1:00 If you have items to restore your bonus energy, go for 10, if not go for 5. That's all I can say. I'm saving for Knight Toya and Circus Emu so bonus energy is SUPER HELPFUL.
I seen you in the top 300 near the beginning of the event lol. I love your videos. Big fan.
I thought you can only see until top 100 pos?? Unless you're near that rank too.
@@glistica I was near the rank at the time
1:39 full comboing expert usually gives more points because of the combo, but if you get a high enough combo on master even if you miss after, you’ll get more points
3:45 W song choice
Ooohhh so whatever you can get a higher combo on takes priority ?
@@laoloserr i’m pretty sure the bigger your combo the more points you gain
honestly combo doesn’t matter that much it’s like +11% or something even after 900 combo
@@MooseMoosesMeese oh wow
did some more research on scoring for people who like numbers. combo gives +1% for every 100 combo maxing out at 1000 combo
perfects give 100%
greats give 70%
goods give 50%
bads and misses give nothing
each level in difficulty starting at lvl 6 give +.5% score (ex: bug master gives +13.5% because it’s a lvl 32)
basically expert will usually give slightly more score but not a lot
woah congrats on t200 and oneself ap!! im sure ado will go to ur birthday party :))
Ur invited to the party too 😤😤

BBCF stands for BlazBlue Central Fiction
I actually really like these type of videos, where you just play the game like that. I would actually love to watch a 10-15 minutes long video. Keep up the good work!
Regardless of your rank, otsu!!! Even attempting to get into the t100 requires so much dedication!
2:57 i think bbcf is a game called blaz blue central fiction!
Nice video man! I got t42 in the event and when it comes to tiering you want to play hitorinbo envy on expert to maximize event points! Also the best way to utilize your energy is by using 7-8 on the first 2 days and then using 5 nearing the end of it! (although I RAN OUT of energy and had to use 30k of my crystals to refill😢)Otsu!!
honestly i use either 1 or 2 bonus energy if i have the time because when you go up from that what you get starts to slightly decrease
0:43 I HAVE THE SAME THING LMAO (also right ear)
Hope your ear gets better! Still made t200 🎉 happy dayz
I got t69 in the event and just worked with a server to play a bunch of envy with other members supporting me with filler teams
Everything is possible i think :) good job 😊😊😊
I was gonna be fine with top 20,000 but I played so much I ended up in top 10,000 (as I did with last event) and I was gonna stay there but the last couple of days I didn’t play as much and I fell off and missed top 10,000 by like 1,000 places😭💔 my final ranking was 10,693
Is it necessary to join discord servers to tier in groups? Also can someone explain what "my managers" means? I've seen the profiles of the top 1-3 players in the leaderboard and they all seem to have many managers? Do they handle their account in their stead or it's the discord group they joined?
I don't think I can stomach listening to Melt a thousand times, nor do I have that many bonus energy items... so I can only "seriously tier" one event and only get to top 2000 at most.
on the japanese servers, they prefer finding rooms on twitter but on the global server it kind of is necessary to join discord servers to more easily find people to stay in a room with you for extended periods of playing (and allows for you to more or less guarantee that you’re going to get the songs you want to play which for marathon events is usually hitorinbo envy because it’s so short -> you can play more of it in an hour vs melt which offers more points but is so long)
high tier (top 50 and above) runs often have a lineup of people (called fillers) who play with them not for their own benefit, but for the benefit of the person going for the high rank and use teams with optimal skills to maximize the score and event point output of the person running. these runs have “managers” who facilitate the shifting in/out of fillers and make sure the runner is on track to meeting their tiering goal! due to timezones and how long tierers need to play, a person usually needs several for around the clock (esp true for podium runners who play 24+ hours at the start of the event)
the key to tiering is saving! save crystals, save your items-it’s definitely a long game and most people who are going for a high tier start saving once the event is announced on the jp servers so they have an entire year to prepare (leveling character/group decorations, attribute plants, etc is a key part of this too! esp at higher tiers, you want to have all of the relevant decorations/plants as close to maxed out or maxed out)
this was a lot of words from someone who never comments on youtube videos but i hope you find it helpful LMAO
@@anicka6289 Thank you!! I appreciate the long answer since I'm new to the game and tiering sounds really exhausting to do.... maybe I should just be happy with 4000-5000 ranks?
