    Your Somali is amazing! The pronounciation is actually better than mine, but the pronounciation of some of the letters you can do with a bit of practice other than that, on point!

      There's also "dariiq" (yes, it's from Arabic but Somalis still use it).

    The word macmacaan covers things like chocolate too I think. If it was strictly sweets/candy it would be nacnac. People tend to say macmacaan when they are referring to a variety of snacks like cakes, biscuits, chocolates, candy etc. So if there was a table full of the aforementioned, you would say 'there is a bit of macmacaan on this table'.

    This was another great video! great effort and I'm glad you've taken such an interest in the somali culture. If you continue to learn somali you may want to practice your pronunciation of the 'x', 'c' and 'q' sounds, they are a bit more difficult. ✌🐫

    am going to teach you 2 statements you will appreciate. 1. boqor baad tahay=you are a king. 2. boqorad baad tahay=you are a queen. Boqor is king for man and boqorad is queen for a woman
