Those new green ones look light ? Btw if you want to try and regain some waterproofing to the old boots then purchase a cheap clear tube of silicone and some white spirit...mix in a cheap spray bottle around 60% silicone and 40% spirit...shake very well and spray on the shoes....saturation is key...worth a try 😉🙂👍🏻

      Thanks for the tip 👍
The green ones (going by hand) are either the same weight or slightly heavier.

Hey buddy, can you let me know how long Euro Sprint was waterproof? Was it completely waterproof as new and how long it lasted? And also are they slippery on wet road/surfaces or surfaces in shopping malls or even in snow? Thank you very much for your time.

I made 3 videos on these timberland boots. I’m not sure if I reported how long they stayed waterproof in one of the other videos. They can be found by searching timberland on my channel. They were for intents and purposes waterproof from new.
Don’t believe I ever slipped in them in a shopping mall. It never snowed for me to walk in them. Any boot will slip on muddy surfaces if the surface is just right. These proved to be great boots. I have a black pair now with lower ankle support and also a pair of shoes that I will be reviewing soon that are amazingly comfortable I walk all day in them.
      Hope that helps.

@@experiment54 Thank you very much for your kind answer and time. I have bought them. If you have some spare time, it would be great if you could share, did you had a problem with smelly feet at all due to TimberDry membrane, since I have read that a lot of people have smelly feet due to Gore-tex and seems that Timberdry membrane has lower breathability in comparison. What is your estimate that they can last (1-2-3 years), I know it depends on how many hours you wear them per day, but some rough estimate would be great.

@zehrariz should get a year out of them easily. It all depends on how far you walk as the sole will wear out. If you are mostly stood around you should get a few - five years out of them.
Personally I never encountered smelly feet.
      Hope that helps.

Are the new sprint trekker boots meant for the winter months, fall/spring or just year round? Came across the low variant but couldn't find any info on wether they were intended as winter shoes or not

I believe I have a pair of those though just checked on the shoe and it doesn’t say but checking online it seems they are what you’re describing. The backs are lower than the ones in my video. I have worn them in the winter and they are great. They are warm so when the weather improves they are a little hot. Waterproof to a point like the ones in my video. Hope that helps?
Mine have neon green soles, neon green black laces and neon green inners.

@@experiment54 no worries man, just wanted to know wether they were suitable for winter use or not.
