Speaking from the standpoint of a graphic designer, I can understand the concept behind the design of the hotel. The use of bamboo as a signature throughout the hotel, even the door to the room are made from bamboo veneer, the water for cleanness or renewing, and the color scheme throughout the hotel reflecting calmness of nature, and what a view of the bay. This is the best time of year to travel in Japan. The weather is neither hot nor cold, and the number of travelers is less than during the year-end and New Year holidays, early May, and mid-August. However, I was surprised to see 80,000 yen.😸
Do you mean the stools and buckets in the large bathrooms? People who take a bath sit on that stool and use the bucket. Then they wash their face and body.😀
I had the same request as you. Unfortunately we are not able to purchase a room in this ryokan, but there are apartments and houses with hot springs in Beppu.😄♨️
