@@somelatinguy5636 the warp star travels MFTL++ distances daily, once it even traveled across 8 galaxies in a few seconds and it can move inside another dimension, a world that literally transcends space and time, giving it immeasurable speed saying that just because kirby doesn't do it daily means he can't summon the warpstar all the time is like saying frieza blowing up the planet is an outlier because he never does it again, you make no sense, its called game mechanics
Kind of helps that since this came out, Kirby has beaten an A.I. controlled corporate office the size of a planet, an eldritch god and a psychic biological lifeform that can pull entire planets through dimensional gates just by ramming it with a semitruck. Not that Buu hasn't gotten stronger himself but his new feats are few and far between because Super kept writing him out of the story so much.

I'm sure someone has said this already, but Nintendo is definitely aware of this power distinction, as Kirby was canonically the one Nintendo multiverse character to survive the apocalypse at the beginning of the Smash Bros Ultimate campaign and begin the retaliatory fight.
smash isn’t Canon, previous game make clear that take place in a kids imagination playing with toys. and realistcally he wouldn’t have surived blast as warp star never shown to travel ahead in time, realsically Bowser and ganon and mario would live due to them having actual canon ablites to time travel/travel to a differnt dimesion

A detail that they didn't mention in the bio that I'm happy they included in the battle is that Kirby doesn't just copy abilities, he becomes an instant expert at whatever ability he gains. So he knows how to use the sword more expertly than Buu
@@justjames4 Despite having absorbed Piccolo specifically for his intellect, he does fail to remember Gotenks' time limit. That definitely is a point against Majin Buu knowing how to properly use the powers he absorbs.
@@justjames4 I mean, he does pick up a sword and is immediately able to beat Meta Knight, who leads a personal army and who defeats Galacta Knight. And Meta Knight specifically wishes to fight the greatest warrior in the galaxy. So Kirby definitely has a full understanding and mastery of his powers with his Copy ability.
It's funny, when this battle came out nobody compared these two characters. Originally this was going to be Kirby vs the Pokémon ditto, but after they studied Kirby they realized that it wouldn't be fair, so they looked for someone more powerful than Ditto who also had a lot in common with Kirby and they came across Majin Buu (smart idea as they are both pink, fat, love to eat, and absorbs living things), and yeah they did have a lot in common. When they posted this fight, the Kirby/Nintendo fans and the DBZ fans started to argue about the results. So other than ending a debate, they literally started one. Though it seems that it's died out and nobody disagrees with it anymore

Kirby... Some people argue that Kirby is a re-incarnation of an ancient dark god. Kirby has been able to have his being split in four, permanently, almost completely disregarding it. He was split in ten by a malevolent dark god, and shrugged it off. Kirby has the ability to consume and reflect almost any power, even the fabric of space-time itself. How could Buu beat this...this horror? This abomination? He cannot. It is fact.
Nothing and I mean nothing can stop Kirby for one simple reason: I don't think it's possible for Kirby to die. I think it is quite literally physically impossible to just destroy Kirby. It doesn't matter what it takes, eventually Kirby will kill you

What ever standards you use to scale Kirby (IE, using the statements that scale him to being able to beat multiverse busting entities.), if you use the same standards for Buu, he outscales Kirby every time (IE, using those same standards, Buu is to 4 levels above multiversal, on a conservative estimate.).

You can buy the Multi - outer Super Buu arguments but then that makes Goku boundless by the time he reaches Beerus since Beerus is above Base (fat) Buu in terms of strength. We don’t use Kid Buu because of the god energy being handed over to Uub when Kid Buu died. That would also make characters like Granolah and Moro Boundless+ which just isn’t the case even with Granolah wishing to be the strongest in the universe. I dismiss the Outer Buu arguments because they all stem on DB and The Macrocosm holding infinite spaces and infinite areas (Heaven, Hell, the space in the middle where the people n Dinos live) and all that. However, this has been contradicted by The Super Exciting Guide, an exact excerpt is this: "Galaxy A gathering of local planets in the universe. Planets gather and form a nebula, and beyond that, a collection of gathered nebulae is called a galaxy. The four Kaiou who rule over the east, west, south, and north [sections] of the universe actually govern these galaxies. Because the Kami in the Heavenly Realm and the Kaiou supervise the galaxies that exist infinitely in all the universe, the sections known as the East, West, South, and North Galaxies are denominations that came into use through their duty.") which contradicts the “infinite Universe 7” claim

