High School Tour | Yasin Valley Gilgit Baltistan

Government Boys High School Thaus is in Yasin Valley Gilgit Baltistan. in this vlog, I am sharing my school story and experiences. I live in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan, and my Kids go to a decent Private School and during our conversation, they keep asking questions about my school and life at school. when I respond with facts, they often don't believe me. for example, we did not have any lunch boxes. We were using plastic shoes, black shalwar Kameez as uniform. not clean clothes, sitting on dirty floors, no transportation, some kids were walking on foot for 4 hours to get to school and so on.
This school was the only school for the entire yasing valley and most of the kids coming from far flung villages would stay with their relatives near to school or opt for a small hostel with shared rooms or walk onfoot for hours. that was our life.
This year, I decided to take my kids to my school to show them my schools, which is somehow the same except for a few changes like we saw girls in this building now. at our times, it was purely a boys' high school. we also noticed a few new buildings, including a girls and boys college. please join me to watch this journey with me @gerihaldenvlogs
