Yeah, there was a Canadian version of this too, called a sno-husky, or something like that, and it wasn't made for speed, but for utility. The fact that you can haul logs with it is impressive. Trappers would be better off with a rig like this, in some respects, than a skiddoo. Low gearing is actually more useful than high speed in work situations. I actually laughed when I saw the guy went through the ice, having done that myself. Easy to work on the engine, simple design, yeah, it makes sense. But can you plow snow with it? Mount a snowblower on it? Mount a water pump on it? Mount a generator on it? It could be more useful if it had a few accessories.
Love the solution for steering. Simpler than skidsteer or differential steering. The homemade tracks are good also. A good work vehicle. Commendable!
It reminds of a Bolens Diablo Rouge that was made in Canada that my Dad had when he was alive. The engine and 2 tracks were in the front and you sat on a seat over the skies. It wasn't the fastest snowmobile at 40mph but it was smooth to ride and fun to drive and go places other snowmobiles couldn't. Except water..lol..just like this double tracker.
Wow I didn't know Bolens made the Diablo !@@!
Any links to sellers page would be helpful
Be good for retrieving animals hunting camping property maintenance pretty cool good video take care and be safe
So basically a half-track in reverse?
That is a really great working machine! They would sell well here in North America. Considering the price of the Polaris machines, and the John Deere Gators this is a bargain and much more useful.
Where do I get one!
Aaaah, you are so funny ! You think that with import costs, import tariffs, government legislations, distribution rights, and of course, profits for everyone involved up to the dealerships, which is quite normal, that this machine would still sell for 2000 bucks ? You've got to be kidding, right ? If certainly won't be sold for anything below $12. to $15. k, at least. It could still be a good deal, mind you ! 👍
@@daltonx6177 If the manufacturing costs were 2-3000 dollars, a retail cost of $10,000 is quite reasonable. The cost of one trasnocean would be too costly, but a container full of such items would be marketable. You cannot expect that everyone who touches the unit will get 50% of it's value as profit. Manufacturing and distributing does not work that way.
The off road atv has evolved into the side by side which cost in excess of $25,000, way too much, complex, and problematic.
Most people want an off road vehicle to be functionable, reliable, and of reasonable cost. $25,000 is not it!
Guess we'll have to wait and find out. Seems like an interesting machine but everything will depend on the price point over here. 👍
Man Russia can throw down when it comes to building off road
They have to
When most of the country isn't covered by well maintepained roads... it's a good incentive
Great price! really nice tracks, and the steering system is great, I like the return springs mounted on the rear like that, nice engineering!
Remember s me of a big RC tank for a horse and he is on his chariot going through the brush. COOL!!
a chariot would be perfect for this protection, gun storage, ect. Would we need to wear a roman helmet?
@@johnforrest8042 Roman helmet is required.
The price is right for two thousand dollars for sure. How much for shipping to USA ???? Thanks
And canada?
Yeah ill take one of these.
$2000
How much is it shipped to the USA ?
What is shipping to USA ??? Thanks
50+ years ago, in Canada we had the Diablo-Rouge. Check it out. Very similar, and many are still in use. In fact, my neighbor has one....!
The Imagination of the human race knows no bounds when engineers can design and build such incredibly helpful machines to help us with our daily tasks, this is fantastic, inspired and down right BRILLIANT 👍👍👍👍👍 and I do hope this machine goes into full scale manufacture.
Looks like a Struck Minidozer hooked to a trailer like the Chinese made walk behind tractors.
Pro's and cons to everything. Obviously this is a capable machine for getting around rough terrain with some cargo. Firewood grabbing, checking the perimeter of your estate, getting into town when the roads are not passable by normal means. But I would not enjoy spending time on it during the harsh weather. There is something satisfying about being in a cabbed vehicle.
Great idea! I like this one.
That is one very impressive machine.
Don't know which I like best - the machine or Grigorij's helmet !
Both!
You should provide the link to the official website where to buy it
$2000 I want one.
I know you said it's costing $2,000 but how much an American dollars does this cost I don't know what country you're from
Russians are very creative and you can't beat the price nice job 👍
Is this machine actually available to buy right now, because I'm interested. I live in Sweden.
Naaa, I didn't think so....
This would be perfect on a homestead
Oh wow, that was a really heavy load you pulled out there. My gosh it might have weighed 75 pounds. oh my.
