Liftoff from pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, at 1:48 a.m. PDT (4:48 a.m. EDT, 0848 UTC). The first-stage booster, B1081, making its 9th flight, will land on the drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' a little more than eight minutes into the flight.

When nobody else reuses orbit class rockets, it was hard to see if only for a very short time SpaceX grounded for the loss on landing of a 23 mission veteran. So happy to see them flying again. I think NASA and some crewmembers of the the ISS had a severe pucker time when the FAA grounded Falcon 9.
That was a great launch thank you for sharing it live. Here in Ontario Cali it was a great view with my kids
Got to watch it in San Diego as it traversed over the Pacific headed over Mexico just a few minutes ago.
I've been watching rocket launches since the Mecury series. What SpaceX has done, is another step in incredible.
Poor Will is thinking "Are they going to have a daytime launch ever again?" 😴😉
I missed the launch, I dozed off due to the time difference... but it's okay, it was a success, and that's the most important thing. Congratulations to the great team. 🔥🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀👏👏👏👏👏👏🌟❤️❤️💫
Back from failure just 2 days later with fire and vengeance
So glad their getting the "direct to cell"s up there!
Good job SpaceX,
A rare landing failure of a fleet leader, a mishap investigation and a grounding then a return to flight with a doubleheader. All within 72 hours. 👏
Most efficient company ever. So cool
You guys make it look easy. But, I know it isn't. Amazing work!
Lest go SpaceX, fly fly Falcon 9
I love watching these launches! Thank you for explaining, and amazing work from all who make these things fly ❤
Thank you for your coverage!
We drove to Morro Bay yesterday and they cleared the launches en route. Totally missed my chance. Ugh!
St. George, Ut. Hoping to see it from here. Seen them at dusk before.
great coverage thank you. can you equalize the audio just a little, spacex audio is so quiet.
As overcast as it has been in HB don’t think I would have seen it. In consideration of moving to Florida, being near Cape Canaveral is one of my considerations just so I can watch things take off. But I thought I heard Elon is planning on moving them to the west coast or at least the landings of the boosters.
How many "direct to cell" satellites are up now and what total will there be?
Thanks for sharing an amazing experience . This always brings hope to my day! Focus and dedication from the SpaceX team making the difficult look easy. Fun as I check my Dick Tracey watch for the time 😮
Pretty cool man.
Vista, CA
Weren't the Falcon 9s grounded?
Yes they were, and now they're not. SpaceX gets stuff done fast.
29:50 3 seconds to launch
I felt a little more Nail Biting in my system that time on landing.
The rocket took off already?
When will we get video?
What happens to the satellite second stage now
How many are up and how many total going up of those?
so is it launching in 26 min? or 148 am?
Ahoy?
Hello ,on holiday in south beach Miami ,will I be able to see the rocket at any point ? (Flying ) I’m British so not sure on distance etc hahaha
Well, of course you are posting well after the launch happened but, no. Vandenberg Space Force Base is 3000 miles (5000 km) west of you. You could not have seen the launch from Miami.
@@odysseusrex5908 ahh…and yes I realised after I read the comments !
Silly me 😂😂
@@Just-Dave- LOL. Well, you certainly wouldn't be the first person seriously to underestimate the size of this country. I remember reading once about some people who thought they could drive from New York City to Denver in a few hours. They had to rearrange their itinerary.
Of course, SpaceX had a busy night. They had launched another rocket just an hour before this one, from Cape Canaveral. You could have seen that one.
