I want to switch out my Pentair Intelbrite fixture to something I can screw an LED bulb into. What kind of fixture should I look for? Thanks!

    Great video.
Can an LED bulb be used inside the incandescent light niche instead of the incandescent bulb?
    Thanks

In most cases, yes an LED bulb can replace an incandescent bulb. The majority of the pool light fixtures are large enough for the LED bulb to fit. Most of the LED bulbs will list acceptable light fixtures in the product description.

HI, can you answer a question for me please? I have the hayward colorlogic 4.0 lights 2 of them, one at each end of pool. I have the aquaplus controller , it controls my lights now, in the hayward omniPL instructions it says (If the control is using networked colorlogic lights, the lights must be put into "standalone(default) mode before disconnecting the control). Or do you know if i would have to do this? Been looking everywhere. Oh by the way nice video, thanks for doing this. helped out alot!!

The twelve volt light is NOT DC, as your diagram indicates.

Hi there , i have a 120 volts light on my pool ,now that i have learned that people have gotten electrocuted i am scared to turn on.I had the pool built about 10 years according to code ,city inspector checked the wiring. Can this low voltage (12 volts) still electrocute you if something goes bad .And how bright are this lights? THANK YOU.

Hello Aj Sj - If the 120v light is properly wired, grounded, bonded and on a GFCI, there should be no issues. That being said, having a 12 volt light is even safer. We have not heard of anyone being electrocuted from a 12v light. The 12v LED lights are every bit as bright as the 120v versions. There was some truth, in the past, in regards to 120v incandescent lights being slightly brighter than 12v versions.

Still need a power transformer to use the 12v. Or get a GFCI if you stick with 120v

Linda Byer drain cover, I believe they’re the same size. If all else fails, just place the light over it. Fake it till you make it lol
