When I found out he passed away I felt for Trina and for her sons. You never know what someone is going through by just looking at them. I am glad that before he passed the were able to reconcile.

I met him a few times before he died. He was losing weight but was still in good spirits so you couldn't really tell. Very nice guy in person.
Wow... 3 weeks ??? That wasn't just her husband / ex-husband but afterwards her BEST friend and to find out that she might not see him again...I'm sure was such a painful thing to find out about ! RIP Gabe ! I hope and pray you are looking over Trina and her boys and resting peacefully ❤️🙏🏽
Myronn Coleman it can be like that - in the time that we knew my mom had cancer, we lost her within two weeks. That was so long ago, but it still saddens me to see that we haven't advanced yet to a point where early detection isn't really 'typical.'
Gabe made a lot of mistakes but he had a good heart and they were really best friends. I’m so sorry ❤️

The circumstances were terrible but this is what brought them together. Yes they did Iyanla, yes they have been in the same room together before finding out about Gabe. But once they found this out and Trina said the petty shit they argue about is just that- petty, they had to come together. Gabe was of service to the sisters in his transition and that’s beautiful to me
Traci was more passive to Trina then Tamar she think everything was a game.
My sister had breast cancer 2016. Did radiation and it was gone. Father’s Day of last year she went to the hospital because she was having pain in her back. They found out it spread to her liver. She died July 8. Life just doesn’t feel the same and life is extremely short. She was 38. The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing that she had a relationship with god and that she’s no longer in pain. Cancer sucks!

I like Gabe and being in that family was hard for him he was having to pleased her family than more than her, she played a part in it but my heart goes out for her that was a lot specially when she was trying to hold it together for her B'Day.

Her behavior is from being nervous I think but I agree she could be more empathetic
She's so extra about everything....and that got played out very quick and she couldn't handle people not buying that act anymore.
You should always get yourself checked. Blood work, scans, go for it. Talk with your doctor or look at support groups that can help you in any way if you cant afford it. You can feel fine but doesnt mean you are 100% in health. Had an endoscopy last year and showed barrett’s esophagus which is close to being cancer but i’m on treatment as it is curable. Mind you I felt fine. So please get yourself checked whether you think youre okay or not. And ladies and gents if you have to get your private areas checked, just go and get them checked. Sheer embarrassment will cost you your life. Just go

Meagan Floyd hey gorgeous!! Thanks so much! Esophagus has improved and i’m going in for another endoscopy this July so fingers crossed it went away. It’s crazy. You seem to think eating healthy will keep you healthy but crazy bs always stems outta nowhere. I havent even told my parents about it because I dont want to make them worry. Thank you so much
T 412 I know that feeling too well! But for start I would get basic bloodwork just to see how your cholesterol is doing along with kidney and liver function. Complete Blood count as well with thyroid

This is very sad but all them sitting there not one of them got up to hug her or anything at all. The comfort I tell you only thing I can say may God rest his soul.

I felt so bad for Trina. She was obviously heartbroken. Watching her sit there pouring her heart out to people who HATED Gabe must have been hard. Hopefully she had someone other than her sisters or Evelyn to help her through it. Gabe had his faults, but he did love Trina and even though they never had children of their own he helped raise hers. RIP Gabe.

I was thrown for a loop when I heard about his passing as I never knew he was even sick so I know that really messed with Trina. Wishing her and her boys as well as Gabe's family all the best during their time of grief.
Everything happens for a reason, R.i.p Gabe this hurt seeing trina crying im praying for healing to those who loved him and knew him and I pray for mercy on all us who take for granted the opportunity to be loving towards those in our lives but this right here was an eye opener and powerful to hearing trina telling that to her sister's I pray they get back focus on Gods plan of sister hood and not be so focused on money for money is the root of all evil and separates us from the glory of God, peace be still and blessings to you all' AMEN'
Gosh he was in his own way trying to be decent. Thank God he was with Trina instead of Tamar. At least Trina is sincere and compassionate about her ex. It's a blessing to know that before he passed they were able to reconcile. Condolences to those who care.

My dad's sister (my aunt) died of Colon cancer , by the time she found out she was already stage 4 ,she died a year later . She was like a second mom to me and my brother , she did things that our mom never did with us, she allowed us be kids and make pizza bake cookies go on outings, watch me get baptized. She died the day after my birthday and even on her death bed she could only whisper and she said to her daughter tell me happy birthday. I miss her every day😢
