Such a great show, definitely hits home so personally for me. My best friend's favorite actor was Jensen Ackles, and his favorite show was Supernatural. He died on February 25th 2012. He never has gotten to see this ending, but in a way for me, this feels like the ending for two eras. Hopefully someday I will see him again, and tell him how much more amazing the show became and ended. To friend's, family, and brother's.

@Philip Marc From what I researched, Eric Kripke wanted the show to end with 5 seasons. However, Jared and Jensen had a contract signed for 6 seasons. So The CW greenlit the 6th season after Kripke stepped down as showrunner along with other production staff who onced worked on the show beforehand. And well, the rest is history from there.

I'm 36, I've been watching this show since I was 21. I don't have any other shows. Not like Supernatural.... Guys/ Gals this hurts. Thank you for a show my wife and I snuggled up to and talked about for the last decade and a half.

Been watching since im 30s now im 45 years old....my goodness.. my 2nd son born the same year supernatural first air in 2005.... gonna missed the show dearly and the reruns becomes our history....

When Sam said "it's ok Dean you can go" it really got to me. My Dad loved this show so much we watch it together as a family every week. He didn't get to see the finale cause we lost him last year to a severe stroke when he was taking his last breath we said to him it's ok Dad you can go. Although we didn't get to finish the series together Dad we celebrated it the way you would, the way Dean would too with pizza, burgers and pie. I know he loved the boys they were his other sons. I love you SPNfamily Carry on ❤

As sad as it was to watch, it was the ending that dean always saw coming. Him dying on the job and sam living a long normal life.

@J Howard Dean's death is definitely not my exact way for Dean to go out but it is what it is. With the covid restrictions they couldn't do all what they wanted to do with the final episodes. Be thankful that they were able to finish the show close to the way they wanted to.

@@CarolinaTorres-ry7nd I think it makes sense. Dean has killed demons, angels, and archangels, he was instrumental in God being turned into a human, not to mention he killed Death, almost twice. If any supernatural creature directly killed him, it wouldn't have felt right. It had to be something mundane. Sorry I went on a rant, but it's 2 in the morning and I'm tired.

So many people have been super negative about the episode so this comment section is honestly giving me life. Like obviously it sucked that what happened to Dean happened (I cried for a hot minute... okay maybe it was for a solid hour or two). But at the same time, this is the end of the line guys!
We have all stuck around together, as the spnfamily, supporting this show for years. No one can take that from us, not even the ending (if you didn't like it) can do that. This show has been a roller-coaster of tears and joy, and this fandom has been one of the best I've ever joined. All the art, and the conventions, and the good memories we've made are still there. WE DID THAT.
And it's not like Supernatural will just die, art can still be made, fanfiction written, us fans can still meet up. Instead of being all doom and gloom why don't we all focus on the positive side. Supernatural was a hell of a ride, from the first "dad's on a hunting trip" to the last hug. Carry on my wayward son will always be iconic, Baby is a great car, and Sam and Dean (unhealthily co-dependent jerks/bitches that they are) will go down as two of the best characters ever put to screen!

@@lethyV you are absolutely welcome I've been so honored to be a part of this fandom while Spn was still on air for nine years since 2011 its been quite the journey for me with the boys.
My two (minor) gripes-I do hate the randomness of Dean’s death. Though he’d always hinted himself that he’d die on the job, it was just a bit too random. I wish it had been something a bit more epic.
2.-HATED the cover version of “Carry On My Wayward Son”. I realize for the tone of Sam dying it has to be something slower and more somber but I just didn’t like it. I wish they’d gone with the “Fan Fiction” version that ended the musical.
About 12 years ago I started watching this great TV show. For me, "SUPERNATURAL" isn't just a TV show, but like a friend or family. When I was sad, happy, or when my life was boring and I wanted to die, I was encouraged because I knew I wasn't alone in this world and was fighting a tough fate with Dean and Sam Winchester.
However, when last episode has just finished. I was happy with Dean and Sam, but there is something in my heart that is gone. It's like leaving a long-time friend. I'm crying in my heart with a smile on my face.
Thank you so much for the best TV show. And I'll love you guy forever!!!

