing something good out of love by means of wisdom. Great video. I am being flexible with my workouts and swapping some of them out for useful work. I cleared moss and dirt from the pavement (sidewalk) outside my house and that of my neighbour. It looks much better and I felt joyful on top of the usual workout good feelings. I really dislike gardening but have given myself a task of smartening up my environment under the guise of working out, so this video is perfectly timed 🙏🏻

For me, as a Hermetic Magician (think the magician in the tarot card), the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram has been immensely helpful in vanishing both evil energy and sentient evil spirits that have come to attack or harass me (especially after I decline their offers). I would highly recommend that anyone involved with mysticism learn it, as it has never failed me. Sometimes stronger evil spirits have been able to delay my casting of it by making the image of the pentagram vanish from my mind so that it is hard to draw them in the air though. I am also friends with, and have as my companion spirit and guardian spirit a good aligned air elemental/ Fox spirit (an elemental that usually appears as a magical blue Fox, although sometimes as just formless aether) that has protected me as well. Finally calling on the Archangel Michael for help is also powerful and he can either “in person” or at a distance in the form of answering a prayer help you and banish or destroy the supernatural evil, as that is one of his main functions.
I retired early at 57 with a disability, fixing to be 63. My journey started at 59. Started being attacked by something I can't see on a nightly basis, parasite taking energy I believe. Seems to me God allows it, Carmen, but it's not a universal experience. Swedenborg (whose writings and spiritual experiences we share on this channel) warns against SEEKING contact with spirits, because it's usually the "bad" ones who want to get involved. I was wondering how I could tell if a thought that was a call to action might be considered from God or not. I had been praying about it for days, when I felt the answer come: it is easy to tell if the call to action was based in fear, it is not from God because God never motivates people with fear, only with love. I John 4:18. I felt that was a protection from evil.
Would fanatical spirits be a problem if your primary focus was on nothing more than loving God, and loving the neighbor? I'd tend to think that if the nature of our own focus was on those concepts alone and not more tangential religious beliefs people often debate over, then harmful spirits would not only not be drawn to you, but maybe even be repelled. I think my confusion comes from my personal view that loving God and the neighbor is more of a state of being than a religious idea, and that state is generally achieved through religious ideas. But I don't know, so I'd love it if you could clarify.
Hi Tim -- Yes, we too see loving God and neighbor as a way of life, or state of being, as you say. In fact, our definition (based on Swedenborg's definition) is that religion IS just about how we live our life, and a religious life means doing good. Keeping that focus would indeed tend to keep us out of the realm of "evil spirits," but Swedenborg also learned that evil spirits love to attack what we are most devoted and committed to. So I'm not sure we can completely evade hellish attacks, but we can try to stay out of the neighborhood!
Does Swedenborg differentiate between thoughts that are solely ours and those from spirits? My question has to do with moments when people are thinking of hypothetical situations that cause them to feel anger. Like if you’re irritated at someone or something and then you are ruminating about situations that never happened or likely to never happen but we’re getting real emotional reactions from these thoughts. Here is a passage from Divine Providence 320 that clarifies it. " If we believed that--as is truly the case--everything good and true comes from the Lord and everything evil and false comes from hell, then we would not claim the goodness as our own and make it self-serving or claim the evil as our own and make ourselves guilty of it." Well, Amara, I guess it all depends on WHY someone doesn't believe in God, and what their inner motives are in the way they live their life. We can't really "judge a book by its cover," and only God knows what's going on inside the person's heart. God is Love and Mercy, and creates us all for heaven if we want to live a heaven-aligned life.
I wonder; how can over 1400 people view this but only 400 hit like? Does the views count people who just just have it appear on their screen when they are looking for something else? Or do they hear the words and not find wisdom ? It be said, the gate is gate wide, but only a few enter….(paraphrased).
Depends on experience. On the board is you in the middle along with everyone else. I was shown that it is like holding your armz out to recieve. Some information is good from one side and some evil. You are a reciever of information. You are a collection of thought that you file away in your memory. You then look outside to see if the information you hold is correct or false. So your thought creates what you see and then you look outside to see if the thought you have is true, which you created. Catch 22. This creates confusion. God whispers delecately in your ear while self knowledge shouts at you like a bully. God says let me correct your misperceptions so that you allow heaven in. This is why the 10 commandments say love God and do not do anything else. Taking your mind off the world stops you creating it. If you live in a war zone the program does not help much. Others have dictated the world you live in. You literally live their thought. See what swedenborg says about Pharoah and the Hebrew slaves. God pulls the people out of slavery of memory knowledge. A good example is the interview with Dr. Phil with son of a Hamas leader and Palestinian supporters who have not been to Palistine.

