There was a pre-show from what I remembered. Footage of it was deleted years ago. A person playing the director comes up on stage to check everything and hype up the audience. They eventually started the “countdown to blast off” with the screen showing Poo rushing to make it on stage in time. Poo eventually gets stuck in something, but he is able to make it in the end.
@@CDCB2 Did you know this was 10 days after America changed forever and 9 months after Dale Earnhardt Sr lost his life on the final turn of the Daytona 500 in NASCAR and 2 months after Leon Wilkeson of Lynyrd Skynyrd passed and the year before I was born?
"Although the show originally ran for 25 minutes"... not necessarily? I'm looking at an extensive March 2000 article ahead of the show arriving in St. Louis, Missouri. They're saying it was only 15 minutes. Perhaps it was extended further into the tour?
@@NicholasMoreau This is the 2001 version, and the performance was definitely 25 minutes long. Pay attention to the time stamps in the corner of the video.

Wow just a week after 9/11 i was watching playhouse disney while it happened. The episodes of pbj otter which i watched during both plane crashes are its a bird a plane an elephant. Its a coincidence cause the plane crashed while that episode played.
Interesting! But on the topic of VeggieTales, since you mentioned you're wearing a shirt of it in this video, did you ever see the Jonah movie in theaters?
@CDCB2 because i want to see if pbj otter could be watched for those that never had the chance to tape it. I was lucky cause we convert my tape recordings to dvd. But i wondered to myself what about the others. They might of been around during those times but then got removed due to copyright. Most commonly recorded from playhouse disney uk channel which still aired reruns at the time
@@KristenThemermaid-tx9gn I recorded some episodes from TV and that’s how I was able to watch them before other collectors came forward with more episodes.
A small piece of history in its own way, 10 days after a much much bigger piece of history.
And this was 10 days after the attacks. Surprised this event was going around during a dark time.
Thank you for uploading this!
Thanks for Posting this!
I remember seeing another one where someone else was there in a different era but it was taken down.
I remember that video too! It was also incomplete, but it had some of the stuff I’m missing. Sadly I didn’t save it…
THANK YOU FOR FINDING THIS
Glad that this live show brought everyone in peace
That was amazing!!! I loved it!!!
Seeing Pooh Bear and Bear together is insane!
PB&J Otter is one of my favorite shows. I liked seeing how these puppets worked. Maybe Jelly sounded like she did in the show.
He’s The Swellest Kid-A-Round

Ooh-- In PB&J Otter's Noodle Dance in this mall tour, does Peanut say his line "I'll noodle, but I'm not dancing," before the Noodle Dance starts?
Can't remember! But I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
@@CDCB2 One more thing? Did Adam Rose still do the voice of Peanut? Or was his voice replaced in the 2001 edition?
@@DanielJones-sy5iw Sounds like a new voice actor to me.
@@CDCB2 If Peanut's voice is different in the mall tour, who wants to add some information to the PB&J Otter Wiki or the Disney Wiki about it?

Just a quick question did you watch pbj otter episodes on youtube around 2006 2007 or 2008

@CDCB2 so after the show was taken off in 2005 how could it be watched.
@@KristenThemermaid-tx9gn I recorded some episodes from TV and that’s how I was able to watch them before other collectors came forward with more episodes.
@CDCB2 you remember episodes recorded from playhouse disney uk cause thats how they were mostly watched online since you recorded them you were lucky.
Long shot but by any chance do you have any Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade telecasts in your collection?
I actually do! I have my own recording of the 2004 parade, and one from the late 80s that I got secondhand, I think.
@CDCB2 I could help with identifying that 80s one. Could you post some screenshots on your community post?
Do you remember if there was anything involving “Madeline” in the missing 16 minutes?
Nope, Madeline was not involved.
@@CDCB2 Crazy. Back in the early days I used to think of it as being as much a Playhouse Disney signature as the rest.
