Great video!
@@Xanderstrengthfitness Thank you!
Good video they will be back!
@sashanason8853 Mid to end of August we will get into a ton!
We were out in the same area two weeks ago in similar wind. Even double anchored, it was tough! The wind was blowing up river and was wanting to push us up. We ended up setting up river from there a ways. Still battled the wind, but it was a bit better. My wife ended up bringing in a 23.5lbs flathead. Caught on a rattle float rig, 10/0 circle with a great big bluegill. Wonder where I learned that from. 🫣😂 Thanks for sharing so much knowledge buddy.
@Rickyriner Wow this is awesome man! Thank you so much. I'm glad you guys got into them! We may have been out there the same night lol
@@TheAnglerJay It couldn’t have been the same night because we fished pretty much exactly where you were setup in your video until around 11:30pm and then moved up. We were back out the night of the 4th and got into 5 of them in the deep hole right in front of the boat ramp. Usually guys from the bank are fishing it. So you have to dodge sinkers to fish it from a boat. We usually let those guys have the spot. Haha. Anyway, we lost a very big fish there. It went into some structure and got hung. Ended up breaking off. The leader line that was left was very chewed up. Side scan shows a whole lot of stuff in there. So who knows? Anyway, hope to see you out sometime. Dark blueish gray Xpress with Mul-T-Bars on the back. There are some good spots up stream there too.
@Rickyriner I did notice that spot but yeah there's always someone there lol... I have not gone up river yet but I do want to look around up there more. Hopefully when they're done spawning but there's definitely still fish to be caught.
