Raptors got Mogbo who is looking amazing. I think he is a good long term piece and probably one of the few raps that can actually play good quality D. They won easily, and I was initially super depressed about losing OG.
Raptors wom the trade .... RJ penetrates the floor, can break guys down and is your 2nd 3rd primary ball handler ... why is this guy expecting rj to be a ball stopper or spot up 3 that's not his game... it's OGs game because he's a really good role player ... Barrett has superstar potential, I'd take rj over IQ ... I Q can't play defense either ... guy in the black red had has no idea of what he's talking about .... I'm lost, you guys need to put some respect on rjs name ....
Thank you, everyones been on the their high IQ horse since the trade. RJ is averaging career highs across the board and is AVAILABLE. IQ only played 3 games this season post contract signing. All star him
RJ shoots 40% on C&S 3s. OG was 2-9 from 3 vs Tor, 1-7 tonight vs Atl. He’s had bad shooting games. And, he got cooked by RJ. RJ was the primary defender on OG and he scored 14 pts. Also, do the points scored on RJ vs Scottie. They were identical. You guys really blow this up, and it’s pretty absurd. RJ is having an All Star level season. Other NBA players are noting his play. This is weird. You dudes are casuals. The Asian guy is the only guy who knows ball. OG isn’t even playing great this season in NY. I’m a Knicks fan. He’s had 3 straight games
People are just worried he's gonna stop finding success on his hard drives. He's not a good spot defender and sometimes we forget that having RJ's rugged attacker skills might crack open the offense, but we still want a full team motion offense which means RJ needs to move the ball to cutters if their open and he doesn't do that particularly well yet.
@@dancingbabybins What games are you guys watching? RJ doesn’t hit open cutters and shooters? Seriously do you guys watch the games, or are you just regurgitating old narratives? RJ was in the 80% percentile in isolation defense. He’s actually a good on ball defender. Dudes act like players aren’t supposed to hit a 3 on him. I feel sorry for RJ that he has these agenda driven people who don’t know basketball criticizing him when he’s playing at a really high level.
@shannonferguson3029 you're saying that like RJ doesn't have these moments all the time where he has the ball and he's thinking about his drive so much that the whole offense has to stop moving, because any cutting to the rim will only clog the lane when the guy with the ball isn't looking at making the pass. This is somewhat fine because the 2 guard should be hunting for shots, but I'm saying he is missing some of the early passes and when RJ starts his attack drives to the paint he isn't always sure of where his pg is, and he isn't always ready to dump the ball off to a raptor if he draws a double team. Finally his defensive movement and screen navigation is fine but if he is a 2/3 for this team he has to stand infront of drivers and stare down contact more, he has to battle for his spot harder when the other team is looking to get a size mismatch against him in the paint and he has to swipe at the ball harder as the perimeter helper when he's put In that spot. He's covering space good but he needs to bring the physical element to help this team now more than ever.
@ He doesn’t. He’s been an excellent playmaker. You’re talking in fiction, and not what happens in the games. He hit Dick and others for open 3s continuously the last game that if they made half of the shots they missed off those passes, Tor wins. Scottie hit the shots RJ hooked him up with thru his playmaking. RJ can’t win when you guys don’t watch the games or care to pay attention and credit him. Also, his on ball defense has been very good. Perhaps he can be late on close outs, some of that is not recovering faster from hedging to help his teammates.
How do you possibly talk about this trade and not even mention Mogbo, who may eventually end up being the best player the best two-way player of the three of them!.
@@NoBody-vv7vf based on rookie stats so far Mogbo is statistically better than OG for his rookie season. Mogbo is a more rounded player than OG but let's see how the future unfolds.

It’s not close. The raptors won the trade. OG is not a 42.5 million $$ player. RJ at 26 million is great value and still getting better every day. He might be the most underrated player in the NBA. Mal not even in the league anymore. Like I said b4. Not even close
All true. But Scottie is so smart that he just might gain more recuperating than he would on the court. But wow! Like everyone else, I'm dying to see all the cream on the floor together. There are so many interesting question marks on the team. There's BBQ and then what? What height are all those other emerging young guys capable of?
Shake my head at the Canadian media man.. RJ is playing great as the team's first option with little help. Dick is his second option. They somehow are competitive against the best teams in the league. And here they say RJ can't be a number 1 option in 3 years or that IQ is still better than RJ. Casuals.

Never been an OG fan here in Toronto ppl love him because he's "funny" and quietish and hit a buzzer beater. OG can easily be replicated by someone else. The trick here is which players stay healthy the longest lol OG is an injury risk too. Raps won hand over fist with this trade. Knicks ain't doing jack all.
The RJ Barrett trade might have been the worst trade in Raptors history. OG was a Raptor for life until the Knicks took him away from us and the Raptors replace OG from RJ Barrett. That's a horrible trade. RJ Barrett ain't an OG Anunoby
OG is a luxury Toronto couldn't afford. He was going to free agency and 45 million a year on a team that might win 20 games is ridiculous. We got RJ , IQ and Mogbo for a player that was going to walk and Precious. His agent is the Knicks G.M.s son ffs, no chance he stays in Toronto.
@ RJ alone is better than OG right now. RJ is #30 on the ESPN in season ranking that’s based purely on production…not opinion. OG isn’t even in the top 50.