If you take statements completely literally, then second form Frieza is infinite multiversal in power, and Buu is multiple transcendental levels above boundless (I know its nonsensical, but dimensional tiering is nonsensical to begin with, so take that as you will), and things beyond that are just scaling wildly. Yes, the scaling is wierd, and its nonsense, especially of late. But the scaling is still what it is. How does that contradict the infinite universe 7 claim? They each oversee 1/4 of an infinite sized universe. All that means is that each of their "quadrants" is infinite in size. Especially when you consider that, when taking everything completely literally, there are many levels of infinite being stacked on top of levels of infinite, and even levels of transcending dimensionality stacking on top of each other, that is a much more grounded claim than not. Furthermore, even if it did contradict it, why would the claim of this one guide counter the claims of multiple other guides (IE, multiple entries in Diazenshuu)?
Never forget, kirby is canonically the interdimensional embodiment of positive energy in his franchise, surely also of the whole nintendo multiverse. And he is just a kid, like literally, if he was a human he would be like 10 years old or younger. And worst of all, we haven't seen his purest and most powerful form yet, only the hypernova ability could be "comparable"

@@kwekuafriyiegyekye5612 According to the anime that is correct, however the anime and games both have different rules for their universes as well as a completly different set of events, for example: In right back at ya, Nightmare runs an evil company selling monsters to different buyers, and the star rod is connected to kirby via the warp star. In the games Nightmare is more like an evil spirit that was sealed in the dream fountain using the star rod, which by the writing on void termina, is hinted to be a much older artifact.

I love how people bring Buu's absorption as an excuse for his "win". Not only would Kirby easily react and dodge but Kirby would counter it with his Inhale technique and could even copy Buu's powers by inhaling any of his remains lol🤣
Kirby has resistance of Buu Absorption ability himself we're Completely show in the game itself and Absorption Buu is Pointless if he did used to Kirby and Kirby would just inhaling to that and copy his own ability

Kirby's punch doesn't just crack a planet in half, it cracks a planet made of stuff tough enough not to collapse into a spheroid under its own gravity in half (which is probably why it got barely scratched by the smaller Planet Burst when it would have blown up the Earth). I just noticed, but the begining of the fight is delightfully ironic- many kirby games start with kirby's food being taken or misplaced and he just stumbles onto the big evil plot along the way, It is completely unclear how much he understands of the world, to universe threatening forces he faces, or cares about, he just wants to find out where his cake went- yet this fight started with the reverse, he stole someone elses food, gainign the animosity of a world ending force

Kirby is unlikely to become stronger by aging. The amount of power a life-form gets from growing from a kid to and adult is nothing compared to superpowers, in terms of how things work naturally. Your idea would need to be mentioned in Kirby's series for it to work.

Kirby wins even harder now, he doesn’t need to worry about damage removing his power ups anymore. Plus, he can now just pocket healing and damage boosting items (as well as evolved copy abilities) just in case he needs them.
Thats assuming he ever won in the first place, which he wouldn't. People often drastically underestimate just how powerful DB characters are. The only real way Kirby stands a chance, is if you use inconsistent standards between the two of them.

RoninShockd Vegeta at his first appearance could destroy the Earth, that puts the saiyan, at least, at the same level of Kirby. Majin Buu is leagues above Vegeta *Buu Saga*, so Kirby should not win this fight.
7 years later… Kirby can 1. Redirect a meteor with a baseball bat and send it flying 10000 light years away while also having it collide with multiple planet. 2. Is smart enough to manage technology that he’s never seen before in his life with the Robobot armor. 3. Can swallow a whole big rig truck and drive it with it in his mouth.
Also achieved arguably his greatest feat yet, having defeated Chaos Elfilis - a god level being, powerful enough to not only escape being absorbed by the Butterfly of Paradise (whom has previously easily overpowered the strongest warrior in the galaxy) but also absorb some of its power... Without relying on any super weapon. The strongest possible weapon at his arsenal was Morpho Knight's Sword, and as established Chaos Elfilis was able to overpower the real deal.

