MindCrack was more popular than ever and the admin wanted to turn it corporate to cash in on all of the numbers and play the RUclips game, so Etho and others left... the minecraft community doesnt make people do bad things or want to quit, its the content of their character that makes them want to do so. there are bad people in literally every walk of life, and eventually everthing will become just a job, no matter how much you enjoy it. Etho is one person who is content with that being his job.

Sad to hear what happened with PopularMMO... my gf and me really enjoyed their crafting dead series because it was just so silly and yet funny. However... there was a video in which the two actually had a bit of a fight (during a showcase video Jen was somehow upset and felt disrespected), and instead of stopping the video then and there Pat continued without Jen and awkwardly finished said video. For some reason that never sat right with me (but then again... what do I know), but even so... the breakup didn't really surprise me because of that. Still sad to see how things turned out, really hope he managed to get everything straightened out.

LoL, I thought the exposed hacker videos were real, and watched a lit of them. I think promoting hacked clients is fine. Minecraft is a sandbox game and has no built in rules, but you should not do it if it is against the rules of a person that pays for a server. On 2b2t, everyone that is active in the community hacks unless they are doing challenges like escaping spawn without hacks. I think some of the things he did are okay, but arguing with techno is something that should get you the electric chair.

I never heard of any of these creators. Maybe because my MC feed was dominated by HermitCraft creators, so I never got all the weird storytelling or drama videos.
