Jason once said that the 91-93 era Metallica was the best the band ever played. I’m old school Cliff era fan so I called bullshit… but he’s right. James voice at his best and they were tight af. Not as brutal or raw but a well-oiled machine.

I was there! That was my second Metallica Concert! Thank you for this! My first one was at the Damaged Justice Tour! Not even one year later was my third one at the Zeppelin-Field in Nuremberg! 20 more followed and in Munich 2024 i will see them for the 24th time. Will always remember the first few ones and Munich 2015 when i was on stage as i had won the on-stage with Metallica contest.

I think the reason they’ve always been so successful is the testosterone level is off the charts which I find extremely attractive and most real men can easily relate to. They’re just like regular guys playing in their garage. Not the talent level of course but the way they dress, act and talk. They never had stage or “celebrity” personas like most bands. Both women and men can appreciate it. Of course they are the best band in the world also!
