In the Dove ad, Garvita truly shines! Her infectious smile and confidence lit up the screen. What stood out to me the most was how Dove celebrated her beauty, showing that being "chubby" isn't just okay-it's downright beautiful! Garvita's presence was like a burst of sunshine on a rainy day. Her positivity and self-assurance were inspiring. It reminded me that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and each one is worth celebrating. When I think about it, Garvita embodied everything Dove stands for: embracing diversity and challenging conventional beauty standards. Her joy was contagious, and it made me rethink how I see beauty in myself and others. In a world where we're bombarded with unrealistic ideals, Garvita's portrayal was refreshingly real. When some called me dark , some said my skin tone reminds them of little green twigs. some said I my eyes are not pretty and some other said my eyes looks cute when I smile . Fun fact: ALL THESE THREE PRODUCTS ARE OF SAME COMPANY, WHAT A CLEVER MARKETING. Hindustan Unilever. 😂 Lakme : Your hair aren't perfect, don't look good, purchase our shampoos and get beautiful hair. Fair & Lovely : You are dark skinned that's why you aren't beautiful, purchase our cream and become fair and beautiful. Dove: Stop the beauty test, you are beautiful the way you are. Same company is selling fairness cream to make you fair from "ugly" dark skin, selling shampoos to make your hair beautiful and also telling you to accept the way you are.😂

It's not always beauty test. Moms use Haldi on face for the skin to glow and it also has healing properties for many skin conditions. Using haldi is always better than some soap like dove. They don't apply haldi thinking about future marriage, this is stupid. Mom covered the pimples area with hair because she is worried how the fellow classmates or teachers will react seeing them. The waist measurement and the specs clip doesn't happen usually. Just remember that Indian parents care more about their children then most of the Western countries. Moral: Don't fall on Western propaganda. Their team made this ad and tried to show that even applying haldi/turmeric is stupid. Applying ayurvedic method is always better than dove or whatever they are trying to sell.

Hey these companies in the late 90s told the people that a girl could get fairness by using their beauty products
Now , these companies are saying to stop the beauty test .
#BANBEAUTYPRODUCTS
THIS TREND SHOULD START IN EACH AND EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM
no you are wrong...some feel good using beauty products...earlier the scenario was different in product marketing now it is not...everyone has their own aspects of being beautiful...some like to use beauty products some dont...let them be ...people will judge either way...these hastage things are waste...understand the context at which this ad is made... it is not telling to stop using beauty products or use beauty products..it is simply saying love yourself the way you are..nobody can judge you on the basis of your marks , skin color etc.. you have to be confident thats what matter...and people now use make up not to hide but bcoz they love makeup...

Muje acne ki problem hai but muje kabi kisi ne yeh feel nahi karwayiya k muje dekh unne problem hai. Muje chashma b laga hai. Aur muje meri family party me lens use karne se mana karte hai k sab ko chashma hai koi badi baat nahi. Main jab b aapne acne k liye koi remedies try karti hu toh bolte hai k in sab se kuch nahi hota age k sath khud hi theek ho jayege. Aur shaadi per toh kabi koi baat hoti hi nahi. If so why dove makes beauty soaps and lotions and other cosmetic products.. It is a attack on our bonds. And culture
@@iPhoneunlock1007 they never soaps by saying that it can fairer your skin...i am not defending the brand but i am saying the truth
@@rupammondal821 every woman, person or human being from begening of the world, they want to glow their skin better than the actual, every mother also think like this..most beautiful girls ladies and elders also. The Ads are targeting the hindu tradition only because we, the hindu civilians, are not defense ourselves. Do you know that dove is the product of Unilever company of British.
You can't catch the point in the ad...
They always show Indian hindu families and teach us how to behave.... They want to eliminate traditional and natural skin glowing products from Indian society.. And promoting their chemical cosmetics and unhealthy lotions.. They can't dare to show other religion families and traditions to promote and comment on their women rights. Can you show me that type of any ad on other societies and religions.
Our tradition and natural beauty and cosmetic products are much more better than dove chemical products.. First of all.. We, Desmond these type of multinational companies..stop attacking on Indian culture and tradition.
Otherwise we can Boycott this products.. We can.

I really appreciate this even this is an ad. Still better than any other video. Thanks dove india 🇮🇳
in my school life I failed these beauty tests don't remember how many times . With maturity I have got the realization that I'm still beautiful even after failing to match these standards. When some called me dark , some said my skin tone reminds them of little green twigs. some said I my eyes are not pretty and some other said my eyes looks cute when I smile . Beauty is not in being flawless. Beauty is your comfort when you be yourself, it's your confidence when you consider yourself worth praising. 💝💝💝💝 Girls we are all so beautiful, don't let anyone make you believe otherwise.

I can't tell if it's sarcasm or not but if you are serious you are the most naive idiot i have seen today
Remember Dove adds where they encouraged the test
"Hamne chere ke 1 side dove layagaya or 2 side dusra sabun lagay. 7 days main antar dikha dove better hai"
Hypocrisy at it's best.
Fun fact: ALL THESE THREE PRODUCTS ARE OF SAME COMPANY, WHAT A CLEVER MARKETING. Hindustan Unilever. 😂
Lakme : Your hair aren't perfect, don't look good, purchase our shampoos and get beautiful hair.

@@carsbuddy8267 it isn't a matter of what boys like. A person shouldn't be made to feel bad just because of how they look or the colour of the skin. And a person doesn't exist to just be the object of attraction of other people. They are more than that.

If Unilever wants to end the beauty test, then the power to do it lies with them. They need to start with stopping sale of Glow and Lovely globally. Unilever is the one who has profited from Beauty Test the most. They have sold Fair Skin for so so so long that the beauty test has become a standard thing

I have always used dove soap as long as I can remember....n I wasn't really proud that no other brand suits my skin especially after their ad of that t-shirt opening from a afro to a American girl ad ...but the change they have made ever since recently from their ad having multiple colored women in 1 ad...I feel really great .

Well made, shows how it's not just school, you face these tests at home too
WTH !!
Isn't the whole point of dove products to beautify yourself meaning you are not good looking, use our products and beautify yourself.
I agree with this ad. Women should stop using Dove products or any other beauty product and be happy with the way look. Dont care what others think of you.
I m surprised from dove beauty brand show the real beauty 😍 very nice message for society
The attempt via the ad is to alienate girls from their family .
Same glasses problem to me. 😢

We Indians are always judged by our weight, height colour and gender identity. It's not only happens in small town but city as well. When we want to feel free or move forward they always pull our legs and taunting us. I really want to tell all women and men and LGBTQ when they make fun of you; always laugh on them and move forward because "they are a real joke" and #sabkojeenekahaquehai♥️💜🤗

If people can't even taunt someone on weight especially when that weight is the results of someone's own unhealthy routine then this world is getting tooo soft.