Void exists in all dimensions, each of which can constitute its own multiverse sustaining a cosmos, a mirrored cosmos, and even other planes of existence like the Hyper Zone. Dragon Ball is a substantially smaller multiverse, even taking Xenoverse into account. And since Kirby was able to defeat a being said to exist in, and threaten all of these seemingly endless dimensions, Kirby's true, unbound power is nigh impossible to put a number on.

I remember back in 2014 when I was thinking "Man, Dragon Ball is crazy powerful! How's Kirby gonna handle this?" Then I watched the episode, and learned for the very first time how _crazy_ Kirby can really be. And both series have only gotten crazier.
I was really young when I watched this with my dad (he allowed a lot) and I cheered for Kirby the whole time. And I saw the first episode of the anime and knew he didn’t kill all those sheep so that part isn’t even accurate. I’m so happy Kirby won.

@@jadebayoba7073 So, we are going off of the standard of taking statements literally? Ok, lets do that then. Buu is an immortal, multiple levels transcending beyond infinite (at least. I may get to that later, depending on how far into wank territory we decide to go with Kirby.) magical being, that can regenerate from any damage done to him. Buu has survived and regenerated from having his entire body disintegrated down to subatomic levels, and even when he was a direct threat to a being that was powerful enough to casually overpower him AND erase him from existence, their best option was still the band-ade fix of sealing him away. Ok, lets say that Kirby can just resurrect himself with another life (and its not just game mechanic). All this does is leave them at a stalemate (almost.). Kirby would have no way of killing Buu, I know you probably have an issue with that, but again, we are keeping consistent standards, so even a being massively more powerful than Buu couldn't actually kill him. On the other hand, Buu would have no way of killing Kirby either. However, Buu doesn't need to kill Kirby. Absorption ends the fight, period. At absolute worst for Buu, Kirby's innocence causes him to take on a "fat Buu" esc form, but its still Buu taking the win. Again, keeping standards consistent, Heaven is already directly stated to transcend space and time (at least. It can be interpreted far greater.), and Buu was not only able to move in that dimension, but was capable of moving and was a threat to the Kaioshin realm. This is important because Hell is transcendentally larger than Heaven (heaven is directly stated to be infinite, but Hell is stated to be larger, which means it has to transcendental), Yemma's realm is described in a way that it has to be transcendental to hell, the realm of the kais is then stated to transcend Yemma's realm, outerspace (not space within the living universe, but in the macrocosm) holds all of the previous realms while simultaneously keeping them separate meaning it has to be transcendental to all of the previous ones, finally we have the Kaioshin Ream which is directly stated to be outside and transcendentally above the rest of the macrocosm. The point here is, Kirby is not impressive compared to Buu, when you keep standards consistent. Buu is literally 5 levels transcendent to Kirby's "transcends space and time" claim. Lets cover the inhale. Lets pretend for a second that Kirby's inhale is actually potent enough to overpower Buu. Buu has instantaneous movement (effectively teleportation), so he can escape it at any moment he chooses. Lets further pretend like Buu chooses to not escape it for some reason, and gets eaten. He has literally escaped from a prison that was a completely sealed off alternate dimension. He would literally just rip open a hole in reality, and come back into the normal world. And that is best case scenario for Kirby. Worst case is that Buu gets pissed, and collapses dimensions together, effectively imploding Kirby's stomach. Maybe he would survive his stomach dimension being destroyed. But if he did, 90% of his power set gets shut down, because consuming things is how he gets access to his copy abilities and whatnot. As I said above, even if we take the game mechanic literally and say that he can always just come back with extra lives, Buu still has an answer. Absorption doesn't kill, so it wouldn't activate any of Kirby's "anti death" abilites, it leaves him in an comatose like state, meaning he can't physically try anything in order to escape, and on the off chance that he has some wonky thing that actually gets through, it still doesn't matter because Buu will have all of his power + all of Kirby's power (not like Kirby who gets one specific power. Buu gets everything.), meaning it would be child's play to nullify whatever attempt Kirby makes. I appreciate your final rundown, but it is based on faulty information. Essentially you used very high standards for Kirby, but you did not match to those standards for Buu. When you use consistent standards, Kirby is outclassed. Its only when you use high standards for Kirby, and low standards for Buu that it looks like Kirby stands a chance.

