The Graham Norton influence is strong with Colbert I’ve noticed a slow increase in alcohol being served since he had Graham Norton on 😂
Ha ha i noticed that too 😂
They have it in their dressing rooms too if they want it. Way back since Carson. Probably even before that.
@@djsammysosa1 having it in a dressing is something also shows do, the graham Norton influence is drinking on stage in front of everyone during an interview
Actually, it's not new. Colbert has often taken a shot with guests for years. You must be a new viewer.
Point of reference: Ed McMhon
Hugh Jackman's energy and joy are just outstanding!
I saw him in The Music Man at the Winter Garden Theater and he was SO charismatic and full of energy. He is truly made for stage and screen.
Ik ❤️
How can you NOT love Hugh Jackman- he just seems like a nice guy.
I dunno, he can get real aggressive.
I didn't actually interact with him but when I worked at Surrender Nightclub in Vegas years ago Hugh was passing through the entryway where people line up to get in and most celebrities aren't trying to sit around and wait to get through the madness and request they be escorted through. Hugh was so nice to the staff and waited like any regular person to pass by the club entrance and it really humanized him to me. I don't know a lot about the guy but he was patient and treated people with respect and that was great to see.
@@ronniewells5231 Thank you, I was expecting this story to go towards the negative, glad it didn't.
well i don't love him
@@DeadPiixxel no one said you had to LoL 😂
“The Fountain” is a great example of Hugh’s range as an actor. He plays a conquistador, a scientist and a monk in a space bubble garden all in the same movie. Well worth checking out.
It is one of the first movies that I absolutely fell in love with and I’m so glad to find another admirer of the film so randomly! Sending all the good vibes your way✨
@@RiverSlant Got to say that it’s one of my favourites too. Cheers.
Watched it in theaters and it blew my mind. Still love that movie.
Hands down my favorite
Absolutely love that film
Everything this guy does is GOLD!!!!!! We love you Hugh and cannot wait to see you and Ryan's craziness on screen!!!
Idk Peter Pan was pretty awful
Les Mis was pretty bad (at least, compared to every stage performance of it, ever)
@@ricobuttonpusher7061 wait, when was Hugh Jackman in Peter Pan?
@@ricobuttonpusher7061Have to admit, haven't seen it, sorry.
@@leemiller6977 in Jackman's defense, _he_ was fine, it was the _rest_ of the cast that made the movie version of Les Mis unbearable.
It's good to see fans react like that to Jackman. He's such a gift to us fans.
Hugh Jackman was born to play WOLVERINE.
Ya it true
Well, in reality, no, comicbook Wolverine is short (people often underestimate how dangerous he is), and comicbook fans were initially pissed off, thinking why did this tall Broadway singing actor get the part? He's such an incredible actor that he made Wolverine his own, and now a lot of people can't imagine anyone else play the part.
@@blublubblub Luckily, most people who watched the X-Men films have never and will never read comics, so his portayal of Wolverine stands as how he performs in the films.
It's impressive how he played such an iconic character and still gets (and nails!) such a variety of roles, not just endless iterations of Wolverine-like characters.
Except his height
You can tell the guy just loves to entertain. Awesome human being he is.
He’s no Human, He’s a Mutant!
You know Reynolds and Jackman have to be super good friends for him to go through that physical alteration process for Wolverine because everything I've ever heard or read about it is that the process is very brutal
yeah and I even think, with Deadpool's comedy and 4th wall breaking style, he could have gotten away with a muscle suit and lots of jokes about being too old to actually get jacked up. but nope, real muscles it is!
Deadpool 3 may split all trilogies in half and take its place at the top.
@@var67 nope, not for Hugh Jackman as he’s very careful about taking care of his body and he’s said many times there’s no way he’d ever take steroids or any other drugs.
Hugh has a team of people that he’s worked with for years to get him in Wolverine shape from trainers, to physiotherapists and a nutritionist and chef.
That’s why when he stopped playing Wolverine he went back to his normal body shape which is naturally lean and slim and it’s also why it takes such hard work for him to bulk back up again.
Unlike an average person he doesn’t have to resort to drugs as he’s lucky that the studio provides him with a team of training specialists.
@@var67 You can tell which guys are on PEDs. Wolverine was always jacked, yeah, but nowhere near as shredded as some of the recent Marvel guys. There's a look that PEDs give you, the extreme definition along with huge size. Wolverine was always big, but the definition wasn't crazy.
Drugs wouldn’t have much an affect on his mutant physiology anyway.
2022 was really rough for me, moving to NY state from the Midwest, away from dear friends and family, not knowing anyone. Being able to see Hugh, Sutton Foster, and Mark Linn-Baker in The Music Man during my first time in the city was absolutely THE bright spot of my year. The entire cast was incredible.
I got to see the show on the first of the year, and it was the highlight of the last two years for me! Great experience
Wish you to have amazing time at NY state! :D
It's unbelievable that the ferocious Wolverine lives in this pleasant, humble guy. Talk about talent!
❤️❤️
This guy is just 1 Oscar away from EGOT....
C'mon Academy give him it, he deserves it.
Should of got it for Les Mis
Lets all just accept there is a 100% chance that Deadpool and Wolverine will have a musical number in this film. It could be the biggest thing since "Rogers: The Musical"....god help us.
100% chance wolverine will carry Deadpool in his arms and Deadpool putting his head on his shoulders lol
Love this guy, his Wolverine is iconic.
So charismatic, he’s earned it all
that shirt and trouser combo is what's really iconic. he's so stylish.