I wasted 40 small energy drinks only to not end up in 10,000 rank, but I did that when the event was just about to end.... so the key to getting a high tier rank is playing non stop 24/7??? What about sleeping? Should I just leave my device playing on auto? Will it reduce the points I will get?
I can't imagine one person constantly playing the same song for an hour.... how can they stomach listening to it..?!
@@glistica there are a lot of things that determine how easily you can get into a certain tier (character/group/attribute decoration levels which determine talent, event bonus% which can be increased drastically by having characters that align with the gacha corresponding to the event, etc) but yes tiering is very exhausting and can be mentally and sometimes physically exhausting to do… it takes a lot of patience and saving and playing so it’s generally not something i recommend to someone who’s just playing the game casually tbh if this sounds daunting to you don’t feel pressured to try it-what matters is that the miku tap tap game is fun to you not some png of a fancy rank!
if you do decide to tier, t5k is a good place to be! i personally try to stick around t10k since it gives a good reward relative to the effort it takes me to get there, but since your account is new it might be more difficult than a lategame account like mine. as you get more familiar with the game and possibly more attached to its characters, you might make the decision to tier an event and end up in the leaderboard (top 100 and higher), but again don’t feel pressured to tier or anything like that
and to answer the rest of your questions: all-nighters are kind of a requirement at least for the first day or two of the event if you’re aiming for podium or a high top 10 rank (the latter depends on how competitive an event is, i.e. how many people are trying to get the same rank you are) but generally not true for anything below that. last year, i was able to reach top 30 in an event while playing about 6-8 hours per day without all of the filler/manager business i mentioned in my previous comment (but the game itself has changed to the point where i don’t think the same would be as easy to do on an event that’s relatively as competitive as the one i got that rank on ^^’) autoplay does give you less points than if you were to play coop like tierers do but i do remember doing it while i was in class to make sure i was still gaining points
for marathon events, it’s honestly not bad to keep the game on at low volume and listen to something else on a second device/the tv/etc at a normal volume! for cheerful carnival (like this current event, never give up cooking), i personally like the song variety whether i’m tiering or filling so i keep my device at normal volume but i know everyone is different-that being said, i would recommend you to join the official discord for the game and potentially branch out from there :]
@@glisticaok so i had this long answer to your comment but i dont think it sent so like 😭 tldr don’t feel pressured to tier!! especially as a newer account if you do feel like tiering it’s best to save your energy cans and level your character/group/attribute decorations so getting the tier you want is less of an uphill battle (and during tiering/filling most people i know tend to keep the volume of the game low while watching something else on a second device at normal volume)
i think a lot of people who do tier will all agree that (jokingly) tiering is for people who are unwell and not normal about this game because it really has the potential to be a mental and physical (and sometimes financial) drain on the tierer and that’s just not something everyone wants to do. what matters is that you have fun with the miku tap tap game the way YOU want to! if you do decide to go down this road it’s always available to you but i would recommend getting a little further in the game in terms of decoration leveling and teambuilding before you take a serious look at tiering (again, if you do) :]
@@glisticaalso to answer your question some people do autos while they’re showering/sleeping i think but generally for high tiers time to rest/sleep is listed on the schedule that the managers put together which sounds crazy to say but it’s true 😭 if you were wondering autoplay does confer less points than playing coop like tierers tend to do does but i know i’ve used it in the past to gain some points while i was busy
is ur ear ok??? Hope it feels better
Yes ! I’m completely fine now :D ty
3 energy for each is better, it gives you a higher amount overall
Too bad you couldn’t make it. Now for more grinding!
Are you gonna tier this event too?
How does tiering feel like😭😭😭
