I spent 30+ years out there, I'm old now and had to put down roots, I do miss traveling along, but it's nice to come home also, I will suggest you get a dog as they can be very useful for many reasons
really nice. not trying to show off a routine that everyone is going to be jealous of or impressed by, just showing what seems like a genuine and real example. left me wishing we could continue watching to see what the day brought, where she headed, and how she ended the day. glad to see very attainable, down to earth, non-sensationalized content about living a nomadic, minimalist, independent life.
Beautifully narrated Angie. ❤ It looked like a peaceful & serene place to start your day. I have, of late, been ignoring every beep my phone makes... I'll get to it when I'm ready....am trying to find some quiet in the 'noise'. Getting out in nature certainly resets my mind, and allows the volume of 'fluff' in this world to be turned down. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤ I hope you have a fantastic day & safe travels. ❤
I like to go on roadtrips in my Toyota Matrix. Its just a hatchback Corolla. You should remove your passenger seat. Then you got more room. Then you can buy a Camp chef oven. Would be a nice upgrade for you. Or just a small BBQ.
We sleep on opposite sides of the same car same color same dishes too. I left a house or two behind with a fence and a dog. What is this feeling, such writing and editing of the question of your movements thru your day and not just the efficiency of reaching your destination, this feeling is being in touch! Thank you for sharing this beautiful insight to your love. I cried a joy for you as it ended.
Thanks Angie, the days with your videos are so much better than the days without! Now please put me on the waiting list for a signed first edition of your first novel.
Wow, I'm exhausted after a week in the office cubical 😕 Its been years of a trapped mind! I've gotten older! Thanks for the escape even if just for a few minutes! > Bob
I love your videos so much! They are so different from the majority... You made the right decision for your live and i watch you every day. Have a good time! Achim from the Cologne area in Germany
The River Why by Duncan is a good book to read while traveling the coast range. I have a feeling your an English lit major so you might have already flipped though it. Big Sur is Kerouac and Monterrey is Steinbeck. Ken Kesey fits in there somewhere. Lets not forget Tom Robins. Coast Hwy has a way of slowing people down with all the twists, turns and foggy mornings. Just remember to stop and have a beer along with some fish and chips. I've done coast hwy any number of ways and a Vette, credit card and a day pack seems to be the most fun. Endeavor to persevere as you are putting a good spin on the travel vlog.
I’ve just watched two of your vids. I loved this one! Your observations, feelings, questions about feelings, etc. A lovely set up in your Corolla! Way to go. Enjoy your adventures. The outdoors is so very special. Doing this alone is also special. Enjoy. I have enjoyed camping in my Corolla with a tent, past few years. But next week I am planning to camp, and sleep in my car. Lol Im retired and my greatest times are camping and padding my kayak. Alone. Lol.
I watched this video and now I sit here looking around at all of my belongings. It’s all nothing I need. I walk past it each day and not notice it. I could walk out tomorrow and not miss it. What is this feeling? “It’s my plan for tomorrow”! 💕
Yay! A new Angie on Tour video! I discovered your channel by researching living in a corolla. I wish I knew how to promote you to others. I'm sure they would like you! On your travels have you considered a trip down the Buffalo River? It's a pretty place with clear water, rock bluffs, etc. It's in northern Arkansas. You could float the river this time of year or come in autumn to see the tree leaves turn color.
Although the specifics were different this reminds me of my own daily morning routine when I went on my cross-country adventure in my car. When I didn't stay in a motel or with friends and family I camped, usually next to my car. Like you it was boil water, make pour-over coffee (I'm a cream & sugar guy), some sort of hot or cold cereal, linger a bit, then clean it all up, take apart my tent and pack everything, organize my car as best as I could, and hit the road. I usually knew where I'd be headed as I planned things out, but there was always uncertainty and surprises, like bad weather, closed roads, traffic, side trips to restock supplies and maybe get some "real" food (Taco Bell was my favorite, cheap, tasty and filling). But although I've never been a morning person this morning routine felt special, a time to get my bearings and in touch with things before heading out. I also kept a journal, but it was more about what I did, bought and spent, where I went and what I saw and did each day than my thoughts and observations. I should dig it up and re-read it. I miss all that. I feel like I should do a mini version of it, even if just for a weekend, just to get away from my regular routine. I think that this is why most of us watch your videos, Angie, to vicariously experience or re-experience this cross country adventure of yours. It's important to do something like this now and then, even if just for a day or two, although everyone should have such an adventure at least once in life.
Wow. Damn good music at the beginning love it. And the words just pretty good. So lyricy. Woah the whole video is damn good. You really have thought through everything here. Music, Text, Composition. Wow I am really impressed
One tip in case it isn't part of the morning routine. Check your engine oil every other day and top up if necessary. The Corolla is the most reliable car in the world but any engine may still burn small amounts of oil with temperature fluctuations, lots of idling, extended drive times etc. Would just hate to see you slowly wear your engine out prematurely due to low oil. Safe travels. Welcome to life on the road..🙏
Angie, I really love this episode. From the begin to end. This feeling…Is it a curiosity or a craving? Possibly a thirst for our soul? I anticipate it will take time to fully answer. In the meantime I’ll look forward to your future videos. Thanks Angie, I love your creativity.
Angie I make coffee same way you do , I see you drink Peets I don't know if you know , but , least roasted coffee beans have the most caffeine , just to help you have complete pleasure enjoying life , freedom , nature :)
4:15 Not a dog but i can be your pet bear whenever you want 😅Just kidding. Don't get angry, please 🙃7:24 Besides i could do the dishes for you; tbh i think you use too much soap 😅Just kidding. Just kidding 😂 Sighhh. Love is beautiful, isn't it? 😊👍
You're always hungry. I've only had 1 cup of coffee in my life and that still doesn't sit very well, even today. Please don't leave your shoes outside for any length of time, things scurry in. While that can be startling, it also can send you to the Hospital, a few minutes possibly a few hours... Safe Travels and adventures!
Hi Angie, I ran across a video of yours a few weeks ago and after watching a couple I decided to start at the beginning and I’m now caught up! You have a very nice story and I like how you educate yourself on the sites and then educate us. I admire you for what you’re doing and how quickly you’ve adapted to this lifestyle. Keep the videos coming and most importantly stay safe out there. 😊
young and beautiful woman alone in the forest in my country is not so safe. I wish i can live like you. Only need to afraid about future when i'm old ❤

You are learning valuable lessons most people never do in a lifetime. Savor it.
Amazing! I got inspired to car camp in my 2018 Toyota Corolla after watching your videos and traveled to Badlands and Yellowstone from Indiana!

Question. Is it worth the money and time for a couple from Kansas to drive up to Alaska or take a cruise? I'd say no. Go to Amsterdam
