My husband for fifteen years divorced me when i decided to serve the ministry full time. His reason is there's no money in the ministry. I did not argue with him i just let him do what he wants leaving nothing on hand. I went home to my homeland, the Philippines. I was downhearted then but God lift me up after the divorce i enrolled in Biblical Studies and now I'm serving as the Resident Pastor of Cornerstone for Every Generation Church in the Philippines.

I love this song--especially when Lynda sings it!!! I've had few mountain top experiences in my life. At 25 I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus. I was married with 2 young boys. A RN and working. My husband felt that I was no longer "socially acceptable". Divorce came & a long custody battle. God knew where the kids needed to be. At the age of 37 I became disabled. The Lupus had paralyzed my GI Tract. God has intervened more times than I can count to let me live when the MDs' had given up. Just last week He did, the ER MD didn't think I was ill. Thank God that the house MD knew all about my diseases-it took 3 days in hospital and 12 bags of IV fluids before I could stand on my own!! God is good all the time!! Yes, that faith muscle grows!!!

My wife walked out on me, she got influenced by another man on higher status that mine. I have toiled with my wife from a very low level to a point God was elevating us then she walked away with my only daughter. I have been in the dark as I love my family more. I am shattered in pieces but this song makes me move on strong. God is good in all situations. He won't walk out on me as my wife did.

God on the mountain is still God in the valley.... I visited my daughter and family in Ireland ..little did I know it was not just a visit .. I got sick and diagonized with a type of a cancer. Had to be hospitalized .. HDU for a week and the general ward from Jan to March.... I saw God's hand while in this valley of bad health ... the Lord .. is the same ... my mountain time was that I had to be treated as a foreigner in the land... no bills to pay ......reminded me of Ruth in the foreign land... Boaz came to her rescue.... I saw my Boaz. Surely God is Good in all times... good and bad ... To Him be the glory... this song ministers to me greatly.

I’ve been having sleepless nights for weeks now I cry all nights and find things to distract me till it’s morning 💔 I have my schools fees to pay and I’m at my lowest at this point and the deadline is close and this had me worrying and thinking. Tonight I cried out to God and then I remembered this song 🥺 I began to remember the beautiful things God has done even when I least expected them , I remembered how he carried me and helped me cross bridges that was broken ,how he loves me unconditionally, how he rescues me every I call on him ,how he relived me from stress and depression, God of the good times is still God in bad times!! I understand better !! Thank you Jesus ❤️ God will always come through and strongly I believe that he’ll come for me ❤️

Em 2018 passei por um vale chorava muito,mta dor na alma então conheci esse hino, foi amor a primeira vista, eu ñ entendia quase nada da letra pq ñ sei inglês, mas eu entendia de certa forma td nesse louvor, entendi q o Deus da montanha era o mesmo do vale, que Deus estava comigo, eu tinha mta insônia e nada resolvia, então eu fechava a porta do meu quarto, orava, convidava DEUS...JESUS..ESPÍRITO SANTO Pará vir ficar comigo, colocava esse hino no meu cell, colocava fones nos ouvidos, pra ñ acordar ninguém, e ouvia esse hino a noite toda, chama Jesus pra dançar comigo, eu fazia uma vigília, eu Deus..Jesus..e o Espírito Santo e passava noites inteiras ouvindo esse hino repetidas vezes, chorava , sorria, me sentia abraçada por Jesus, e tudo aquilo passou e eu fui para o monte, então esse louvor sumiu do meu celular, desde então eu tenho procurado, mas como ñ sabia a letra em português, pesquisava errado e ñ encontrava, ficava triste pedir mto pra Jesus deixar eu ouvir esse louvor outra vez,até que ouvindo uma pregação o pastor falou q o Deus dos montes e o mesmo do vale....então resolvir procurar o hino com esse nome...e encontrei outra vez esse lindo hino, estou aqui ouvindo feliz da vida e agradeço a Jesus por ter me mostrado como encontrar esse hino no RUclips...agora vou poder fazer outra vez as vigílias com minha trindade santa.....estou mto feliz....obrigada Senhor Jesus...

I remembered when I first heard this song some years ago, I was young making bad choices, but this song reminded me that no matter what I was facing God is the creator of all things, he knew my beginning and my end, all I had to do was repent, turn all my brokenness over to him, and trust him that he will right my wrong, and he was able to do what's impossible for me.

I am grateful for this reminder. I just lost my mother and queen the love of my life. We were in the valley for a long time long before even the word ghetto was coined. God is truly a deliverer but it helps to understand that the journey is designed to be our "training day" so we can do the mission. The abuse, the rape, the divorce, the missing father it was all added to our playbook not because God is a bad God but rather we needed it to execute the assigned mission. So now there is incoming!
