Skeppy events/invadedlands player here. Skeppy at least in the past year has not scammed ANY events winner out of a prize. Well, I get this is a documentary channel and their job is to cover things for content, but there's some misinformation in this video. For 1, Invadedlands was the very first video, it wasnt created later in his career. 11:40 Skeppy does not fake videos anymore. All the events/trolls are real, at LEAST any recently. I have two main things I want to point out here. 1. To my knowledge, there is no actual proof a6d has groomed minors to my knowledge. The fact that it has been alleged is something, but most every popular youtuber has been accused of grooming minors. The original poster of that comment did end up getting paid and made a statement about SunnyV2's video about Skeppy which I'll leave here. "You may have seen the post on the latest skeppy video, literally over 2 years ago, I won a skeppy event, but it took a month for me to receive the prize money. I had the right to be concerned about what happened, however I never confirmed I got scammed, but explained I was pretty worried that I hadn’t received anything yet, or even worse, my favorite creator scammed me. The way Sunny manipulated my post to make it seem 100% skeppy scammed me and used it to try and turn people against skeppy is so dumb. If skeppy is reading this, this is what I have to say. Kinda hate how when a video essay channel hears something that's supposed they assume it means 100% he got zero proof of Skeppy scaming somebody and Skeppy gave proof he didn't but despite that you still paint a picture of Skeppy being some sort of villain. As much as we hate on people for "selling out", the American economy is designed for us to do that exact thing. Just wanna point out most of all the Minecraft-Tubers who live outside of America don't have this issue with "selling out"
As a person whos never watched skeppy before looking back at the situation is absolutely absurd. Ive watched a couple of his videos and hes more mature in his newer videos then his older videos. And most of the alligations arent even 100% sure (sorry for my english). I think skeppy is just a little bit dumb. I think he didnt do most of the things but hes dumb at responding to them. I wouldnt know how to respond too but i wouldhave responded better then him.
Dude just because he isn’t pulling views like he used to do doesn’t mean his career is dead. He still pulls 55M views a year which is easily(and I mean easily) like 220k dollars which is honestly money that many people dream of.
That’s some pretty good advice. But, I feel like in person school is probably where I’m going to go if I get tired of work. I just like the talking to people and making friends part of it as well as preferring the in person classes to online stuff.
A big problem I have with the new Skeppy is the editing. It's just so.. I don't know, it's just not good. It would be more appealing to 5 year old's, and his editing was much more Skeppy, if that makes sense. It was also just more enjoyable and not overly dramatic. I knew many of Skeppy's videos were faked, but at I put up with it because they were genuinely entertaining videos, and the editing was genuinely good and appealed to me a lot.
though, the bright and flashy editing is meant to bring attention to his channel, but his channel is NOT for kids, actually. we've seen him swear on several occasions in-video.
I almost quit watching his new videos because (what was at the time) his most recent main channel video gave me an actual headache. However he actually listened to criticism and his new videos aren't nearly as over the top with the editing. He's back to old-style trolling content too, and his older fans are loving it! Not many youtubers with his subscriber count listen to audience feedback, but Skeppy does, and I really appreciate that

Tbh, his peak was 4-5 years ago, I wasn't really a fan, but I knew someone who was a diehard, he even opened a channel based on his content, after the million subscribers and the squad split, he simply grew up, and I think that's what happened to a lot of fans. I remember him wanting so badly for Skeppy and BBH to meet irl, sadly he never got to see the video, rest in peace bud.
Minecraft is on a downward trend rn, Skeppy is just a part of that. You know most of this drama is bunk. After the loss of Techno and the actual toxicity/drama of some other creators in the Dreamsmp, people aren't as interested as they used to be. Skeppy isn't a bad person, from what I've seen. His content isn't bad, just not appealing as it used to be in the modern online terrain. He seems to do what he enjoys, and I think that's okay. For you though, Lando, brother, having this expose style channel isn't going to work long term. Its already so saturated with a number of talents, and the downfalls of these types of channels are always as dramatic or even worse than the creators they cover. Be careful how you proceed.
I’ve had to watch my own videos every now and then to bolster those views, but then I saw that some of my videos weren’t even getting comments on them recently, and with this game that I’m working on, I’ve decided to rename and refocus my channel on the two franchises that make up that game, even if there are the occasional Power Rangers and transformers related things in that game. Maybe I’ll start doing a ad Transformers review every now and then.
I know someone who was the main part of a trolling server video recently, and it really wasn't faked. skeppy is a great guy. True, he has said shit in the past, but he has come out about it before.

I honestly really like Skeppy's recent content and I think his channel is slowly coming back. I like it because it reminds me of his old videos and more generic than some of the Minecraft RUclipsrs these days. But there was a period that Skeppy was trying to become more like those other YTers and was uploading like once a month or every other month.

