A month or two ago I got into kpop and just today, as I was watching this earlier, I was like I swear I’ve heard his name before. But the whole video I was thinking wow he’s so cute and his advice is great. I was going to look him up and in my brain he was already by bias of the group. I then realized why I know his name. I’m crying and I’m trying not to but I just can’t believe it. My heart hurts so bad

The person who commented didn't know Jonghyun, but he/she was just saying that (while watching this) Jonghyun seems to be a nice and sincere person and that his comments/advice were genuine. I also don't like that he called him "that dude" and it was disrespectful, but I believe there was no ill intent coming from the person who commented. Jonghyun is really the best. He deserved, and still deserves, the world + more.

He was mentally ill and wasn’t receiving proper attention and help that he should’ve gotten for his depression due to it being seen as taboo in Korea. Jonghyun loved being a part of SHINee.

However i think he needs to learn that not everything is easy and simple and if he really wants to become an idol or celebrity, go do it, but keep in mind it takes years of hard work and practise. People in Asia mostly don't take mental health seriously in my case they don't even think it's real and make fun if it. But it was just as real as cancer and you should pay attention to it. They say the most brightest people in the outside is often the most broken. I still can't believe that someone like jonghyun who's always there 4 people even after he departed he's helping us through his music and I'm beyond grateful for that but jonghyun didn't have something like that a sort of comfort like I have from his songs and that hurts me, that he continued healing us even though he was suffering and we didn't even notice it . Tbh I wish to die, beg for my death to be sooner bc at this point peopllike us can't handle the pain any longer but I feel like I can't let his death go to waste, I feel like I have to learn from it and try my best to save someone and maybe that'll make me feel better but the burden that comes with it kills me. I remeber watching this years ago and this is literally the reason I got into kpop more specifically taemin I just thought he was honestly the most beautiful idol I had ever seen like to this day no other idol has shocked me by there face in such a way and Jonghyuns voice was just amazing and key was so amazing too. And than I listened to their music and realised how talented they also were alongside their amazing visuals
The first concern, didn't seem like a problem to me. I think it will just come with time for him and he shouldn't be forced. The second concern, how did it not win, I don't understand why the father & daughter didn't take the situation much seriously. What is the point in making others happy when you can't even make yourself or the ones you love happy. Third concern, the mother took the smoking/blood test thing a bit far and underwear in winter (he could of gotten really bad frostbite) but the rest were so called for. She bought the phone most likely and she can take it away whenever. I say if you live under your parents roof, you live under their rules especially at 15. Also I didn't even get a cell phone until high school, I understand phones for safety reasons but there is no need for data and crazy expensive phones too. Also you have to work for all things in life, nothing comes free. Someone should let him know that Idols sweat a lot in kind of comes with the job and looks aren't everything.

This is the third episode of ‘Hello Counselor’ Jonghyun has been on. he’s so sweet.
Jonghyun was such a genuine person, he'd listen/help people in any way he could, he was truly an angel and the fact that he was crying for help and no one heard it and even if they did they didn't care enough to help him. People in Asia mostly don't take mental health seriously in my case they don't even think it's real and make fun if it. But it was just as real as cancer and you should pay attention to it. They say the most brightest people in the outside is often the most broken. I still can't believe that someone like jonghyun who's always there 4 people even after he departed he's helping us through his music and I'm beyond grateful for that but jonghyun didn't have something like that a sort of comfort like I have from his songs and that hurts me, that he continued healing us even though he was suffering and we didn't even notice it . Tbh I wish to die, beg for my death to be sooner bc at this point peopllike us can't handle the pain any longer but I feel like I can't let his death go to waste, I feel like I have to learn from it and try my best to save someone and maybe that'll make me feel better but the burden that comes with it kills me. Anyone of you who's reading this if you're going through hardtimes, depressed and lost pls don't suffer alone, reach out for help from someone you trust pls just don't suffer alone, one day you'll find peace and happiness, you're valid you matter and don't let anyone bring you down not even yourself, loving yourself is harder than loving someone else s try to love yourself and one day you'll achieve it I believe in you. I remeber watching this years ago and this is literally the reason I got into kpop more specifically taemin I just thought he was honestly the most beautiful idol I had ever seen like to this day no other idol has shocked me by there face in such a way and Jonghyuns voice was just amazing and key was so amazing too. The first concern, didn't seem like a problem to me. I think it will just come with time for him and he shouldn't be forced. The second concern, how did it not win, I don't understand why the father & daughter didn't take the situation much seriously. What is the point in making others happy when you can't even make yourself or the ones you love happy. Third concern, the mother took the smoking/blood test thing a bit far and underwear in winter (he could of gotten really bad frostbite) but the rest were so called for. She bought the phone most likely and she can take it away whenever. I say if you live under your parents roof, you live under their rules especially at 15. Also I didn't even get a cell phone until high school, I understand phones for safety reasons but there is no need for data and crazy expensive phones too. Also you have to work for all things in life, nothing comes free. Someone should let him know that Idols sweat a lot in kind of comes with the job and looks aren't everything.