I just watched the finale episode of Supernatural Thursday 11/19/2020. I have mixed feelings about how my favorite series ended. However, I am glad Dean and Sam Winchester ended up together in the end. The two actors Jenson Ackles and Jared Padalecki portraying the Winchester brothers will always have a special place in my heart. They brought joy and happiness in my life each week for 1 hour for 15 years.😭Take care guys and I will miss you each week in my home. 😭
I cried when Dean died. Im happy Sam was able to eventually lead a normal life. Im happy Bobby was there too 😊❤
The only thing that makes me kinda mad is Dean fought God, Lucifer, and every other evil SOB out there and then dies to getting impaled with a piece of rebar 😂 we found his weakness boys! It’s rebar!

@@kadenthoreson9915 I would say its because they are no longer protected by chucks 'plot armour'. They were only invincible all this time because because of the story chuck was writing for them. they were "the main characters of the show" and needed to stay alive for chucks entertainment regardless of what came their way. That's why everyone else around them would die except they always somehow stayed alive.

@@thrillseeker2229 I thought the same thing and had been thinking it since this season started. They were being protected by God for the entire series and as long as he kept writing their story. Everybody talked about how often they were being brought back. But it makes sense that they would die without their fail safe. Although without Dean I can't imagine Sam surviving to old age unless he went back and got his law degree 😂😂
Honestly I never seen before something like THAT. Supernatural cast once again shown us that is one of a kind that they created such a great show... I've never seen actors and directors thanking fan like that... This is something truly exeptional. Once again J2, Misha and whole cast show us that Supernatural Family is real. And I'm proud and happy that I spend all this years following this amaizing story and inspiring people...

I've fallen out of love with this show a while ago, and I've mostly kept watching, because I've been watching for so many years but this episode really made me emotional
and it's honestly exactly what I wanted.
Not everyone''s gonna be happy with the finale, but I can definitely, I'm satisfied with how Sam's and Dean's stories ended.
So sad to think this show is ending , but to me this show has brought fans together as a family aka SPNfamily that will still forever be together and the crew and writers thank you so much for allowing us to see your work and talent and bringing these characters to life and it was a great 15 year journey to be able to watch and enjoy this awesome show.

I was at a party at Warner Bros. Studio for the Supernatural pilot in 2005 and just watched the final episode in 2020. My favorite show all these years...man what a journey
The ending was fitting to the characters, but I was teary-eyed. We will miss you guys. I have watched only one other series finally that was MASH. This was far more emotional. Maybe (Dean) Sam's son will carry the family tradition of Saving people, hunting things, the family business will continue and someday we will see those adventures. I want to wish Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki all the luck and success in their new roles. Let's see if we can see any Dean or Sam in them.

Just finished watching it....my eyes burn for the boys. I can dig this ending. I can relate when they said "Its OK". Thats the part that got me the most. That said. Well done guys. Ill be starting the series again soon for what seems like the 10th time. And you know what....."its ok".

I have been crying for the past two hours. Of all the ending I was imaging for this show this was not at all what I was thinking. I did not expect this ending at all. So many shows that I watch I am always upset with the ending and I feel like I am left with so many unanswered question, but not with this show not with this ending. Though I cried for a very long time I thought this was a perfect ending. I was left no unanswered questions and I was very satisfied with the ending. I felt like it completed the Winchester story. This show has meant so much to me and will always mean so much to me. I am sad to see it go. I will miss this show so much, but I can’t wait to watch Jared on Walker and Jensen on the Boys and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Misha and Alex. The show may be over but this family and these characters will live on forever in my heart and through the fans. ♥️

I was touched that they would film a thank you for us fans after the ending, just makes me like them more. I have to say I cried like a baby for the last 15 minutes, but I felt like both of them got the ending they wanted.

