Ralphie actually had tears in his eyes at the end, I don't think he was prepared to get roasted over a spit THIS hard.
What's crazy but sad at the same time is that during this roast Mike made a joke about Ralphie dying in a few months. Turns out that he wasn't far off. RIP big guy. Let's just hope he doesn't fall from heaven because if he does then we're all doomed.

I cant believe Jeff Ross had such kind words about Ralphie's performance. Ralphie got beat down worse than any contestant on the show. Mike had him totally rattled.
I remember when I saw this I legitimately felt bad for Ralphie. He looked like he wanted to cry.

Just watched this episode, and this shit was brutal. Ralphie May got TORE UP. Even the judges were kind of roasting him at the end, and you could tell he was getting pissed off. It was hard to watch, lol.

This was hilarious to watch, but whoever thought it was a good idea to put those non-funny skits in the middle of everything needs to be fired. Not to mention they mess up the stage, which was what most likely caused one of the contestants to slip and have to get stitches for her leg.

Given the place he was in at that stage of his life I don't think he should have agreed to do that show. Its obvious he was affected emotionally.

Highly recommend watching this episode... they choose the weakest jokes of this battle lol... just saw this last night, and Mike DEMOLISHED Ralphie, comedically and emotionally.... every joke just seemed to have hit Ralphie hard, and the joke Mike used as his last/finisher was pure gold.
I laughed alot at the jokes, and felt bad afterwards by just how good the roast was

The only reason Ralphie said they weren't funny was cause he was pissed off, and that's when people usually say how they really feel. I don't know exactly what you're disputing here, there are literally no comments complimenting The Wave. Telling me that Comedy Central isn't getting rid of them is sort of irrelevant to my original comment.
