Hiking At Sterkfontein Heritage Lodge | Hiking Gauteng

We spent the day exploring Sterkfontein Heritage Lodge. The venue is situated in Rant-en-Dal in Krugersdorp Gauteng. The lodge offers a 4.4km hike, with a 3km loop out in case you don’t want to do the entire hike.
This venue is also a Park Run site (which is honestly one of the most scenic and challenging sites around). There is also a Bungee Jump here 🙈🙈.
You are treated to grasslands, rocky terrain and forest terrain. There is a lovely waterfall that makes the hike worth it . The venue is pet friendly so you can bring you dogs with permitted they are kept on a leash .
The hike is challenging in some parts but all fitness levels should be able to do it. There is a lovely restaurant with delicious food .
There is accommodation available at the lodge as well as conference facilities There is also an outdoor pool available to guests staying there.
