Well, it's really 2 basses, one on Channel 1 and on Channel 3.

Yes, but still it's got those low notes that create a bass that lifts the song in the air more than Channel 3's bass. Not only that, but the DAC's timpani also trumps the Channel 3 bass in some parts.
Side note, more like a tuba or trombone, not really a trumpet.

they use foobar2000. they have a channel called tutorials and stuff where they explain it.

Just a tiny suggestion, but, is undertale and option?
Well, undertales songs are all mp3 files, which can’t be separated into various layers/channels like here. Unless Toby Fox released the MIDI files and sound samples he used, there’s no way to do an oscilloscope deconstruction of Undertale songs.

The only song from Sonic 2 that I blatantly dislike. The instrumentation is way off for me and the melody is not particularly special. Besides I hate the level design as well.