We all must be careful about certainty, but I do believe the Lord speaks quietly and directly to our spirit. My comment was more of an observation. Going to have to disagree your consciousness cannot exist without your brain that's like a computer working without a CPU just doesn't work. Your brain and your nervous system is what makes consciousness function.

Sounds good except for one thing.. we don't live in a perfect world.. in fact we live in a world full of hate, crime, violence, child predators, narcissism, geopolitical unrest and hugely inflated egos, so say the least. Love, like respect is earned not just given away because some book tells us that the boss demands it. The way I think of it, is this. What if none of the bad people that you list - the rapists and murders, etc, WANT to be bad. Not really. What if they are under the influence of evil and traumatised themselves and they don't possess the strength or the techniques to fend off the voice in their head, and it works through them, not because they are "bad"... but because they are victims and they can't stop themselves from hurting others in the same way that they're hurting inside. We all find ourselves here, seperated from the light and love of home. We are ALL lost and afraid and seperate. It may just be that they are MORE lost and afraid and seperate that the rest of us, and they are weak! I'm not saying that we have to invite bad people around for dinner. No. You need to keep yourself safe and not let them do bad things to you. But you can pray for them to find the light. Pray for them to be guided back to it, to open to it... See them as desperately in need of love and really lost souls, far from the light. If you can start to wish something better for them (love) for their SOUL, rather than hating them for their actions, this ultimately benefits your soul and theirs too. It's a mental technique. Do not put yourself in physical danger! But it does change how you view people. I now see people who do bad things, not as bad people, but as really lost souls... and it had helped me view them much more compassionately. I can't imagine how far from the light they must be, and how that must feel! I begin to feel sorry for them as lost souls. And that makes me pray even more for them to find the light. I don't know if my perspective helps you to find a way to forgive them, it has certainly helped me to reach a point of understanding the whole, "turn the other cheek, and love your enemy" idea, because like you, before I struggled with it. ❤
It seen in a different in heaven. All thought here is seperated due to the fall. Before the fall, all thought was collective. Like the thoughts in your mind. You mostly dont worry about what you think because you feel comfortable within yourself. You manage your thought and throw away ugly thoughts. Adam was a play ground of thought that experienced God's loving truths. Thought was something imagined and then discatded to recieve new ideas. Here, these thoughts took on a reality. Life became real and the whole mind faught itself. The soul visits this mind and lives its life. God desires to alter the thought and retrieve it. Therefore the soul is the collective thought energy of God. We are all connected as brothers. Our time here can alter the world. When the body dies the soul disconnects and sees the truth. The soul needs to give up its conditioned memory. The souls purpose on Earth ended and now the seperated self knowledge is used to see God and give a conversation between what you see God as at your level of awareness along with every other soul. We think life is about us as undividuals. It was always about God and his creation looking back at God from the most basic awareness to grow upto God like a child. Creation was the framework inwhich this thought could happen.
We all do bad, we all do good. Jesus never asked us to love Him first before He died for us all. Out of love, He forgave us all despite not deserving it. Jesus said, when you lose yourself, you find yourself. To find yourself means to have found that kind of love that Jesus has.
The principle of "loving the neighbor" is not actually talking about a feeling. To love others means to support what is good in them, and to not enable what is harmful and destructive. Hating people just stirs up a lot of dark energy that causes more harm. As Martin Luther King said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." But it can be an act of love to STOP someone from committing crimes, and to hold them accountable for those actions. It was a humbling experience to see how much they care, and belong to a community. And their streets are so immaculate! I also wanted to start doing it after I saw it. Well, God doesn't destroy people, Kaiwaka. And it's about spiritual freedom. Our spiritual freedom -- the freedom to choose good or evil, truth or lies, etc -- is God's highest priority, according to Swedenborg's writings. So there needs to be a balance of goodness flowing into us from heaven and "evil" flowing into us from hell. Then we're in equilibrium between them and can choose "which wolf to feed," as they say. It's a thought -- take it or leave it.

