It's beautiful located in the Mountains of NE Tennessee. The Great Smoky Mountains are about 75 miles away and Knoxville about 100 miles. Interstates 81 and 26 run right through it.
This place is amazing, they have other events there throughout the year. I'm from SW Virginia just across the state line of NE Tennessee, in the Amazing Appalachian Range, in Mocassician Gap the Gateway to the West!
I know (on a map) where you’re at but I’ve not made it up that way yet. Been here for 4 years with plans of slowing down my workload and have been insanely busy instead. I’m hoping to grow my channels so I can work less and explore more!
If you read the marker it is called Exchange Place, because that is where the stagecoaches exchanged horses and people exchanged money, most were heading West and this was just a stop on the route.
The bustling atmosphere of Christmas in the Country sounds incredible I can imagine the excitement and joy in the air
It was pretty cool. Lots of excited kids running around!
I love seeing traditional farming practices preserved at Exchange Place Cotswold sheep are so adorable!
Yes they are!
I cant resist animals, so seeing chickens, pigs, and a sweet donkey must have been a highlight of the event
It sure was!
The actors in period clothing must have really brought the s vibe to life I bet it was like stepping back in time!
It was really cool. I knew there'd be a few, but it was likely close to 50 people!
The Christmas in the Country event seems like the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season I wish I could have been there!
It really was a great kickoff to the Christmas season!
Very cool video 👍
Thanks mate! I appreciate the kind words!
Kingsport seems like a hidden gem when it comes to Christmas celebrations Ill definitely have to visit one day
Put it on your travel list! This whole area has a lot to do... both indoors and out!
