QQ Extra 300: ESSENTIAL RC FLIGHT TEST (HobbyPlastic.CO.UK)
Built super light with it's internal plywood sub-frame covered in an EPO foam airframe. We loved this! Does rolling harriers like no other plane we've flown but is great at all the other 3D aerobatics you can think of.

I know you’ve tested the FMS/Roc MXS as well. What would you suggest is the better plane? I’m fairly new to 3D and I want to practice 3D in a football pitch sized area to teach myself control in manoeuvres, so I need something that’s light and fairly floaty, but not one of the EPP trainers. Thanks

What kind a (mah & S) lipo was that? It looked quite big..

Hi Dom , i am wondering if you can use the Hitech Aurora 9 radio with this giro and also wondered if you now if this giro is available to buy separately to use in your own air frames , many thanks , Scott ........

Aurora 9 will work with the gyro. If you look in page 7 of the manual here (www.resources.flexinnovations.com/files/FPR3070_qq_extra_super_pnp_english_final.pdf) you will have to connect the individual control surface outputs from the RX into the gyro except for throttle which just goes from RX to ESC. And yes, the gyro is also available separately here (www.macgregor.co.uk/flex/flex009.htm) Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

What size packs are you running and what flight times are you getting out of it?

+AtomicFrawg 3S2200. Get about 5 to 6 mins. ESC cuts very quickly without warning. Keep hovering to first half of your flight. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

+Essential RC I fly mine on 2200mah 65C Thor and only getting 3.5 mins. I fly on 3D mode only the entire flight. Its a great airplane for sure, I just need more flight time.

No, it means that it flies more stable with wind, and keep better heading

Visionaire V2?? Same creator for sure, looks like a better design too... :)

+rotormasher Having seen a Visionaire up close I don't actually think they look that similar. This is far more Extra 300 shape than the Visionaire. Visionaire flies very well but if you prefer something with a more scale shape then this is the thing to go for. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
