This is one incredible drive. I've always wanted to see Africa. Thanks so much for sharing. I love the 1/2 tunnels and the store called Pakalolo. Incredible, beautiful country. I didn't realize Africa was on such a huge scale and so pretty. I love this video. Please do more like this.
I always wanted to know what heaven look like I feel this is heaven on earth ,,my country is so boring and nothing compare to this beautiful paradise the sky the mountains the oceans god I’m praying so hard to visit in Jesus name amen
Hey, you're Indian, so am I, but where are you from? SA is a terrible place to visit. There are millions of criminals waiting to rob and murder you. The biggest mistake the British made was to move us from India and bring us to this shit hole. By the way I'm also a Ramnarain.
I'm from Durban (KZN) and this is the first time I have ever seen Chapman's Peak. Such a beautiful and scenic drive. Thank you for your fantastic video.
Thank you so much for this - I lived in Camps Bay for many years, and this has bought back so many happy memories. I play it while on my exercise bike ;)
Thanks for that, took me back and next time I`m going to do that run on a M`cycle rather than a car. Stunning drive and undoubtabley one of the best in the world for scenery :-)
Used to live in Cape Town, brings back beautiful memories, I've done this run many times. Thanks for a great video,.... a bit of 'chill-out' music would have made it even better.
I lived in Noordhoek for many years and also Hout Bay; , driving into George's Mall in the Cape was a schlep, but watching this takes me back, to happier days; Now living in the UK,
Thank you for sharing this. It was nice to see that part of the world again. I just wish the music continued or we could have heard anything after the first few minutes.
Now I understand why there is no sound, you are supposed to bring your own music then you will enjoy the ride. Thanks again for the journey and being a great chauffeur!
I'm planning to fly to Cape Town and drive the same route. I will definitely document it and post it here. I'm sure a lot has change, its been quite a while since I have set foot in Cape Town
Beautiful Video ...The best scenery in Cape Town .... Simply breath taking views .... Well made video Chris ..... Word of caution have the rite amount of money to pay at the Toll as they pretend never to have..... ? so u end up paying more .... 🤔....🤷♂️
Very clean place those Indian are very lucky to born in South Africa better than India which is so dirty all over ,,,my ancestors from India and I was born in Guyana South America I wish I was born in this beautiful land of heaven ,,
@@pointa2b388 You have been systematically manipulated. 28 years free but are you really free? You vote...but that is an illusion. No economic freedom. Taken away by the international political unelected bureaucrats for their financial gain and benefit. Loans etc to keep country in debt to them and poor. May God be with you.
I lived in Cape Town for almost one year. This route is a must to do in the Mother City. I went by car a couple times, but should have donne also riding my bike.😕
BB42 Cape Town is very safe! If you follow the same basic rules for personal safety that you would in any other city, you’ll be fine. I’ve vacationed there 3 times and never felt concern.
Chris Sheppard I hear you man! ...... I’ve got many videos I’ve made with my GoPro but doesn’t seem to have the quality as good as I want it to be either.
Assuming if I was a tourist, and refused to pay the R33 toll, what is the worst case scenario ?? Mind you I drove from Durban to Cape Town in 1979 on my new Honda XB750KZ and spent four glorious weeks there. Was sorry to leave, but had to go back to work. Did this drive in both directions. Would have moved to CT if it were not for family not wanting to leave Durban
I suppose you just wouldn't be allowed to pass through the toll barrier? My personal opinion is that the views are definitely worth the toll - video simply can't do it justice.
After seeing the cost , its well worth it seeing even if it was some 30 + years ago - shot myself in the foot with my comment before waiting to see the end. Hopefully we will be able to drive back to C T for another holiday.
Can you pls share the instrumental song name ? I loved it ! I spent a month in Cape Town and it was one of the best drives I ever had !! Beautiful video
The track is "Fresh Fallen Snow" by Chris Haugen. Click to download directly from RUclips's library: ruclips.net/user/audiolibrary_download?vid=ec12c5f108955f9e
Lovely drive. I lived in CT for over 3 years and it’s too beautiful for words. Pity no sound of the car, people etc. makes it boring as is. Started well with the music - pity. Thank you
+Andre de Villiers I used a GoPro Hero 3 (at the time it was the very latest) and shot the video in 1080p at 60 frames-per-second. I had the GoPro mounted on my windscreen using the GoPro suction mount.
The video was nice,BUT for people who do not know the place, are driving in the dark, because there is no commend or anything to say where you are driving and what is nice about each area you drive in. This make it a very very poor video.
Hey Chris! This looks like quite the drive and worth it 100%. I am visiting in February and will definitely be adding this to the list. Thanks so much for sharing. I went ahead and like and subscribed to your channel. I would love if you returned the favor. If not no big deal! I look forward to future adventures.
Alan Gaum Aside from RUclips removing my original soundtrack, this is my only regret. If I had a second GoPro, I would definitely have mounted it on the roof and pointed it out toward the water. It really is stunning, especially when you first catch sight of the beach at Noordhoek!
The quality of life looks so awesome literally looks like paradise

And also one of the most dangerous
