      Daaaang I wish! I have to get some wedding planning done these next two weeks, getting married October 15th! I think my fiancé and I are planning on tent camping at the Loop in October or early November if weather is nice. I haven’t been yet and want to meet some people there and get some banger footage!

      @@SchmidtysOffroad congrats on the wedding man. Hopefully I can meet you out at a trail sometime.

      @@josephrattles8330 we will make it happen, I haven’t been able to ride much besides our Colorado trip this year. I’m hoping things start to slow down so I can get out and ride with y’all more! I’m also switching jobs in the next 2 weeks, been running around like chicken with my head cut off but it’ll all settle down soon.

      This Saturday is my first trip besides a hard break in a bolivar speedway. I live in sw mo so the loop, loto, smor and things will prolly be my regulars. Then of course trips to taylor park in Colorado already planned for next year and moab year after. New in the game for sure and got a pro xp from watching your videos man.

    Looking good man, cages change the whole look and make these things sharper than you could think is possible.

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! It does change the look big time and the added safety is a bonus. Now I’m just ready to go long travel and it’ll basically be complete but that’s a ways down the road yet.

      @@SchmidtysOffroad I'd love to do along travel kit, but these east coast trails can get tight and 70" is just about perfect.

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 года назад

      @@helmssxs8301 oh yeah that would be a tight fit. How are you at 70”? Just with different offset wheels I’m guessing?

    • @helmssxs8301
      @helmssxs8301 2 года назад +1

      @@SchmidtysOffroad yeah went with a wider offset when I went to 32’s

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 года назад +1

      Heck yeah, I would like to go with either a 32 or a 33 but I’ll probably get a clutch kit with it. I slipped the belt pretty bad in Colorado this past week. Sadly got shown up by my dad in his KRX lol

    What a great concept. Good looking cage as well!

      I love the look of the cage. It makes it feel like a whole new machine! And it’s nice being able to use my stock windshield!

    Do you know if the dash will still come out without unbolting and raising the front of the cage?

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  Год назад

      Sadly it won’t. You have the option of using the dash bar or not, I went ahead and used it because I wasn’t to rave eventually and wanted the extra strength but honestly it’s probably not needed for the average rider.

  • @jpiccirilli

    how much lower is this cage then the stock cage?

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  Год назад

      It’s a 5” drop in the back. If you have stock seats and measure up from the top of the seat to the cage it should be roughly 14” and with this cage it’s about 9”. There is still plenty of head room for me to have a helmet on. I’m 6’ for reference.