Everything is water proof in Russia. Thats the sign of a great garantee. Submerge in water, tow out, start and continue your way
I'm no engineer, but wouldn't it steer better with independent tracks instead of the wheels?
This thing is cool, I wish we got stuff like this in America!
I could see this vehicle in Alaska and being better than a snowmobile for many many applications. with the size and shape of the 2nd half you could
even put a put a tent on it to stay out overnight if you had to when it was necessary.
reminds me of the similar machines thats in pakistan but older...
Such a tough machine,
I would love one but it would be hard to transport it!
Have any of you seen the two wheeled fat tire bike. That is very light but goes anywhere. The tires are like huge inner tubes and even help it to float on it’s side similar to a Rokon. Made in Russia.
They show it going up and down stairs with ease and going most anywhere with ease. Sand snow mud. It wasn’t fast but about as fast as this or faster. I would like one of those as well.
Nicely done...but America had a domestic version of this back in the 20's and 30's. Farmers used them around the farm and it also had a wagon so it could transport goods and passenger. It was steered like a bulldozer crossed with a Conestoga wagon. it had reins from the laterals back to where the driver sat.
This is a booth simple and genious construction that can be made by any countryside genious. So it has probably been invented several times, but rarely set into serial production and never into mass production. However, the guys that made it this time has done a great thing; A cheap cargo vehicle for winter contitions.
Ill take one of these.
WHere to buy!!
Like to be UK agent I sell farming quads
John Deer will be knocking on their door soon.
And the price will go from $2,000 to $15,000...
Good for work and hunting camp whare do you buy one
Reminds me of the old Bolens snowmobie from the 1960's.
The very first tanks built had the same type of steering..trailing wheels.
it is the simplest way to get steering..and since it does not have to put uop with cannon fire or explosives...it works..
It is not as efficient as clutches, brakes and differentials...
Where can I buy in Canada
I will take two
no boogies.... no track sliders..... only tension on wheels to keep track in place and suspension..... as track stretches from use.... getting it hung up on logs and or getting tree branch's and other stuff caught in track.... mud, dirty rocks.... get a sharp rock between track and tire... you screwed.... on hard pack trails or dirt roads... be a bitch to steer...
I"ll take 2 please, please inform mw if there will be USA distribution/ sales. Thanks!
Very cool
$2000 makes up for a lot sins! However, not sure it’s gonna maneuver well in tight areas without some type of proportional braking/steering?
Does anyone know if this is available in Canada? What is this called retail? How do we get our hands on one.
Before you said how it was 1 piece articulated frame and steering with rear tires. I was thinking it would be perfect new wheelchair base for me and steer with skid steer levers.
Keep the ideas coming for me maybe some day I can afford a workshop and parts to build a off road wheelchair
@Peter Peterson
-- Google ''off road wheelchair'' , it's already been done . . . . both wheeled & tracked versions .
Has anyone found a source for this machine? I sure haven't had any luck yet, anybody???
Would we be able to get this in Canada
Reminds me of what my uncle had in the 1970s except a lot more powerful. His had a sled on behind with a bench that sat two men in a line, opened up to stow the chainsaws etc.
Can I get one in the US
man that is nice another work of art from rus...i had already decided what to build ,then i saw this, haha...Yah bless...doug
Same here, Snowdog type tracksled it what I had in mind.....now I'm not sure!
Прикольная тарахтелка...👍👍
This thing is junk like Tao Tao. Handlebars are worse than my 5 yr old’s bicycle. Keep that thing in Bosnia or wherever you’re from.
Not fan of the steering setup. Sure its simple and cheap but in deep snow i dont see its steering well with those small tires nor with skies and loading cargo would put huge strain to that tiny axle causing it to sink easily due trailer having large ground pressure. Improvement for it, maybe add couple motorbike shocks on the hinge point so when going to uphill it wont suddenly flip backwards like its trying to do and hence loosing traction. Just needs long travel shocks for that and obviously limiters so it wont backflip top of the driver.
I love it elegant design not for play like most shit made but real machine on budget.
Unique 50 year old design. AKA Diablo Rouge.
That thing is awesome.
old tech we had this in the 1960s they were snowmobiles and they sucked
Really unique. Bolens Diablo. Look it up.
