Hello John, Thank you for mentioning ImPPG! A bit of advice regarding L-R deconvolution: I recommend using a small selection first (maybe also temporarily stretching the histogram for better visibility) and fine-tuning the "sigma" parameter via the slider. For small selections the changes will be applied in real time, so you can clearly see when the image features become bloated (i.e., the sigma is getting too large). (For touching up with unsharp masking one can operate on the whole image from the start, as this is a much faster operation.)
Excellent instructional video, like the sandwich bag flat frame that got rid of my mystery white dots that occur with one 174 camera but not another QHY163M . Not sure what they are don't turn with the 174 camera and not visible in the 163 ? Mystery ! Scope is a Lunt LS80T SS.
Fantastic overview and practical demonstration to someone new to solar imaging. The Affinity Photo flow was most welcome as well. Thank you.
This by far is the best tutorial on solar imaging that I have come across ! Thankj you ! Will look forward to more of these !
Very good tutorial. Thank you
This is a great video. I’m shortly going to be getting into this. Your video is very helpful!
This is the best overall presentation on solar imaging ever!
Wow, thank you 😊

I also use an EQ6R-pro mount. It was horrifically expensive but well worth it. DSO are now cakewalk because of it.

Thank you for the feedback and for this great software.

1:00:00 - Adjusting curves, eh? The last guy who tried "adjusting" mine 😲 got a right old slapping. 🤭
Hi John, can you specify where you've got the "clocking" adapter from? Is it possible to buy it or you custom made it? Thanks
Here is the link to where I purchased the adaptor