I think the reason why audience was slow to applaud at 6:55 was because they didn't want to disturb the conversation.
Yes... Logan is one of my favourite movies
I didn't like that movie. It was dark and depressing and a horror quiet frankly, Wolverine comics aren't horror. Nor are X-Men comics, but I'm glad that slow applause came to support him, he was great as Wolvie in the first two movies, and he always deserves applause because he's awesome
@@paulpolpiboon9535 I'm sorry, but I'm convinced you haven't read a single Wolverine or X-Men comic in your life.
It was a golden movie with the best portrayal of wolverine in ages. ❤️
We always talk about how Paul Rudd never ages, but we might need to start including Hugh Jackman in that conversation.
The fact that he recognised members of the audience from being at his shows too is amazing (I’m not a theatre dude so this could be a common thing among lead actors), I’ve played a fair few music gigs and usually I’m so focused on the show I’m putting on I’d recognise people over the show or a couple nights if they come back, but never outside of the venue.
No, it's an astounding feat. I've been in plays, nothing like the capacity crowds he would be playing for, and you're so lost in the flow of the story and playing off your fellow actors, that you almost forget that there is an audience.
For him to recognise faces in the crowd is unreal....
I don’t think he actually recognized individual audience members, he was just assuming since a lot of the audience will be from New York that they had seen his show.
@@Nasro703 and are clearly people who go to live performances.
Yeah I assumed that he was assuming that some people were at the show, but also, did you guys see that clip of him recognising his old student from way back when before he was even famous. He does seem to remember faces really well.
@@TooLittleInfo It's not that unusual for a teacher to be able to recognize an old student. You're with them regularly over a long period of time. You know them. This teacher just happens to be a super famous actor now.
I saw the Music Man twice. Once with my father, which was his 2019 Christmas present after having a triple bypass in September that year and waiting for two years due to COVID, and another with my sister over the summer. And both times, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster and the entire cast were absolute magic on stage. We left the theater with huge smiles on our faces thanks to the love they all had for the show
Playing Wolverine is second nature to this man! Im so hyped for Deadpool 3!!!
First saw Hugh in Melbourne australia 1996 as Gaston beauty and the beast- just amazing
Hugh & Ryan should do a charity boxing match
As Wolverine and Deadpool.

Hugh’s too classy for that
That laugh at 4:47 is one of the most genuine guffaws I've ever witnessed. Just awesome.
I see Stephen has learned from his interview with Graham Norton all those years ago. Liquor them up!
I feel like him being a singer is what makes him a great wolverine. He can literally hold a long ass yell because he has amazing vocals 🤣🤣🤣
Hugh is one of the most pure people and talented actors there is. I’ve loved him and everything he’s been in. Can’t wait to see him opposite of Deadpool.
He's such a pleasant guy.
You (Wolverine) are the reason my grandson went to broadway with me. He was mesmerized.after he said, jackman looked like he really was having fun. My comment nothing better than doing what you love for a living. Love your talent and hard work.

Love Hugh he is great and loads of fun to watch no matter what he is in. I wish I could see him on Broadway someday as I have heard he is great at that too.