I remember watching supernatural since 7 years old, now Im an engineer here in the Philippines and thanks for this two guys who teach me not be afraid of demons. It makes my childhood awesome. I love the whole cast of supernatural, the crew, the writer, the editor, everything...
Even though I only started watching on January 17, this show has helped me through so much. I am forever grateful and this show will forever have a special place in my heart. Thank you Jared, Jensen and Misha for your inspiring words and thank you to the entire Spn-family for being my second family. This show will always be my favorite. Thank you all, I love you❤

59 year old here that has has been with SPN since episode 1. Last night was tough for me, for obvious reasons, and for the fact my military son is overseas and we used to watch this together. I miss him and I'll miss the boys. Carry on.
This is the part of the finale that made me cry. The guys coming out as themselves to say thank you hit home that it was over. It still makes me shed a tear

I watch this show for 5 years of my life and never have I been to attached to these characters. Watching them while growing up I've looked to them for the most joy in my life and watching them die hits so hard It made cry for the rest of the episode. I'm so glad they got the ending they deserved

My Dad would watch SPN with me, he was recovering from a stroke. One time we were watching 5.9 The Real Ghostbusters👻 At the convention everybody kept saying, "Hey Dean looking good, Dean this and Dean that. ." My dad looks at me and goes, "What's a Dean?" I nearly choked on my lunch😖 😄. This was not his typical show to watch but he could sense something great about it. He's passed on now but the memories linger❤️.

Ever since i started watching this show i fell in love. Im so glad im apart of this family. Much love to the whole family.
It's been a week since I watched episode 327 and it still hasn't quite sunk in, that it was the last episode of this crazy ride.
I saw the pilot in 2006, when I were in the grade, there were 6 tv-channels and no streaming platform battles. I saw a smallish article in the tv-mag about 2 brothers hunting monsters and little did I know then, that Sam & Dean would always be in my life; through the good, the bad and the worst of times. That I'd learn to know what AKF and Random acts are, take part in Misha's shenanigans during gish, read about Jared's struggles, listen Jensen's singing and what SPN Family is and should be about.
They've given us plenty and more through the show, so Jared, Jensen, Misha, Mark Pellegrino, anybody who's been a part of the show, don't deserve the **** that's been going on for a while now.
Jared & Jensen, this special mention goes out just the two of you. You and Sam & Dean's relationship made this more than just a tv-show and I didn't feel like an outsider because of this little show. Sam & Dean may be fictional characters to people, who don't understand but to me they're not. More my brothers than my actual brothers, more my friends than the people who I thought were my friends.
Family. Thank you, boys. For everything.
I'LL admit. I was SUPER PISSED, of Dean dying like that. But when they showed him in heaven, it became bittersweet.
Bittersweet because Sam was sad, & all alone. Then he was able to live the life he always wanted. While Dean rode in Baby; cruising peacefully along the back rodes.
I then started to be happy for Sam. Because of his son (whom he named after his brother 😄).
Then Sam growing old, & dying. With his son by his side. Telling him the same words Sam told Dean.
And my heart just FLUTTERED. When Dean said "Hey Sammy."
And then the cast, crew thanking us viewers for watching them for the past 15 seasons.

I can barely keep it together when Dean died. I cried when I heard carry on in heaven when Dean took his long drive. When Sam died and you hear the 2nd version of that song I lost it. I also couldn't stop crying after that message to the fans. It's been a great ride of 15 years. Enjoyed every episode. I'm going to miss this show very much.

So sad, didn't expect Dean to die that way, he couldn't even believe it he said but when its time its time lol. Least Sam had the chance to have a normal long life and have a son Dean Winchester J.r, the future Winchester hunter. Awsome how Sam met up with Dean in heaven, thnx to Jack and Cass making heaven better. Sad ending, was almost similar to the vampire diaries ending. It was a long ride boys!

I absolutly love this, so many shows I would have loved to see even a thank you in the credits, but we get nothing.
I felt this was the most fitting ending we deserved. it was epic, apt and heart wrenching all at the same time. I felt my childhood ended in the most fitting way it could be

Its very surreal that its over, I've been watching them for 15 years. I went through Middle school, Highschool and been working 7ish years In the whole time they where airing.

Started supernatural eight years ago because why not I was literally still crawling when it first aired. Supernatural was such an amazing show, I fell in love with characters like Crowley, Cass, Jack, Lucifer (personally loved the drama between Lucy and Crowley in hell lol😞) Kevin, Charlie, Bobby, rowena, garth and our witchester boys more so in love with the bond between Sam and dean.