This is old ideas. Thie machine wouldn't last a half day with US riders. A lawn mower engine is soooo outdated.
A farmer might like it, but where is the cab and heater, power windows? Driving this through the trees must be a nightmare!
very interesting design
I was listening to this gentleman narrating. He specifically said that this vehicle shown in this specific video is the "cheapest" one offered. If you know what to look for you cN tell that the quality is lacking. If you have the $ and time an updated version will be a much better solution.
It’s not new, the “Red Fox” was built in the 60s
I try to compliment the builder and this channel owner and all I get are BS replies. As a result, this will be my last post on anything posted by Review Machines Worldwide.
Builder did a great job , kept it simple .
Don't know who's responding to you. It's a fine channel and the machine is creative.
Think it's Awesome.
I've wanted a snowmobile for some time now, but here in the states they are Very Expensive...even a good used one will cost $3,000.
Depends on what you mean by good. Where I live i see a lot of 90 s polaris indys go for a couple hundred bucks in running and driving condition.
Unique?? I think you are forgetting the Diablo by Bolens in the early 1970's.
Next best thing to a sherpa but at a much better price!
Pretty cool 1920's technology.
hello i live in canada perfect for our country too-does this co. sell the blue prints ? it would save me alot of time, i love the concept and would really like to build one of these. ill pay in us or can $ pls reply
did you have master cheif (halo) driving this thing? or was the 'the predator"?
I like the rugged designs that eastern European/North-Western Asian inventors make
Пипец, включил русские субтитры, робот выдаёт ахинею несусветную, не понимает диктора ). Выключил, так понятнее.
Years ago they made these. I had to operate the old ones a few times. They were much slower tho. They were known as Mule. It was a replacement for the horse for those who didn't like the modern gas or steam tractors at the time. Some had wheels some had tracks. Used plowing, mowing and many other uses. There was a series of ropes to control it ... like a team of horses. They weren't very safe at 10 mph. lol
The cool thing was it was controlled by ropes...one for the clutch, two for the throttle, two for shifting and one for each left and right brakes. If you were ingenious there would be an eighth rope to work as a kill switch. It was much easier to use the horse. LMAO Two ropes....
This would be great for gathering up blowdowns without destroying the forest.
I've seen this thing on survival russia several years ago
I wish I had one in Central Nevada USA where I could put it to an ultimate test and it would no doubt improve my life. I could take my disabled wife up into the mountains where I love and it would help me go because she would be there.
Where we by the stuff you show
Nice setup. I would love one 👍👍👍
It goes without saying where there is a will there's a Russian way....nuff said
Neat design, but the transmission chain is not oiled and exposed to the elements.
This could very easily be made by chopping up an old riding mower
Putting tracks on the tires of a riding lawn mower and then you ride in the trailer
Looks like it would be a good tool for a homestead.
Thats cool
I would buy one today if I could
Super hot bravo cest une super machine comme dans le ten le fameux Bolens Diablo Rouge
that's convenient, breathing exhaust all day!
это намного интересней и лучше мотособаки такую штуку для буксировки валежины само то
CVT and gear box, that's a waste of parts if I ever seen it.
Hello, I cannot find any link to the factory of this ATV.
Why not put another one on the back and make it a tracked articulate?
The more weight you get in the trailer the harder it steers. Not a good concept
Tracked offroader existed in the 60’s. The brand name was Bolens . Google the name.
There were more than that too. Lots of brands made them.
@@nybergsgarage
Yeah, i believe so
I was a kid and i remember riding on a red one with my dad and uncles. Great life moments
@@denmann364 yep. Love vintage sleds. So many great memories.
Any dealers in Canada yet?
Great item at that price point, but the rear steering is very limited. Ask anybody who ever drove a half track or better yet a more modern commercial riding rough mower like a Toro groundsmaster from the days before zero turn machines took over. In slippery conditions, those rearward steering wheels would simply slide sideways across the ground and give you zero steering and making the wheels bigger or grippier to counteract that tendency made it a bear physically to crank the wheels back and forth. But like I said, it absolutely achieved its goal of inexpensive transport.
This isn't a unique design husky made these back in the 60s
Its awesome !!! Were cold i get one for 2000$ ?
Where do I get one and how long for shipping I live in Colorado
So has it gone into production , and is it available in Canada ?
