I'd not take on the offer, except to drink one little sip. I'd test how my body handles than to to drink it all like asked. It would suck to be uncomfortable or sick whilst exploring other cultural practices because I wasn't careful when trying a drink or food.

@@jeff-f7g if i understood your question correctly you simply use disinfectant. You want to clean the area around it two times a day with a cotton swab and then let it be. It should heal up in two weeks time.
@@jeff-f7g Since alcol and cortisone are vasodilators, they will increase the amount of blood in the area and enlarge even more the cheloid or create new ones. Water and salt instead dry the wound and disinfects. Maybe add lemon or an alcol-free disinfectant
The reason this is the best travel youtuber is because he TRULY TRULY embraces the cultures with an open mind and sees it from their point of view and not judge them from a foreigners point of view. Too many of the other travel vloggers go to 3rd world countries with a closed mind and just bash the cultures.

I stayed in Zimbabwe in 1975 when it was still Rhodesia. There was war and it was terrifying (I was 7 yr old). But I met amazing people, both black and white, and I remember the stunning beauty that made my young imagination soar. It was amazing. The problems since have broken my heart again and again, I'm sad for all sides, the people are resilient to endure what they have endured and still be as happy as they are on your video.

Man my eyes tested up sooo much when I got mine . I’ve had septum , nipples , snake bites , and the side of my nose done . Septum is easily the most painful facial piercing

@@finncinjaere6293 I want a septum too and did my research for a while now. Aparently its extremely painfull if you hit the cartilage while piercing, and the healing can take way longer. But there is a sweet spot in the Nose where there is just a bit of skin between cartilage and bone. A professional piercer knows how to find this spot, so its way less painfull and has a better chance of healing (although it can take up to 6 months regardless). I also learned that while piercing the eyes almost always water. I have gotten cheap mall piercings in my ears before, but i really think for a septum one should spend the money at a professional piercing place. Where I live a piercer will take up to 60-75 Euros for a septum piercing. But i think this is moeny well spent
So lovable how that piercing was handled! I tried that myself once and had to stop, got it done for me later. That really was hard to watch. I had to squirm, squeal and close my eyes tight! I'd have been uncontrollably a Bull!

they have trouble piercing your nose because of your nose's structure, a lot of african noses have little to no cartilage since they dont need to warm the air as they are breathing in (people from colder parts of the world have smaller nostrils to regulate the temperature) I love ur channel, big thanks and well wishes to you and all the incredible people u meet ❣

One of them had to have his leg amputated due to an accident and on the party before where we were celebrating his survival in the hospital room we decided we were going to eat it. It was the weirdest meal of my live because nobody wanted to take the first bite. In the end, the amputee did. I know you watch this channel. If you see this comment, we’re glad you’re still with us.

For anyone wondering, he got something called a septum piercing. I got mine done professionally with a needle, not a sharp thorn. Pain is subjective, but mine was less painful than a nostril piercing and it was pretty quick, lasting less than 2 minutes for the entire process. His probably hurt way more because it took longer for the thorn to pierce his septum.
I’ve spent a lot of time with the Tonga people. I actually got one of those Shisha pipes from one of the old women! I love these people they’re so kind and sweet, especially the old women. I’ll be going back in July but I’m usually on the Zambia side of Lake Kariba. I wish I could share the pic here but it doesn’t give you the option. Safe travels brother.