I had a similar thing a few weeks ago in my sleep this black figure started trying to roll me over to get at my back for some reason, in my sleep I was trying to wake my husband for help I reached up and touched this beings face which had no features and which felt like cold rubber and as this happened of rush of love seemed to come through me and hit him and he dissapeared. Hard to explain.

This is remarkable, simple yet unique in its truth. I've lived this before and have an intuitive feeling that it makes sense. I have dealt with psychosis and being incredibly vulnerable to influence the last 8 months due to health issues. I was even falsely diagnosed with schizophrenia and was so vulnerable I believed it to be true for a short while. When I work with my hands and keep my body moving I feel much better. I now also do yoga more often and it feels like my body is purifying itself of toxins, stretching out all emotions and aches and sensations, really getting me out of the head and whatever is continuing my suffering. This video also pairs really well with Eckhart Tolle's work, where he talks about the pain body as a body of energy that keeps you in pain, suffering and struggling, like a shadow that captures you and takes you away from peace and joy. He says the way through this is to become very present with it and feel through it. I believe this meditative practice is easier to do if you are physically active throughout the day, doing the work as you say.

That is so TRUE about spiritual protection. I have a great connection to the heavenly realms, and the Holy Spirit surrounds me in a powerful way. It's so powerful that not many people want to be around me. It's been a bit weird, but they end up exposing their own evil intentions themselves. They just start "confessing" to me when I don't even ask them to do it. I love the message about seeking truth. Even though we will probably never understand truth fully, the more we seek it and desire it, and the more perspectives we evaluate, the closer we will get to truth. And of course, that brings us closer to God.

Haller’s “Swedenborg’s Principles of Usefulness.” One of early Swedenborg passages in the book “Love and wisdom are nothing but abstract notions to think about, notions that pause in the mind for a little while and then vanish like a breeze. The two come together in service, though, and in service become virtually one entity, something we can call real. Love cannot rest until it does something. Love is the essential active element of life. Wisdom cannot emerge and last either, except when it is doing something out of and together with love. “Doing something” is service; so we define service as doing something good out of love by means of wisdom. The service is that “something good” itself. “(Swedenborg, Marriage Love §183:3) Very interesting book. Wonderful video. 😊

Great video. I am being flexible with my workouts and swapping some of them out for useful work. I cleared moss and dirt from the pavement (sidewalk) outside my house and that of my neighbour. It looks much better and I felt joyful on top of the usual workout good feelings. I really dislike gardening but have given myself a task of smartening up my environment under the guise of working out, so this video is perfectly timed 🙏🏻

For me, as a Hermetic Magician (think the magician in the tarot card), the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram has been immensely helpful in vanishing both evil energy and sentient evil spirits that have come to attack or harass me (especially after I decline their offers). I would highly recommend that anyone involved with mysticism learn it, as it has never failed me. Sometimes stronger evil spirits have been able to delay my casting of it by making the image of the pentagram vanish from my mind so that it is hard to draw them in the air though.
I am also friends with, and have as my companion spirit and guardian spirit a good aligned air elemental/ Fox spirit (an elemental that usually appears as a magical blue Fox, although sometimes as just formless aether) that has protected me as well. Finally calling on the Archangel Michael for help is also powerful and he can either “in person” or at a distance in the form of answering a prayer help you and banish or destroy the supernatural evil, as that is one of his main functions.

