Why all hate this Song??? Okey, this is Little much politic but this is beutiful Song! True winner!
Nipa Juko Even if it is _a little_ politic, according to the rules of Eurovision, it should not have been ACCEPTED. Neither have been accepted nor have won. Political contents are forbidden in Eurovision, but in 2016, Eurovision f***ed these rules and let this song win. Actually, it is not THAT bad, but...yeah. You know.
Eurovision song of Italy should have won in my opinion :(
Where is politic in there? She sings about what happened to many people during the war, there is no politics in it
@@lunaros4209 its not political, ITS HISTORICAL SONG, she sings about extermination of her nation (Crimean Tatars)
@@blanco0379 It's the same as if Israel were to send a song about the genocide committed on Jews during World War II - the same period that this song thematizes. It would be an offense against Germany, rigging the result. Of course you could call it "historical", but remember what happened to _Don't deny_ when they were accused of politically offending Turkey because of the genocide during World War I (denying it is a custom in Turkey). They needed to change the title. But a song that obviously says "Russians killed Crimeans", being connected to the Crimean War in 2013-15, was totally ignored by EBU. Just... WTF?
I think that this song is so touching... My Grandmother went to a similar story... I just find myself in this song... And for those who are saying that it's anti-Russian propaganda, I'm half Russian half Ukrainian but I live in Romania by the way, there are not any words related to Russia in this song. And I bet that AT LEAST half of the people hating on this masterpiece booed the Tomalchevy Sisters in 2014, so there.
I forgot to add that I think most of the haters are from Western countries, where you can get everything so easily..
Riiiiiight!!! There was so much hate for them! And now they are hating this beautiful music for the SAME REASON!

Yeah, your opinion...
*majority Nenad Cairovic
Well, you think that~ If you don't accept other opinions, then I'm not even gonna bother talking to you.
I love the song, but the song was originally called Our Crimea/Crimea is Ours. You can't deny that that's throwing a hit at Russia.
This song is so beautiful, touching and I really love it. But in my opinion it's too personal for a competition. I feel like she sings it for herself and I kinda don't want to interrupt while hearing her "cry".
+PsychE There is nothing personal about this propaganda song. Sorry, but i kind of doubt that she was in any way involved in any of the evens of 1944. And if it were her grandparents? Oh, tought luck m8, 70 years ago everyone was involved in some pretty bad stuff.
The only reason Russia lost was Jury dumping it, because she whined for 3 minutes about how evil Russia is.
paranidherc Yes, that's what I think. Long ago people had a bad time everywhere on the world. But anyway, it is personal for her and her family. That's because I don't think whining about the past is OK during such events.
Don't be like that... You know well about Russia do you? Even my friend from Lithuania hates Russia you know~
Unfortunately I am an Asian person so I don't know well about Russia :3
Russia did a lot of wars, and who is Putin? The prime minister?
Is it safe to go to Russia now? :D
Russia did not do war in most Asian countries or really not, idk :D
Love Hate
Russia is a COUNTRY, not a set of politicians. People there go to work, live, die, are normal human beings. Yet they get the hate, because the government doesn't give a fuck about NATO / UN / EU / USA.
The only difference between crimea and USA's invasions is that many people on crimea actually wanted to be part of russia.

Playing games / reading fantasy / sci-fi books worked for me to improve it in one year from barely speaking to fluent^^

Men bu yerde yaşalmadım...
Is it me or is it TOO simillar to turkish?
Ben bu yerde yaşamadım is like rxactly the same!
Yeah It's almost the same :)
+EuroCore oh and 'Yaşlığıma Toyalmadım' is 'Gençliğime Doymadım' (Yaslığım means 'my old age' in turkish while it means 'my young age' in Crimean Tatar) is pretty simillar too. It means 'I did not get enough of my young age'
Ayşe OᘔTOᖇᑌᑎ she is singing in Crimean Tatar which is a turkic language that's why it is so similar. Love this song so much :)
Yaşamadım (Crimean Tatar) = yaşamadım (Turkish)
Yaşalmadım (Crimean Tatar) = yaşayamadım (Turkish)
-al gives the “could” meaning in Crimean Tatar.
12 points from Azerbaijan

WOW!!!
If Ukraine send nightcore version the eurovision they had deserved to won...
Edit: I'm thinking about it and no they didn't had won this year.
Yasligima toyalmadim. Men by yerde yasalmadim.
"I did not lose my life. Men are illegal in this place."
This song is breaking the rules. You're not allowed to sing about war in Eurovision lmao. stilm good though.
You're not supposed to sing about politics. Singing about wars that were long ago is okay.
1944 is just the same as, for example, Waterloo
Andrew McManus This isn't about war. This is about the Story of Jamalas Grandparents!
Wait ist that turkish?
It’s Crimean Tatar, which is closely related to Turkish
gençliğime doyamadım, ben bu yerde yaşayamadım
Where is Azerbaijan?
+Sevinc Agacanova I will do Azerbaijan this weekend :)
Trop drôle le remix !
