Wayne took 3 minutes to hit a shot at the 25minute mark. Don’t watch it. Just trust me you’ll want to pull your eyes out. He had 2 shots to choose from, cut a ball in the corner or a 2 ball combo in the other corner. That’s it ,
I feel you Steve. Alas, CSI who run the events, only have shot clocks on the two Pro TV tables, the remaining 20 Pro tables don't have the manpower / referees to run and enforce the system. These BCA World Pool League Championships are a big deal for league players and there was over $91,000 in prize money paid out to the top 128 finishers just in this Gold Division. The winner gets $13,000, so players generally take more time. CSI did enforce a 2-hour limit on these race--to-five matches, with any unplayed racks replaced by a lag, which happened quite a few times.
It was very clearly a good hit to me and with Brandon’s comment: “I don’t know why the 5 would move” he is implying he thinks it was a bad hit. The 5 was always going to move because it was in the space the cue ball would head towards after striking the left side of the 10.
Thanks for your comment. They were playing for pretty big money & with no shot clock, so players can pretty much take as long as they like. They referees were enforcing a 2-hour limit for the race to 5 matches however. They'd come over a 1hr 45m and issue a warning that at exactly 2 hours, they'd come back and allow the rack in progress to finish, but any other racks still remaining would be settled by lagging.

Good hit at 1:37:10. Wayne just overcut the 10.
