Been trying to remember this game's name for ages. Glad I finally found it. Otherwise, I kinda wish I knew what the story was about, but I remember having fun with this game so I think it's okay
There are supposed to be two International versions of this game. In an earlier International release of this game. For example the sprites of some of the enemies have the same color as in the Japanese version. For example the creepy baby-like enemies in Stage 2 has flesh-colored skin but in later versions it was changed to green.
2 questions. First of all, where is the emulator to play this? Secondly, LOL, even in the uncensored version, they misspell Cherubim (like the Biblically accurate angel) as Kelvin. Of course, that has less to do with censorship and more to do with the translator not knowing the lore, like how FFVII has Seraph Sephiroth be called Safer Sephiroth.
@@nicomacdo Does it come with the game preinstalled, or are there separate files for that? I ask so that I don't accidentally download the US/censored version.
@@nicomacdo May I have the link to the version of Kujaku Ou 2 that you are playing, so that I don't accidentally download the wrong version? If RUclips will not allow posting of external links, you might have to update your video description with the link to post it.
It's the japanese pronunciation of "querubin" spanish for "cherub" . They do that a lot in anime, making the name of something out of the japanese phonetic or a foreign word. If you wonder what a cherub or "kelvin" have to do in this game, this games is the adaptation of an 1988 Anime Ova called "Kojaku ou:Castle of Illusion", based on the manga Kojaku-Ou . The plot have to do with the japanese conqueror Nobunaga Oda(the flying guy in armor you fight before the final boss) returning to life from the hand of some weird Christian sect(that's why the scythe centipede drops a cruxifix when dies) that plans to bring Querubin aka "Kelvin" to this world in order to bring the judgement day. To achieve that they kidnap Kojaku's girlfriend and re-incarnation of the goddess of destruction, Ashura(the blonde you rescue at the end), in order to drain her power and give it to querubin(kelvin).
Mindblowing atmosphere