For more context on the a6d situation, what really destroyed his career was being cancelled for saying the r slur (which, means "late" in french, but he did understand the english meaning of the word, just didn't understand how bad it was to say it as english isn't his first language). The pedo allegations were proven false (Badboyhalo had similar accusations against him, however those were proven to be trolls) and regarding the usage of the N word, a6d was testing a chat filter on his server I've seen 0 damning evidence of predatory behavior. firstly, all his videos in the past 1-2 years at least have no proof of being fake secondly, he literally didn't upload consistently since like 2021/2022 so now it might be until the end of this year or 2025 before he picks his old view count back up as long as he remains consistent now. you can tell from comparing the numbers of his views to videos uploaded that there is a direct correlation between them. Bro literally uploaded more than once a day before but then had 2 years with less than 50 or even 25 uploads lastly, this is all old news so this video doesn't add much to his downfall considering other videos cover it in as much or more detail i feel this video is jumping the gun and is honestly over exaggerated

the first 23 minutes of your video is (almost) the same information that SunnyV2 covered, also over the last year he has made every single one of his videos with the community (I think), I have played in his recent videos, so I believe he is already on the path to regrow his reputation! he has separated himself from his old staged content and has made videos that are impossible to fake as he is making them with his viewers. What he staged in the past was bad, but please don't say he is still stages his videos without showing any proof as this just hurts his credibility further and this is generally an unnessecary video since we can just watch the SunnyV2 video for 80% of the info covered in the video. A possible way for you to make this more of your video would be to look into Skeppy's response video and really pick out what he did wrong or didn't address! I will take down this comment if you have an example of skeppy faking his videos in the last year or so (that's when I started watching him again). Good editing tho btw

2018-2021 were skeppy’s peak era, I personally think it because of his new, modern editing style. His old editing style made his videos better even though it was basic but funny. I also think he struggled during the change between 1.8 and the modern day versions and just his friends/partners he had made on the way just went away, Mega, Zelkam, TehNeon, JustVurb, a6d (there are reasons for a6d), I can’t name many more off the top of my head but I’m sure there’s more. I also think the minecraft community is dying, minecraft monday has stopped and many youtubers have quit. If you can think of any other points, please reply in comments I started watching in mid 2017 and I think I have named the main points. btw I still love him I still watch him everyday

As a person whos never watched skeppy before looking back at the situation is absolutely absurd. Ive watched a couple of his videos and hes more mature in his newer videos then his older videos. A big problem I have with the new Skeppy is the editing. It's just so.. I don't know, it's just not good. It would be more appealing to 5 year old's, and his editing was much more Skeppy, if that makes sense. It was also just more enjoyable and not overly dramatic. I knew many of Skeppy's videos were faked, but at I put up with it because they were genuinely entertaining videos, and the editing was genuinely good and appealed to me a lot.

yeah his old videos were funny, and showcased his personality in his editing. Now he has an editor and it feels more like kids content.
though, the bright and flashy editing is meant to bring attention to his channel, but his channel is NOT for kids, actually. we've seen him swear on several occasions in-video.
I almost quit watching his new videos because (what was at the time) his most recent main channel video gave me an actual headache. However he actually listened to criticism and his new videos aren't nearly as over the top with the editing. He's back to old-style trolling content too, and his older fans are loving it!
Not many youtubers with his subscriber count listen to audience feedback, but Skeppy does, and I really appreciate that

Minecraft is on a downward trend rn, Skeppy is just a part of that. You know most of this drama is bunk. After the loss of Techno and the actual toxicity/drama of some other creators in the Dreamsmp, people aren't as interested as they used to be. Skeppy isn't a bad person, from what I've seen. His content isn't bad, just not appealing as it used to be in the modern online terrain. He seems to do what he enjoys, and I think that's okay. For you though, Lando, brother, having this expose style channel isn't going to work long term. Its already so saturated with a number of talents, and the downfalls of these types of channels are always as dramatic or even worse than the creators they cover. Be careful how you proceed.

I’ve had to watch my own videos every now and then to bolster those views, but then I saw that some of my videos weren’t even getting comments on them recently, and with this game that I’m working on, I’ve decided to rename and refocus my channel on the two franchises that make up that game, even if there are the occasional Power Rangers and transformers related things in that game. Maybe I’ll start doing a ad Transformers review every now and then.

I honestly really like Skeppy's recent content and I think his channel is slowly coming back. I like it because it reminds me of his old videos and more generic than some of the Minecraft RUclipsrs these days. But there was a period that Skeppy was trying to become more like those other YTers and was uploading like once a month or every other month.

firstly, all his videos in the past 1-2 years at least have no proof of being fake
secondly, he literally didn't upload consistently since like 2021/2022 so now it might be until the end of this year or 2025 before he picks his old view count back up as long as he remains consistent now. you can tell from comparing the numbers of his views to videos uploaded that there is a direct correlation between them. Bro literally uploaded more than once a day before but then had 2 years with less than 50 or even 25 uploads

the first 23 minutes of your video is (almost) the same information that SunnyV2 covered, also over the last year he has made every single one of his videos with the community (I think), I have played in his recent videos, so I believe he is already on the path to regrow his reputation! he has separated himself from his old staged content and has made videos that are impossible to fake as he is making them with his viewers. What he staged in the past was bad, but please don't say he is still stages his videos without showing any proof as this just hurts his credibility further and this is generally an unnessecary video since we can just watch the SunnyV2 video for 80% of the info covered in the video.
A possible way for you to make this more of your video would be to look into Skeppy's response video and really pick out what he did wrong or didn't address!
I will take down this comment if you have an example of skeppy faking his videos in the last year or so (that's when I started watching him again). Good editing tho btw

2018-2021 were skeppy’s peak era, I personally think it because of his new, modern editing style. His old editing style made his videos better even though it was basic but funny. I also think he struggled during the change between 1.8 and the modern day versions and just his friends/partners he had made on the way just went away, Mega, Zelkam, TehNeon, JustVurb, a6d (there are reasons for a6d), I can’t name many more off the top of my head but I’m sure there’s more. I also think the minecraft community is dying, minecraft monday has stopped and many youtubers have quit. If you can think of any other points, please reply in comments
