This is bloody impressive; good find. Going to use it a lot I suspect. Absolutely insane it got that out of your prompt. Honestly I'm thinking just get the docs and slap them into Cursor for the actual project.
Thanks:) and ya hopefully they can continue developing this out more, pretty cool concept. But ya if you start with this, and optimize in Cursor could be good, especially when they support more frameworks.
I think I prefer the philosophy of Github Spark, where you start with a vague idea of what you want and you iterate multiple times until you reach the desired product. The approach of Cofounder I think is more oriented to the traditional waterfall model. We'll see
Ya will be interesting to see which models are the best as things progress more, but I see what you mean. I think both have pros and cons depending on the use case and your coding style/abilities
Yes, I guess in the end one may switch between the approaches. Start with vague idea and iterate then once you have the complete idea build that in a comprehensive tool that gives you all the docs too.
Very cool! It's very aligned with how I like to build out my projects. I will follow how it develops closely, especially in terms of supported meta frameworks like Next.js, Remix, Astro, etc.
I think once this has some more integrations with like researcher agents, and like you said with nextjs etc, will be very powerful. The guy that made it has another open source repo called "knowledge" which im just messing around with now. Hopefully he keeps building on these tools. If not, somebody should! 🙂
Did anyone hit their daily limit with tokens?! I shit you not it happened to me. Thanks for the vid and quick tutorial. This is a game changer. Once I get the api limit sorted out, back to creating...
Yeah I just hit my daily tokens after trying once and getting it stalled out, resetting my main app which was stupid of me loool and then starting again only to get half way and it maxed out
@@joshfpocock i got partuially there - but the loop for errors and following the plan is really hard. i think it wil need human in loop for a while yet. but it's just a matter of time
thanks for the tons of value but mine isn't opening the localhost, after debugging the installation, finally got it to work but it just installed and stopped right there. Solutions please
I will like to ask, this API keys, are they working for free or we need to have subscription plan on them for it to work. 2: Since we can use openRouter Api key and it will allow us to access all the other LLMs for free, is there a possible way to use openRouter with project?
Could be interesting, I'm slightly worried that it seems quite waterfall, hopefully all the requirements and design docs can change iteratively throughout the project or we'll end up with it generating enterprise Java garbage 😂

Exactly what I thought

In the technical world I still find it funny that barely anyone can say authentication properly, it's always authentification :)

Wow! that was very shocking. Thank for the video Josh, I really dig your channel.
Thanks Daylan! Appreciate your support:)
Huge value in this video. Thank you so much for creating this!
Thank you for watching! :)
This for sure looks like it does a better job than Cline or Aider, there is structure here and functionality ! Looks come later... Great content !
This tool will smash competition!! The current chat model is not suitable any longer
That is awesome. I hope to see more from Cofounder AI. :D
Me too! So cool:)
This is what Pythagora / GPT copilot want to be

I've been messing about with this kind of thing. It's quite hard! Ths thing looks sick
Same here! Ya having the Ai handle the entire thing blew me away

Great project I need to check it,I'm still using cline vs code, thanks for sharing this
Thanks for watching! :)
Does everything we do on it gets stored on the the database of the person/group that created this application or is there anyway we can access it?
Last commit 28 days ago? Whats up with that? Dead already?
Ya I think since it’s in Alpha, hopefully it picks up soon
A youtuber make local version for it, make it more flexible with more capabilities
@@ibrahims5636Hi, can you share the link, I would be appreaciate. Btw, I'm Indonesian too.

MY DREAM APP!!! PHENOMENAL
I’m glad you like it! :)
Which LLM did you use? Sonnet 3.5?
It uses OpenAi for embedding and Sonnet for generating code:)
What was the total cost for that run?
great programme now hoping for openrouter integration and project hopping fix because ive noticed after creating new projects it codes from old

Once this thing can output Flutter, I think this would replace Cursor for me
Ya once they get different frameworks it will definitely be game changing
It's going to be hard to replace cursor for me but you're 100% right about apps in general. I'd love something that actually does flutter well

How much of your Anthropic and Open AI balance was used to make the app with Cofounder AI?
You got a subscriber 😊
Thanks you! 🙏😊
Is there a docker (compose) way to install it?
Not that i’ve seen as of yet, hopefully soon
Great share, thanks
Thanks for watching:)

Truly most humans are redundant! What's left?
Crazy!
vite is a bundler, not a framework.....
Cline is great but the API rate limits just kill it.
didn't run for me, i will keep an eye on this project though, looks interesting.
Agreed same here!
Why the hell the need of a key to use the tool?
Because we are beta testers and the product will be a paid product soon?
Good question, I personally can’t say but we have seen many Ai tools put limits once they pick up
Another app for senior devs and not guys like me who are non techie non coders.
Don’t get discouraged, you’re in the right spot learning and you’ll get there soon, keep trying, and will have more basic stuff to coming soon!
Learn to program dude. If you like cars learn to drive a stick... Don't wait for an automatic
Again snake game 😂
ai tubers are super creative...
At least it wasn't a todo app😂😂😂
god damn! This is getting SO HOT
This tool is shit, waste and drain your tokens
It got going on backend/server:main for me and then just quit on me. Just had to back out and hit "resume."
