The "NEW" Cloverdale station was not built for SMART. The US101 freeway bypassing Cloverdale necessitated the destruction of the Cloverdale NWP station, which was being used as a MofW and storage facility and also had passenger facilities though they had been unused since the NWP "Redwood" was discontinued west of Willits. CalTrans was required to replace whatever had to be destroyed. The result was the new passenger station and a MofW facility about a half mile east (by the timetable; compass north). The parking lot of the station was used for short-lived excursion trains and as the Amtrak Thruway Bus stop until it was moved to a location more convenient for the public. The station building was briefly leased out for office space. SMART did not come along until later. It was created by legislation in 2002.

That is correct. The depot however has to be re-built completely due to ADA standards.
Never realized there were 3 sets of track between the shop and first street.
Yup, Mainline down the center, siding off to the right (looking North) along Asti Road and a pocket track to the left (looking North) along US-101.
