If money was not object... deffo have the 51's unfortunately I'm not as lucky as Will and have to count the pennies! I have the pedders plan lined up but waiting to see where my front bar issue is going, might have to find an alternative.
Likewise buddy! The pedders have done well in performance but the small items have unfortunately let them down and soon I’ll need to change them out. I’ll be on the hunt again for some new suspension
Good video, thank you. Here in the U.S., just found out about Pedders...they seem to make good shocks and heavy coil springs for my Wrangler JK, just want a slight lift. Have front and rear steel bumpers, a winch and a full-size spare which makes it heavy, need some components that can handle the extra weight.
what rim/tyre setup is/was Will using here? Did he get 4-5cm lift? I have a stock 2019 Ranger and would like to get the BP-51 so I might as well change the rims and tyres too. Ideally I wouldn't like to chop anything off to fit the tyres.
Hi buddy. He’s running 17’s on a 305 tyre I believe. We had to do some trimming to ensure they articulate correctly. The rim offset is a 0 offset which helped a lot. I’m running the trakryder extremes now and they are a huge improvement over the ones I had in the video 😂😂
They are a Bypass shock with rebound and compression adjustability. They are height adjustable too, so we made enough tolerance to fit the larger tires. The CV angles aren’t extreme enough to warrant a diff drop just yet. As soon as weight is added to the front it will bring the angles back inline
So I’ve been using the Pedders for around 18 months now and was initially happy but as time progressed they have started failing from a cosmetic point of view. A lot of the paint has come off of the springs and the rubber top hat has perished. I would go with BP51’s all day long as they are adjustable and can be serviced/rebuilt if needed.
You can purchase this in many different configurations from a single shock to a full set. But a full set is generally around £2500 - £3000 depending on extras etc
Pedders for my kun26 with +250kg on the front. Winch, steel bumper and snowplow.
Nice job

Are the bp51 mono tube or twin tube tech?
And what was the lift hight after bp51?
Did it need to have a diff drop after the lift?

Does it make any difference (esp P51)in term of comfort/cabin noise compare to stock ? Thank you
That’s a great question and we’re working on a follow up video to cover those burning questions
Thanks for this video. I am at this point now. Pedders or BP51. How long do you use Pedders?

Cheers for the info
Appreciate it. There is a follow up video to this currently in the making
