As a detailer for over 27 years, I found out early on when it comes to rinsing the soap off of a vehicle, be it a car, truck, and motorcycle, if you use the spray nozzle it will eventually trap soap somewhere on and in the vehicle that you cannot see. I always recommend that you take the nozzle off and let the water cascade starting from the top and let gravity take place. This way it's less water spots, little to no trapped soap, and it will be a lot easier to dry in the end. Built up soap deposits attract dirt . Just my .2¢ .
@@locus1222no you can say 2¢ as two cents cause it's 2 then the percent sign so two then cents you saying the amount you have in cents not dollars if you have 0.02¢ you don't even have one whole cent you have zero point zero two cents
You forgot to oil the brake discs so they don’t squeak, had a buddy that couldn’t even tell his brakes were there after piling them he said they were silent, unfortunately he passed a few days later.
I was watching a Harley guy wash his bike. He had what looked like a gigantic hair dryer. Looked it up and it is a high velocity dryer designed specifically for drying bikes. The Harley guy spent about an hour cleaning his bike. Absolutely gleaming when he took off. Back in about 15 minutes and ready for another wash. Riding in the rain is the washing my bike gets.
If you just rub it first, you can scratch color with the dust particles. First remove dust with lower pressure hose. An advice that painter gave me 🧑🎨
just tip 1. when washing your bike, always scrub the fairings (plastic covers) first, then the engine then lastly the lower side (wheels, swingarm, underbelly) you do them last because mud and dirt mostly sticks to these parts and when you wash them it will mix to your soap and sticks to your brush/sponge, you wont want to have that dirt and soap mix on your plastics 2. towel drying your bike is ok but i dont like it, first its more tiring to wring your towel every time, 2nd it would still leave a little pockets of water specially those in hard to reach area. if you dont have a blower try to ride your bike in your neighborhood (preheat the engine first), just to give your bike fresh air and it would dry those parts, also dries your sweat lol and saves you from tiny scratch your bike get from rubbing dry towel to it
I'm a gsxr owner and I love your videos you keep it real. I take no offense on gsxr riders. I'm a safe rider and keep it real I have kids and people who love me. Keep up the good videos! I support!
I don’t know hot to ride a motorcycle, but I like watching your videos. Even when you used to do cooking tutorials. But I must ask, where can I get that shirt Pare!
I fill mine with salt to absorb all the soap and water then tip the bike upside down and do the same with the brakes and oil lines to remove any moisture
I like this approach, don't give a fuck how you do it just do it, do it regularly and it will stay clean, and also the no brand just pick what you have Awesome :D
You can tell you aren’t a Suzuki guy by the way your arm was shaking trying to hold that bucket of suds. Those suds and the Suzukis too much for ya? 😂😂😂 just playn. I love your content. I am a Kaw rider so…Moo Moo.
I mean, if ur riding a bike like that how dirty does it really get.. Ur defo a good weather rider which is fine but its way more difficult if you ride ur motorcycle every day.
I would have to disagree with you. I saved my chain for last multiple times and all i do is make a mess around it! It's personal preference i guess you might be more skilled than me 😆
@Richard Ahola I always clean my bike first because I feel like, (depending on what kind of soap use) it can alter the performance of whatever wax or oil you put on the chain before cleaning Edit ( I always let the wax stay for about 15-20 minutes before wiping any off) then go for a ride
You shouldn't de-grease your chain. I clean with what the manufacturer recommends, which is kerosene. I also use what DID recommends as a lubricant, which is gear oil applied with an oil dripper. Came across a big jug of synthetic 95-140 for cheap, 4 years ago. I'm still using it. On a 250/300 you can get away with 1500 miles with no issues, 600 class and up should be lubed every 500-800 miles. I like the spray can lubes for long road trips.
Just to cover what many will think, with all lubes, you will have some sling. What I have found is that the Heaviest gear oil is the best, and using as little as possible reduces sling. I was talking with an old timer and he said they use to mix gear lube and assembly lube to increase the moly and zinc content as well as the viscosity. I'm not sure how economical that would be today.
My chain , I always clean it every oil service/change with kerosene. I saturate a cloth with kerosene, wipe it down. Wipe it again with a dry cloth, then lubricant it……easy peazy 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Big mistake to start with a sponge if you have sand on your bike you can scratch you paint. First take a hose and and wash away the sand. And to dry vd a PU towel, it maybe takes longer but it leaves no chalk spots on your bike.
Ignore EVERYTHING he's doing here. Clean your chain with WD-40 Wipe your bike down with a spray detailer everytime before you ride Stay away from water as this will corrode and rust your bike
@Adobo Moto sure, happened to me a few times, but you plan your rides so it doesn't happen. A few times doesn't hurt if you clean your bike quickly. But, if you wash your bike with water, screws, nuts and bolts WILL corrode and rust. Many people don't actually know how to keep their bikes in "showroom condition" for the life of the bike, but it's easy. KEEP away from water
Instructions unclear, ended up lubing my bike chain with eggless mayonnaise.
😂😂
i use KY jelly so you are not too off
Lol. Why would you say eggless mayo and not the regular stuff? That's hilarious.
Awesome Yoke 😂

Apply soap from bottom to top, that way you know which spots you've missed. Rinse top to bottom. Source: worked in sanitation years ago.
Wouldn't that just make you pick up dirt and scratch the top part of the paint?
I need to start using a leaf blower. You never know what little granule might be in that towel, or still on the surface and you didn't see it...

I think the sporty guys just wash it down then go out for a ride. A 200 mph blast of air will dry it in no time.
Great! Now all im missing is a motorcycle😅
I heard GSXR owners don't have to wash their bikes or chains, they come stock with awesomeness and a lifetime luster.
R6 owners are worse
Love it. No nonsense, no product endorsment. Prime
I agree. I like to keep my bike clean, but I’m not spending hours on it. I have too many other things to do. I like your style. Quick and efficient.

Bro, yung last part, EPIC😂😂 paulit ulit ko pinanood hahaha. Only legends will understand👊
Facts. You pretty much did it all I don't even clean my chain. My wash vid is on my channel
Leaf blower is a must . And spray wax. Done!
Whatever soap you want should not be dish soap. The degreasers will take your wax off and subsequently ruin your clear coating.

“Just Say No”… I daily rode a CVR1000RR for a few years (30k+ miles) and never washed it once.
I look at cleaning my bikes like painting my house… I can’t miss a single centimetre and always add a second coat 😁

I just have one question..what do you do for work to keep up with these expensive bikes..? How can you afford it.
Simple green or brake cleaner for the chain?

I use my compressor to dry
Best I can give is a wet towel and a dry towel
What soap should I use? Is dish soap fine?
No, dish, hand and laundry will destroy clear coat on paint. Use carwash soap
S100 for everything. NEVER use hot water. Softens the paint work and makes it scratch really easily. But like you said you don't give a F
Bikes come with built-in leaf blowers! 100 plus and it's dry! This of course is a joke and should not be taken seriously! 😅

To all you ujm guys out there, make sure you have spark plug cap seals. Other wise it won't run. Ask me how I know

Alot of dish soaps etc have salts in that'll mute your paintwork and rust stuff
