This is the ultimate "get stuck in a sound design sphere" toy, no music is ever gonna be producced again. :-) Awesome stuff by Unfiltered Audio, as always.

Haha that's why I pretty much gave up on music production, I have no self control and end up drilling down waaay to deep. Also the reason why I avoid Minecraft- almost painful to think how much time I used to spend messing around with redstone circuits, yet I never actually beat the game lol

At 09:44 add a kick drum and with some tweaks you have a dance track with a selfmade sound. And WOW, I like what the S. Rate knob does.

Great demo, and amazing sounding plugin. Can't believe all the things you can do so quickly

You should try the Comb filter as a delay. You can get some cool results.

It is my favorite among plugins I recently bought!
It is useful to add a dice in the header of each module of Byome.
And if patching can be randomized, it is wonderful!
    Thanks!

Steve must have worked as a flight attendant at some point. I keep waiting for "We thank you for choosing British Airways and wish you a nice flight"

Yep, but flight attendants probably don't use that much "ehm"s (~61 counted in this clip) :D

Nice! What's the trick to detaching the patch cords from the modulators?

    • @TheThrillseekersofficial
      @TheThrillseekersofficial 6 лет назад +3

Jamey Scott just click and drag it way. Can be a bit fiddly to catch the right spot

    • @jameyscott4188

Thanks. Of course, I tried that but it kept pulling new wires from inside the circle. Now I see that if you select it just outside the circle you can pull it off. Weird UI design choice, but once you know it, you know it.

@@jameyscott4188 Yeah, it's one of the weaker parts of the UX. The design I want to implement is to have smart cables so when you hover over a port they will smoothly fan themselves out around it, making it easier to pick an individual one. There would also be a hover so you'd know what you were clicking. I think it's the right design I just haven't had a chance to code it up. Planning on it for the next one hopefully and then we can roll that back into the others through updates.

Hi Joshua! Thanks for engaging with your users; I appreciate the direct insight. I hope my comment didn't seem too critical of your UI, as it totally makes sense once you know it. I think your idea of a "smart cable" is a good one. The plugin is really great for us sound designers.... I've been talking it up to my design buds around here in Hollywood.

@@jameyscott4188 Thanks! Nah, I really appreciate the feedback which is why I'm always scanning for user comments. Very useful and not overly critical at all. I'm also responding as a way to remind myself to actually get in there and make the fix >_

This is really cool but i thought this was gonna be something different.. I can already do all this in Ableton with Max4Live just simply using Lfo .. and whatever Module i need and create effetcs Racks all with sends /dry/ wet knobs ..Still its pretty neat .. have to say that ..almost got my money

Six minutes into this and the only audio examples are taking a single high-hat beat and making it sound like a creaking door. Not a compelling intro to the product
