I want to share another way to add calcium. Add one egg shell per plant. Put the shells in a blender.
Add water and puree. Add that to any plant such as tomatoes that can develop blossom end rot.
    Love your videos

Last year I planted marigolds and calendulas in my containers. They got HUGE! So this year I'm planting them in separate pots because I feel they take too much away from the vegetables when grown in the same pot. And hopefully if their pots are right next to the vegetables they will still work to attract pollinators to and discourage bag bugs from eating.

Thank you, Kim! One of the things I love about your videos is you let us see plants through their lifespans (whether in the same or later videos). After I watched you plant this zucchini, I was wondering what the plant was going to look like when it was producing...and there it was later in this video. That helps me so much to determine how much space I will need, which IMHO is often overlooked in garden tutorials. You give me so much confidence to try new things in the garden!

Thank you so much! We are so grateful for our backyard, if it weren't for the make over T.V. show that we were selected for.....a total blessing. So to use it to encourage others to garden....Do try the grow pots, I think you'll like them. The fabric is virgin wool (quality) and allows both light and water in - which prevents root bound. I wash them as needed, hose them off, etc. but I love being able to move them around. Start with some small ones and see how you like them, Rosanna! Thank you for watching and commenting and subscribing if you have not yet! CaliKim

Greetings from Quebec Canada! New to your videos. You are a very pleasant youtuber and your teaching is quite valuable. I started slowly growing humble herbs in flower beds and one tomatoe plant two years ago. Last year I went up to three tomato plant, again herbs and also tried similar 20 liters grow bags. My tomatoe plants in grow bags did not yield as much as the one in larger raised beds. I think this year I will save the grow bags for my first year growing potatoes as they will make it easier for harvesting. Also new for this year, I made a grow tower out of a 45 gallon plastic drum for the leaffy greens and some veggies. Hint: last year I was successful in growing a nice sunflowers hedge which kept the ants busy and away from the garden (even a deer) and the sunflower stems are good free stakes for this year garden.
Liked your video, subscribed and will check the links you provided later on.
    Thanks again!

Planting a little bit of everything :) Last year because we purchased a new place we planted a small garden in the ground last minute since we have 1 acre to use for a garden and the garden exploded! Serious chaos but yummy. I never fertilized only because everything was thriving producing soo much we couldn't use it all fast enough. We did prep the soil really well and we must have good soil here to begin with. It was a lush green pasture with cattle on it when we purchased. It produced soo heavy into first part of November. This year regrouping i can't do chaos lol we will be starting to build containers for some stuff that we had issues with pests . We also purchased a couple kits to try and we will be using smart pots like we did in the past. The smart pots are awesome! I think they look nice too! Thank you for Sharing your knowledge and motivating me for this season happy planting from Northern Cali

Oh, I should mention that my most successful plant in a container is the supersweet 100 cherry tomatoes. HUGE plant, great fruit. You have to get a really tall cage or support, because plants started in May were 8ft high by August. I spent many hours trying to stop em growing higher, with little success.

I really wish that, I had sen your videos a year ago. I have made some nice raised beds. They were made from wood and it was a deal of work. I will be leaving them here when, I purchase my new home. If knew about the bags, I would have used them. The nice thing about the bag is that you can move your garden with you.

Thank you for posting this video. So much of what you covered were some of my problems. You make it seem so easy, and I think, “Why didn’t I think of that.” Great ideas. Thank you

Ya the 20 gallon grow bags seam to be a great size. I am planning on going up to a 10 gallon size bag in hopes that my plants will do better. I might go to a larger 20 gallon slowly over time. This was great to have all the videos all in one. I really like the container videos because this is the kind of gardening that I do the most of. :) Thanks for sharing :)
