You've actually said it all... My 4 year old son love singing and playing drums. So I bought a small one for him to avoid touching my drums. Another thing that can easily tune and help maintaining the life span of the talking drum is sun drying (for just 5-10) everyday. While I played yesterday in my church, even my pastor who's a drummer said "my drum sounded harmoniously well". Well done Ayiki
Thank you sir for that very wonderful teaching. Am an Igbo guy and new to talking drum. I have followed you for some times now and I can see the good move. Thank you so much.
Thank you for this video. Please for some of us that live in a Cold Climate (Uk, usa) where winter season has Little to no sun and it is cold some days.. How do we dry the surface of how drum after we repair the head from a tie . I heard a small heater can help. But I want your suggestion . thank you so much sir.
I can understand... I am also sure you use warmer in the house, you can just hand ur drum on the wall when is warm. don't move it close to the warmer just room temperature is fine. after that always put it in a bag

Awesome video here. What do you do when you're drum has two different type of skin on each heads?
No problem about that, it's just the nature of the skin tide (awo) used. It doesn't have any negative effect so far your talking drum is always tuned