If they were to bring Kirby back into DB, they’d have to account for new copy abilities like Poison from Planet Robobot (which is harmful to every life form ((as per its description I believe)), the Friend Heart and fusion abilities from Star Allies, and Mouthful Mode and evolved Copy Abilities from Forgotten Land. And that’s just main series.
If a Kirby of the Stars character were multiverse level, it would be Magolor, who Kirby already fought. Though there wasn't enough proof of him being that rank at the time of this video, so whatever. Just know that Void has no feats of being that strong without scaling.

I don't know why. It's not like much changed from the newly added games. Kirby having the Friend Heart and having more Warp Star speed feats are the only two things I can think of.

Yeah, Majin Buu is nothing new to Kirby. He deals with beings hilariously stronger that Buu on the regular. Kirby just annihilates him and then goes back to sleep. Buu’s not even a challenge for Kirby, just a minor inconvenience.

Some people say that Majin Buu was downplayed, yet they go off of the way Kirby was portrayed in this episode of Death Battle. *Both* characters weren't described as their best in this video.
Kirby kind of falls into the catagory of a toon character, where their feats in their worlds are sort of just for laughs but when applied to other worlds are reality shattering.

Kirby's high capabilities have little to do with cartoon physics, since pretty much the only toon force abilities Kirby has is being able to recover from being crushed flat. @@Murr248 although creative mode Steve would not be fair at all, and for the infinite respawning argument, well, he’s not the only one who can do that, that’s something a lot of VG characters can do, one way or another. Steves way of respawning back in the world is unique, but cannot be attributed as an ability of Steve, but more to the game. We know this, because Steve can’t respawn in Hardcore mode, which would honestly be the only “version” of Steve that would be realistic in DB. And don’t get me wrong, I love Minecraft, but Steve then doesn’t stand a chance at all against those two. Also, even in creative mode, he still doesn’t stand a chance, at least against Kirby (idk never played DOOM). Even in creative mode, while not using cheats or mods, Steve is way too slow to do anything, and Steve also can’t hurt Kirby at all, while Kirby can still presumably inhale him (sending him to a separate dimension, similar to how Steve in Creative still can go to the Nether or End). Also, Steve can still die in creative mode (digging through bedrock in the overworld/falling in the end). Kirby would stomp him.

Kind of helps that since this came out, Kirby has beaten an A.I. controlled corporate office the size of a planet, an eldritch god and a psychic biological lifeform that can pull entire planets through dimensional gates just by ramming it with a semitruck. It's funny, when this battle came out nobody compared these two characters. Originally this was going to be Kirby vs the Pokémon ditto, but after they studied Kirby they realized that it wouldn't be fair, so they looked for someone more powerful than Ditto who also had a lot in common with Kirby and they came across Majin Buu (smart idea as they are both pink, fat, love to eat, and absorbs living things), and yeah they did have a lot in common. When they posted this fight, the Kirby/Nintendo fans and the DBZ fans started to argue about the results. So other than ending a debate, they literally started one. Though it seems that it's died out and nobody disagrees with it anymore

What ever standards you use to scale Kirby (IE, using the statements that scale him to being able to beat multiverse busting entities.), if you use the same standards for Buu, he outscales Kirby every time (IE, using those same standards, Buu is to 4 levels above multiversal, on a conservative estimate.).

You can buy the Multi - outer Super Buu arguments but then that makes Goku boundless by the time he reaches Beerus since Beerus is above Base (fat) Buu in terms of strength. We don’t use Kid Buu because of the god energy being handed over to Uub when Kid Buu died. That would also make characters like Granolah and Moro Boundless+ which just isn’t the case even with Granolah wishing to be the strongest in the universe.
I dismiss the Outer Buu arguments because they all stem on DB and The Macrocosm holding infinite spaces and infinite areas (Heaven, Hell, the space in the middle where the people n Dinos live) and all that. However, this has been contradicted by The Super Exciting Guide, an exact excerpt is this: "Galaxy

