    Very interesting stuff.
Now how about an update that isn’t 15 years old.

Development to me, is build, test and fix. The 2003 aluminum amphibious vehicle was the first of its kind. Many mistakes; the articulation, the road wheels, the tracks in water, cavitation and very little thrust. Look at the Iguana Amphibious Truck on RUclips. It is still far from perfect but "fine wine takes time" The car you are driving took over 100 years to develop. Unlike ripsaw, the Iguana just keeps getting better.

The most striking is the long development time. You might have a solution for a not anymore existing problem because nowadays there are many tracked and wheeled off-road vehicles available.

NOW THAT IS JUST BAD ASS!! You should build one to go up against the new ripsaw. I think you got a good chance.

Can you imagine the capabilities with a cab crew. I'm retired from an electric utility nuclear bulked power mega watts . You could move men and equipment efficiently with this thru our many swampy right-of-ways. Arne michigan

as usual Anglo-Saxons copy and then give out for their own, DT-10 Knight Special equipment for working in difficult climatic conditions with extremely low environmental changes. The knight easily overcomes trenches and pits of different depths. The all-terrain vehicle is original from the constructive point of view: two-link, it is easy to transport goods weighing 10 tons. The junction of its links is two powerful hydraulic cylinders, which increase the passability of special equipment. From 1977 until now, Knight is considered the most versatile and passable all-terrain vehicle.

Any time they obscure the engine sound .. and overlay it with a placid musical soundtrack .. you can bet your bottom dollar the damned thing is LOUD.

the front axle articulates. why? smoother ride? it seems like it would put a twisting force on the tracks. awesome vehicle though. it really looks amazing.

Why put the engine in a trailer configuration on a tracked vehicle? Attempting a neutral turn would place a lot of wear and tear on any traction surfaces and corresponding components.
