Its 2023, I haven’t watched this in years, but I’ve never forgotten about this piece. Every time I hear this song, I think of it. Teenage me was obsessed and 30 year old me is still mesmerized!
This choreography is so satisfying. It's not perfect, but it's just so refreshing to see a contemporary piece that isn't just a bunch of tricks and fouettés. Anyone agree?
I remember learning this choreography in my front yard after quiting dance, and i still remember the choreography. This and a few other routines have kept me Active and in shape😂😊
this was the best group of this company..... they were so sharp and on point with each other and the music. they are just visually stunning. i miss them!
I love how everyone person has their chance to shine. The choreographer lets each dancer switch from back to front, not leaving a single person in the back the whole time. Everyone is equally importantl.
1:20 the scissor arm motion is beautiful and at 2:05 MY FAVORITE I love this. It's the most expressive move of pain I've ever seen. holding, hunching over, and the shaking is like crying or fear. I love this dance. It's wonderful
I am now truely in love with Kate Jablonski. I watched this video multiple times months ago and loved it. Upon reviewing it, I've seen all sorts of cool funky choreography that I missed. Great stuff that is all I got to say.
no one has any idea how much i love this work. i love all of jablonskis work. but this is my favorite by far. whenever i go to winter guard practice and we have our dance practice, we dance to this song, and im always stopping to do something i might remember from this work. ahhhh this is fabulous and lauren is amazing

just brilliant. Absolutely perfect fusion between the IH song and the dance. One seems to have been created for no other reason than to compliment the other. The choreographer deserves much respect for interpreting Imogen's music so flawlessly. Bravo!!!!
Really really lovely...there are so many routines to this song that just are terrible...i love the simplicity of some of the movement, makes you appreciate the difficulty involved in just doing a simple gran plie. Very well put together...love the pas de deux and the male lift...would love to see more of your stuff
Someone took extreme care, after much planning, to videograph to this quality. Smooth pan/tilt, changes in camera hght, no loss of action on the periphery; top grades. The editing is also very smooth; good switch choices made throughout. It appears to be a two-camera shoot; kudos to both for staying out of each others' sight! Noticeable extra camera motion around 1:16 - :40 (handheld?), but IMO it adds a sense of realism and 'in the moment'. I'd love to hear from you on how you planned it out!
lauren vogel is AMAZING! i swear in all the dance videos i've watched by katieshmatee, i always love the ones with her! all of kate's dances are amazing but lauren vogel just makes me want to watch them even more... especially in grief!

This is seriously the most amazing choreography I have ever seen. Everything about it is so raw and genuine. I've watched all of these videos probably a hundred times. There is no other way to put it other than this is what happens when a group of dancers just completely lets go of everything holding them back. It is pure emotion and pure soul.
I find the most amazing part is at the very beginning, the whole chain reaction. but the third girl from the front, I love how her little fist puts so much power into the actions she leads.