Seems to me God allows it, Carmen, but it's not a universal experience. Swedenborg (whose writings and spiritual experiences we share on this channel) warns against SEEKING contact with spirits, because it's usually the "bad" ones who want to get involved. But some people do seem to be GIFTED with messages or communications with their loved ones.

I had been praying about it for days, when I felt the answer come: it is easy to tell if the call to action was based in fear, it is not from God because God never motivates people with fear, only with love. I John 4:18. I felt that was a protection from evil.

Would fanatical spirits be a problem if your primary focus was on nothing more than loving God, and loving the neighbor? I'd tend to think that if the nature of our own focus was on those concepts alone and not more tangential religious beliefs people often debate over, then harmful spirits would not only not be drawn to you, but maybe even be repelled. I think my confusion comes from my personal view that loving God and the neighbor is more of a state of being than a religious idea, and that state is generally achieved through religious ideas. But I don't know, so I'd love it if you could clarify.
Hi Tim -- Yes, we too see loving God and neighbor as a way of life, or state of being, as you say. In fact, our definition (based on Swedenborg's definition) is that religion IS just about how we live our life, and a religious life means doing good.
Keeping that focus would indeed tend to keep us out of the realm of "evil spirits," but Swedenborg also learned that evil spirits love to attack what we are most devoted and committed to. So I'm not sure we can completely evade hellish attacks, but we can try to stay out of the neighborhood!
Does Swedenborg differentiate between thoughts that are solely ours and those from spirits? My question has to do with moments when people are thinking of hypothetical situations that cause them to feel anger. Like if you’re irritated at someone or something and then you are ruminating about situations that never happened or likely to never happen but we’re getting real emotional reactions from these thoughts. It’s almost like these scenarios are presented to you in order to get you angry. Are these moments the work of spirits? Mahalo for your insights on this OTLE team!
Here is a passage from Divine Providence 320 that clarifies it.
" If we believed that--as is truly the case--everything good and true comes from the Lord and everything evil and false comes from hell, then we would not claim the goodness as our own and make it self-serving or claim the evil as our own and make ourselves guilty of it."

What happens to someone who does not believe in God and has led a mostly selfish life?
Well, Amara, I guess it all depends on WHY someone doesn't believe in God, and what their inner motives are in the way they live their life. We can't really "judge a book by its cover," and only God knows what's going on inside the person's heart. God is Love and Mercy, and creates us all for heaven if we want to live a heaven-aligned life.
I wonder; how can over 1400 people view this but only 400 hit like? Does the views count people who just just have it appear on their screen when they are looking for something else? Or do they hear the words and not find wisdom ?
It be said, the gate is gate wide, but only a few enter….(paraphrased).
Depends on experience.
On the board is you in the middle along with everyone else. I was shown that it is like holding your armz out to recieve. Some information is good from one side and some evil. You are a reciever of information. You are a collection of thought that you file away in your memory.
You then look outside to see if the information you hold is correct or false.
So your thought creates what you see and then you look outside to see if the thought you have is true, which you created. Catch 22.
This creates confusion.
God whispers delecately in your ear while self knowledge shouts at you like a bully.
God says let me correct your misperceptions so that you allow heaven in.
This is why the 10 commandments say love God and do not do anything else.
Taking your mind off the world stops you creating it.
If you live in a war zone the program does not help much.
Others have dictated the world you live in. You literally live their thought.

God pulls the people out of slavery of memory knowledge.

Trillions of souls, Keith! At least that's what Swedenborg was shown. The afterlife isn't dependent on space like this world is, so there's "room" for everyone, and Swedenborg says it's the variety of souls that creates the perfection of heaven.

Going to have to disagree your consciousness cannot exist without your brain that's like a computer working without a CPU just doesn't work. Your brain and your nervous system is what makes consciousness function.
That's one theory, 1MNUTZ. Some people think there's a world of causes higher than this physical world.