If you take statements completely literally, then second form Frieza is infinite multiversal in power, and Buu is multiple transcendental levels above boundless (I know its nonsensical, but dimensional tiering is nonsensical to begin with, so take that as you will), and things beyond that are just scaling wildly. Yes, the scaling is wierd, and its nonsense, especially of late. But the scaling is still what it is.
How does that contradict the infinite universe 7 claim? They each oversee 1/4 of an infinite sized universe. All that means is that each of their "quadrants" is infinite in size. Especially when you consider that, when taking everything completely literally, there are many levels of infinite being stacked on top of levels of infinite, and even levels of transcending dimensionality stacking on top of each other, that is a much more grounded claim than not. Furthermore, even if it did contradict it, why would the claim of this one guide counter the claims of multiple other guides (IE, multiple entries in Diazenshuu)?

In the games Nightmare is more like an evil spirit that was sealed in the dream fountain using the star rod, which by the writing on void termina, is hinted to be a much older artifact.

Having played more Kirby games since this came out, I appreciate the references even more now.
I just noticed, but the begining of the fight is delightfully ironic- many kirby games start with kirby's food being taken or misplaced and he just stumbles onto the big evil plot along the way, It is completely unclear how much he understands of the world, to universe threatening forces he faces, or cares about, he just wants to find out where his cake went- yet this fight started with the reverse, he stole someone elses food, gainign the animosity of a world ending force

Kirby wins even harder now, he doesn’t need to worry about damage removing his power ups anymore. Plus, he can now just pocket healing and damage boosting items (as well as evolved copy abilities) just in case he needs them.
Thats assuming he ever won in the first place, which he wouldn't. People often drastically underestimate just how powerful DB characters are. The only real way Kirby stands a chance, is if you use inconsistent standards between the two of them.

Also achieved arguably his greatest feat yet, having defeated Chaos Elfilis - a god level being, powerful enough to not only escape being absorbed by the Butterfly of Paradise (whom has previously easily overpowered the strongest warrior in the galaxy) but also absorb some of its power... Without relying on any super weapon. The strongest possible weapon at his arsenal was Morpho Knight's Sword, and as established Chaos Elfilis was able to overpower the real deal.

@@jadebayoba7073 So, we are going off of the standard of taking statements literally? Ok, lets do that then. Buu is an immortal, multiple levels transcending beyond infinite (at least. I may get to that later, depending on how far into wank territory we decide to go with Kirby.) magical being, that can regenerate from any damage done to him. Buu has survived and regenerated from having his entire body disintegrated down to subatomic levels, and even when he was a direct threat to a being that was powerful enough to casually overpower him AND erase him from existence, their best option was still the band-ade fix of sealing him away.
Ok, lets say that Kirby can just resurrect himself with another life (and its not just game mechanic). All this does is leave them at a stalemate (almost.). Kirby would have no way of killing Buu, I know you probably have an issue with that, but again, we are keeping consistent standards, so even a being massively more powerful than Buu couldn't actually kill him. On the other hand, Buu would have no way of killing Kirby either. However, Buu doesn't need to kill Kirby. Absorption ends the fight, period. At absolute worst for Buu, Kirby's innocence causes him to take on a "fat Buu" esc form, but its still Buu taking the win.
Again, keeping standards consistent, Heaven is already directly stated to transcend space and time (at least. It can be interpreted far greater.), and Buu was not only able to move in that dimension, but was capable of moving and was a threat to the Kaioshin realm. This is important because Hell is transcendentally larger than Heaven (heaven is directly stated to be infinite, but Hell is stated to be larger, which means it has to transcendental), Yemma's realm is described in a way that it has to be transcendental to hell, the realm of the kais is then stated to transcend Yemma's realm, outerspace (not space within the living universe, but in the macrocosm) holds all of the previous realms while simultaneously keeping them separate meaning it has to be transcendental to all of the previous ones, finally we have the Kaioshin Ream which is directly stated to be outside and transcendentally above the rest of the macrocosm. The point here is, Kirby is not impressive compared to Buu, when you keep standards consistent. Buu is literally 5 levels transcendent to Kirby's "transcends space and time" claim.
Lets cover the inhale. Lets pretend for a second that Kirby's inhale is actually potent enough to overpower Buu. Buu has instantaneous movement (effectively teleportation), so he can escape it at any moment he chooses. Lets further pretend like Buu chooses to not escape it for some reason, and gets eaten. He has literally escaped from a prison that was a completely sealed off alternate dimension. He would literally just rip open a hole in reality, and come back into the normal world. And that is best case scenario for Kirby. Worst case is that Buu gets pissed, and collapses dimensions together, effectively imploding Kirby's stomach. Maybe he would survive his stomach dimension being destroyed. But if he did, 90% of his power set gets shut down, because consuming things is how he gets access to his copy abilities and whatnot.
As I said above, even if we take the game mechanic literally and say that he can always just come back with extra lives, Buu still has an answer. Absorption doesn't kill, so it wouldn't activate any of Kirby's "anti death" abilites, it leaves him in an comatose like state, meaning he can't physically try anything in order to escape, and on the off chance that he has some wonky thing that actually gets through, it still doesn't matter because Buu will have all of his power + all of Kirby's power (not like Kirby who gets one specific power. Buu gets everything.), meaning it would be child's play to nullify whatever attempt Kirby makes.
I appreciate your final rundown, but it is based on faulty information. Essentially you used very high standards for Kirby, but you did not match to those standards for Buu. When you use consistent standards, Kirby is outclassed. Its only when you use high standards for Kirby, and low standards for Buu that it looks like Kirby stands a chance.

