Brent Eviston's course on Udemy is what helped me greatly starting my journey. Learning how to use basic shapes like cylinders, boxes, and ovals to draw anything while learning about 3d space just made everything click for me.
I learned the fundamentals with Brent Eviston, I'm thankful for finding his courses when starting my drawing journey. Overall a great teacher with great methods of learning and great communication. I recommend it a lot to any person who wants to pick Brent's courses. :D Thanks for helping me with my figure drawing, i thought i was a lost cause, but your method of teaching made it work, in the end xD
I'm beginning to forget some fundamentals as this. The reason is that I'm procrastinating, while worrying about my animation practices that I can't do. Guess I have to take a step back and re think about my practices, and how to approach it.
A fundamentals refresher can be good every once in a while. It doesn't have to be weeks and weeks of revisiting core principles, just doing a few studies with a specific aim is good too and can really help. We've got a few playlists here on the channel that can help you brush up on whatever concepts you're feeling rusty on.
I was trying to add shading to my gesture drawings and the result has been terrifying Now I have the guidelines to achieve better shading thanks to this video, thank you ❤
That was great and eye opening, not exaggerating also mind blowing, its the stuff that we feel are missing and couldnt tell, turns out its that simple stuff we underestimate at first that makes up for everything and all the difference. Very good demonstration and insight, love these videos and I am not alone apparently, looking forward for more
There are no exclusive course materials but we have a great artist community with professional critiquers that offer feedback to students that you don't get on most other educational platforms where you just buy access to the videos.
No, this is a course of Brent's that's been sold elsewhere before but it's now being added to Proko, with the community features, critiquers and everything that comes with being on Proko versus websites where you just buy access to the videos.
Yeah! There will be some small differences between digital and traditional like you not using the side of the stylus to draw a thicker mark like you would with a pencil but this doesn't at all stop a person working digitally from participating.
That's a human! You can hear him speaking in the livestream we just did with him today, if you want some proof lol ruclips.net/user/liveQ2aTqC3r1No?si=XmUd8KF1rgcFJtAc

I have a question about the music you use, is it free domain? The only reason I ask is RUclips has been using it in their ads.
Yep! All the music we use is free use besides a couple situations like our course with Marvel where we use their licensed music.
What’s pencil do you use?
Ta chido 😃👍
What pencil are u using ??
Probably he is using Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor. He mostly uses colour pencils. He is my teacher on Udemy. 😂
The pencils are Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor

Why not to do the gesture básic, fluid, linear scheme with shadows instead with only lines?

@@ProkoTV Crazy, the voice sounds so monoton ^^
You don't. They're GESTURES. they should be line dominant and kinetic.
As people who do a lot of gesture drawings, you can do gesture drawings that stay quick studies and others that you polish up.
Up to you.
