Agreed, my 11 year old cousin had to go into the dentist by himself and my aunty was so upset that she couldnt be there with him as you can imagine the objects being prodded. They told her to wait in the car, an she is a single mum who molly coddles him.
And for one thing I would be scared that my child will be molested. You just never know nowadays

No you was right ! My 7 year old nephew went to the dentist they didn’t let my sister in the back next thing you know he ain’t wake up from anesthesia had to rush him to the Emergency room he’s fine now but it was a horrible experience ! So you wasn’t wrong at all !!

Your home is coming together nicely. I love the decor. You did the right thing concerning the dentist appointment. You are your child’s voice and no decent establishment would require you to leave your 1 year old with strangers. You should never feel bad for establishing boundaries for your child. Girl you are not tripping !! You’re such a good mom and I recommend NEVER letting that happen until she’s at least a teenager. My boyfriend went to a dentist office where they would tell the parents the same thing about them not being able to be in there with them, and they would put them to sleep and put all the kids in a back room strapped to a chair he said he remembers waking up and seeing that. He hated going to the dentist and he told me later on they showed on the news for child mistreatment. Who knows what they did to those kids in there it breaks my heart hearing that. As a parent you most definitely doing a good job!!! Rather trip than be sorry fr
Wow, that's crazyyy. I recall a time when my parents asked me to take my brother to the dentist, but despite me being a legal adult they refused to attend him without an actual parent. I couldn't imagine not being let in the same cubicle with your own CHILD!!!!

WE WOULD NEVER let any baby in without a parent or guardian present especially not mommy present so you did the right thing & just make sure no milk or any juice after brushing teeth in the night time just water if anything but YOURE A GREAT MOM !! ❤️ keep it up boo 😝

I'm so proud of you. The apartment looks so good. That dentist tho...wth. my daughter went to her first Dental appt last week. I was supposed to take at 12 months back in March but I delayed with everything going on. Anyway, I got to be with her during the appt and my poor baby was still so scared. I couldn't imagine her fear or anyone's child being alone with a stranger. Also even though people might seem professional you never know their ill intentions. You made the right call and you should look into a new dental clinic asap.

I have the French lavender & honey spray and I love it 💕. Also you aren’t being dramatic about you cancelling her appointment. Who in their right mind will let they child back in a room by themselves with doctors under the age of 2?!!Hell even 8??? That’s could be scary and potentially traumatic for them honestly, and I wouldn’t put my child through none of that. Some of these medical personnel don’t even know how to handle a fussy child screaming for their parent, they’re too rough and handle them any kind of way out of frustration of not being able to control them. 🗣 ☕️ so ISSA NO!

I understand their strict policy - But that would be a “no” on my end. I would be a helicopter mom for sure. Just wait longer and see if restrictions get loosened up down the road, or find a less stringent dentist - although I don’t want them to be too careless.

Suggestions..
Get the 4th chair. If you can move your set a little towards the middle, then center the picture on the long wall. The rug is nice but think about spills and them getting in the way of the chairs. Frame it or not and hang it on the wall. And maybe use no rug underneath due to food and spills.

You are not over reacting, they did that to me with my granddaughter at her dentist appointment. I wasn’t having it either. Anything could happen when you are not around. There are multiple dentist offices but you have 1 daughter. GREAT MOM, GREAT JOB💕💕💕💕💕
No you aint trippin! I was like that about my son getting circumcised... I found a dr. that let me be in the room after being told I couldnt be with him,they said I'd be traumatized and he didnt even cry so Im glad I stuck with my instincts
