These 2 single-pole light switches will be together inside one junction box (J-Box) each controlling a light fixture individually. This is also great wiring for bathrooms were you want to control a light and a fan Independently. There will be only one power source going inside the 2 gang J-Box, feeding to the 2 single pole switches going to the 2 light fixtures! Very clear explanation. Out of habit, I always place the line wire on the bottom screw terminal of the switch and the load wire (going to the light) on the top terminal. Easy to remember, because I rationalize that flipping the switch up sends power to the upper terminal and out to the light. In the end, does not matter if these are reversed as you did.

I use Wago connectors too but I wrap electrical tape around them as the levers have a little bit of play in them and can come up a little bit when you push them into the jbox. I also wrap a light duty zip tie around the wires connected in each Wago about an 1 1/2" down from the Wago. This takes any stress off the wires where they enter the Wago when they are being pushed into the jbox. Thanks for your videos. You have a great way of explaining things and breaking everything down.

Wow wow wow! OMG thank you! Truly, for me, this is the most excellent, helpful RUclips video I have ever watched. I've been doing a couple easy projects around my house, and now I want to buy and install those ultraslim ceiling LED's, kitchen and front room. I already watched, like, 6 other videos, and only one of those was very helpful, but you take the blue ribbon, it's yours! I bet I learned ten useful informations. I used to be hopelessly confounded by wires and outlets; I considered myself out of my depth. It's like you reached down from a high cliff at the ocean and extended your hand and pulled me up. I'm so happy I can learn this stuff, and I need never be intimidated beneath trying a slightly better challenge. I can do these upgrades, I will do them well, and I will enjoy having accomplished my now realizable dream.

The best explanation I have ever saw, question, what if a 2 switch gang box has only 2 cable feeds and one of the feeds uses just the white wire.