Yeah, Majin Buu is nothing new to Kirby. He deals with beings hilariously stronger that Buu on the regular. Kirby just annihilates him and then goes back to sleep. Buu’s not even a challenge for Kirby, just a minor inconvenience.
The only thing that amazes me with Majin Buu and his masters is they actually never did face a Disney lawsuit as far as I know because of their names.

Some people say that Majin Buu was downplayed, yet they go off of the way Kirby was portrayed in this episode of Death Battle. *Both* characters weren't described as their best in this video.
Kirby kind of falls into the catagory of a toon character, where their feats in their worlds are sort of just for laughs but when applied to other worlds are reality shattering.
@@TheSilverPhoenix100 That's only slightly in the anime, which is not canon. In the Kirby video games, the story often gets serious. Kirby's high capabilities have little to do with cartoon physics, since pretty much the only toon force abilities Kirby has is being able to recover from being crushed flat. He's still a pretty tough character to defeat by many standards though.

2. If Doomguy is the embodiment of Rage, that just makes Kirby’s job easier. Because that’s exactly what the Dark Matter Kirby has to fight is. Kirby has also Fought what is presumably his origin form/creator and won as well, said form was a God that embodies not only rage, but it’s stated to be the perfect form, and the origin of everything. Kirby would be the Yin to Doomguy’s Yang, and if we’re going off of his positivity, he could easily just force Doomslayer into being a friend by throwing a Friend Heart at him, which would possibly change his entire personality.
If you ask me where BOTH meet their match though, it’s Steve. Because Steve has creative mode, and even if he could die, he respawns infinitely and even learns from his past mistakes as shown in the Nether Update trailer
There's also Monika from DDLC who could easily delete their files should she not feel up to fighting whoever her opponent is. Or remove certain other files in order to weaken and humiliate whoever she's fighting
@@Murr248 although creative mode Steve would not be fair at all, and for the infinite respawning argument, well, he’s not the only one who can do that, that’s something a lot of VG characters can do, one way or another. Steves way of respawning back in the world is unique, but cannot be attributed as an ability of Steve, but more to the game. We know this, because Steve can’t respawn in Hardcore mode, which would honestly be the only “version” of Steve that would be realistic in DB. And don’t get me wrong, I love Minecraft, but Steve then doesn’t stand a chance at all against those two. Also, even in creative mode, he still doesn’t stand a chance, at least against Kirby (idk never played DOOM). Even in creative mode, while not using cheats or mods, Steve is way too slow to do anything, and Steve also can’t hurt Kirby at all, while Kirby can still presumably inhale him (sending him to a separate dimension, similar to how Steve in Creative still can go to the Nether or End). Also, Steve can still die in creative mode (digging through bedrock in the overworld/falling in the end). Kirby would stomp him.