Got to see Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster in the Music Man on New Year's Day. Everyone was fantastic and it looked like the entire cast was having so much fun playing off each other! There was a moment during the second act where Hugh broke character and started laughing uncontrollably because Sutton's character physically pushed him back a little too hard. They both broke out into laughter and the audience laughed with them. That's the fun thing about live shows; you never know what could happen but everyone is there for the ride. You also get to see their personalities come through during those brief times which is also fun for the audience!
The movie Logan, was probably the only movie that was too emotionally intense for me to finish.
Probably the only movie I was too distressed to finish.
Prisoners is a difficult watch too
I was afraid Logan would be too gory for me, but I was okay with the fight scenes. It was sad to see the end of Wolverine, but the movie was fantastic!
Now that you know that Wolverine really lived and went on to Deadpool 3, you can finish it without stress.
@@daveclark8337 i mean not really, cuz iirc Logan was set in 2029 and Deadpool is in current time right?
Hugh is getting in shape really fast, amazing what muscle memory does

His body is amazing. You can see it even in the way his clothes fit
Its gonna be awesome to see Hugh and Ryan in an MCU movie together!

Hugh Jackman will make a great James Bond.
My lord, that man is beautiful.
One of the few, who on entering, acknowledged the band.

Hugh Jackman Is Absolute Acting Gold!💖
I love this guy so much. Idk if they'll ever find someone else to play Wolverine when he finally lays down the title. He does it so damn well. Idk who else could fill his shoes.
you dont need to worry ,there is always someone beter
He says in an interview deadpool 3 will take place before Logan (2017). So Logan’s character still ends the same like we saw in the 2017 film. Deadpool 3 might just be a way for marvel to give Hugh a canon role in mcu before introducing a new logan cast at the end of the movie
@@titusnyaaba2233 I don't know if they will be better, but there is always someone else who can take over the role. Whether they can match how well Hough plays Wolverine is the question though

I’m glad Hugh Jackman is back in the Wolverine action
Hugh Jackman is gonna be a Huge Jacked Man by the end of Deadpool 3.
Lol the funny thing is that him not Ryan to get validated is perfect for channeling that towards wolverine and Deadpool 🤣

If anyone wants to learn more about Hugh Jackman, SAG did an amazing interview with him. It's over an hour long and it's very interesting
Damn it's such a pure joy whenever I watch Hugh Jackman
Wolverine diet is making him look great👍
Hugh Jackman is so universally likeable
I’m so excited to see him return in Deadpool 3, it’s going to be such a crazy movie!!!
Hopefully it's not made earlier in the "time line" before Logan. I'm hoping Mr pool digs him up and jabs him with some of that stuff
What a charismatic legend.
Yup, it’s impossible to find anything not to like about the guy…
Seeing The Music Man in Row 2 with my daughter was one of the most special evenings of my entire life. I have seen many Broadway shows, but few have been anywhere as near perfectly wonderful and delightful as this, with Sutton and Hugh in the lead roles.❤️ I completely agree with Stephen that it was the most purely entertaining show on Broadway in recent memory.
Thanks Stephen, for showing me the recipe for espresso martini. You've inspired me make myself one. Btw, what was it you put for seasoning at the end, ground coffee powder?
Hugh & Ryan should do a musical commercial to promote Deadpool 3 in character
The irony of the original Wolverine, in the very first cartoon having an Aussie accent is...Uncanny.
I almost forgot about that old vhs tape
Xactly
Oh wow, I never knew that. I just looked it up and that is a fascinating coincidence :D
This Australian thought it was meant to be a Canadian accent?
nice combination, shoes etc. whats the trousers type called?
Hugh Jackman, Viggo Mortensen and James Caviezel...three of my favorites and so down to earth. 💖
The PR campaign for Deadpool 3 (Wolverine 10) gonna be insane with Ryan & Hugh, can' wait.
Love Hugh Jackman for life
Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur is legit 👌
So good they uploaded it twice.
All the fans of Hugh jackman are happy he’s coming back as the wolverine so am I but I just hope he doesn’t strain himself training coming back as the wolverine
I'd just like everyone to know that Mr Black Coffee Liqueur is also Australian. Look at that..
Very jealous of America. You always get Hugh Jackman's musical stage shows. Here in Australia, his home country, we are grateful to get his touring shows where he performs a song from each show. I met him at the 2013 comic con and he was WONDERFUL. Big fan. He's trained for a Wolverine film before while doing a musical, he can do it again.

I'd love it if SC could rotate between Hugh Jackman, Michelle Obama, John Oliver, Emma Thompson, and Tom Hanks as guests.
