There is a chance that Your Donkey is acting strange because it's bored and doesn't know what to do. This can be caused by Loneliness Which brings sadness. I would say you should get your donkey a friend that can play like he plays. A dog is OK for a friend but it still isn't like a Donkey, horse, or other bigger animals like it. I would suggest getting him a friend to keep it company! :) If you can't get Him a friend I would also suggest some toys!! best of luck with Empire!!
( if you get him a toy I would suggest a big ball that has the fabric outer layer for him to pick it up easily )

Roman, I see that the water in that pond is very dirty! Have you considered putting some Grass Carp in there, the fish will eat any rotting vegetation or food in the the bottom of the pond, and will improve the water quality.