Love, like respect is earned not just given away because some book tells us that the boss demands it. I don't think our creator is that naive or stupid.. seriously.. tell me how I am to love the man that raped and murdered my mother.. no! That didn't happen to me but it has happened, multiple times through out history.. So tell me, how do you love that! You don't.. you hate them, and that is a human response! If we are to get to the stage where this type of sh*t is not to affect or emotions then i suppose the creator is looking for robots not humans! Down with loving thy neighbour, unless they've earned it. What say you?
The way I think of it, is this. What if none of the bad people that you list - the rapists and murders, etc, WANT to be bad. Not really. What if they are under the influence of evil and traumatised themselves and they don't possess the strength or the techniques to fend off the voice in their head, and it works through them, not because they are "bad"... but because they are victims and they can't stop themselves from hurting others in the same way that they're hurting inside. We all find ourselves here, seperated from the light and love of home. We are ALL lost and afraid and seperate. It may just be that they are MORE lost and afraid and seperate that the rest of us, and they are weak! I'm not saying that we have to invite bad people around for dinner. No. You need to keep yourself safe and not let them do bad things to you. But you can pray for them to find the light. Pray for them to be guided back to it, to open to it... See them as desperately in need of love and really lost souls, far from the light. If you can start to wish something better for them (love) for their SOUL, rather than hating them for their actions, this ultimately benefits your soul and theirs too. It's a mental technique. Do not put yourself in physical danger! But it does change how you view people. I now see people who do bad things, not as bad people, but as really lost souls... and it had helped me view them much more compassionately. I can't imagine how far from the light they must be, and how that must feel! I begin to feel sorry for them as lost souls. And that makes me pray even more for them to find the light. I don't know if my perspective helps you to find a way to forgive them, it has certainly helped me to reach a point of understanding the whole, "turn the other cheek, and love your enemy" idea, because like you, before I struggled with it. ❤

All thought here is seperated due to the fall.
Before the fall, all thought was collective. Like the thoughts in your mind. You mostly dont worry about what you think because you feel comfortable within yourself. You manage your thought and throw away ugly thoughts.
Adam was a play ground of thought that experienced God's loving truths.
Thought was something imagined and then discatded to recieve new ideas.
Here, these thoughts took on a reality. Life became real and the whole mind faught itself.
The soul visits this mind and lives its life. God desires to alter the thought and retrieve it.
Therefore the soul is the collective thought energy of God.
We are all connected as brothers.
Our time here can alter the world. When the body dies the soul disconnects and sees the truth.
The soul needs to give up its conditioned memory.
The souls purpose on Earth ended and now the seperated self knowledge is used to see God and give a conversation between what you see God as at your level of awareness along with every other soul.
We think life is about us as undividuals.
It was always about God and his creation looking back at God from the most basic awareness to grow upto God like a child.
Creation was the framework inwhich this thought could happen.
We all do bad, we all do good. Jesus never asked us to love Him first before He died for us all. Out of love, He forgave us all despite not deserving it. Jesus said, when you lose yourself, you find yourself. To find yourself means to have found that kind of love that Jesus has.

The principle of "loving the neighbor" is not actually talking about a feeling. To love others means to support what is good in them, and to not enable what is harmful and destructive. Hating people just stirs up a lot of dark energy that causes more harm. As Martin Luther King said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
But it can be an act of love to STOP someone from committing crimes, and to hold them accountable for those actions. We have a couple videos on that topic:

One man's garbage, is another man's treasure Jack 😆 I've watched people in Japan go out of their way to pick up small random pieces of rubbish left in the street. It was a humbling experience to see how much they care, and belong to a community. And their streets are so immaculate! I also wanted to start doing it after I saw it. I felt like... if only we ALL embraced that one habit. How different the world would be. There's a lot of lessons to be learnt from mere "rubbish". 🥰

Well, God doesn't destroy people, Kaiwaka. And it's about spiritual freedom. Our spiritual freedom -- the freedom to choose good or evil, truth or lies, etc -- is God's highest priority, according to Swedenborg's writings. So there needs to be a balance of goodness flowing into us from heaven and "evil" flowing into us from hell. Then we're in equilibrium between them and can choose "which wolf to feed," as they say. It's a thought -- take it or leave it.
