It was a very terrible interpretation of the law by the electoral court, perhaps they were trying to avoid judicial over reach and let the issue be decided politically and they ended making a dogs dinner of the case. That said, it’s all opinions and hence why there is an appellate court. The electoral court needs to be properly resourced and staffed.

Judge Keigler never had a favorable opinion of Zuma. Freedom underlaw, COSAC, and Ahmed Kathrad Foundation consistently express their disapproval of Zuma. It is important to mention that a court decision will not influence our support for the MK party. The constitution is ineffective and does not facilitate economic development for black individuals. Change is imminent, and individuals relying on courts for protection and foreign-funded organizations should not be permitted in South Africa. They serve the funder's interests.
The constitutional court doesn't lay anything bare, the judges were biased in their decisions as they were saving face for sentencing Zuma without trial. The constitutional court acted unconstitutionally as Zuma was sent to jail without trial and without appeal. The constitutional court is a banana court. Anyway the constitutional court has no mandate to sentence anyone

My main issue is that Mr Zuma was not given an opportunity to appeal, so I really don't know why Mr Zuma is subjected to the section which was not considered so I strongly believe that if Mr Zuma could approach international court or human committee this would give different point of view. The question I've is whether it was the intention of the drafters of the constitution that when a person appears directly before the Constitutional court as the court of first and last instance he automatically forfeit his fundamental constitutional right of appeal after he is sentenced...if that is so is it constitutionally correct even if the Constitutional Court clearly erred in its judgment...
