Teya Dora became known worldwide last year with her viral song "Dzanum" she has been in the spotify charts in many countries last year. She was not so well known in serbia before dzanum but she made songs for many famous singers like nikolija and she studied music at berklee college in the USA. „Ramonda“, "Ramonda Nathaliae" or "ramonda serbica" is a flower that grows in serbia and therefore has the serbian name. The ramonda flower can be revived with just a few drops of water even if it dries out completely. And that is why the flower has been a great symbol for Serbia since the First World War: 11.11 is Remembrance Day for all the Serbian men who died in the First World War. And the ramonda flower is a symbol of revival and hope. The rebirth is connected to the fact that Serbia also managed to "get back on its feet" after an exhausting battle. In my opinion, the song deserves to go to eurovision because it is a very beautiful and patriotic song with a beautiful meaning.
The flower that grows out at the end is the ramonda flower and that is a sign that there is hope again after a struggle. Every person who is struggling with something can relate to this song

Honestly speaking, for us who are from Serbia, this is more than a song and much more than who will accept it or not, because she (Ramonda) is something that we as a nation gave to all of you, and those are the victims of the First World War, Our nation lost 1/3 of its population at that time (about 1,250,000 thousand people) for freedom...an unprecedented loss ever. We as a nation have already won, and this song is dedicated to all of you, in this crazy time today, and we hope that others will emerge like this flower (Ramonda). So, let me repeat, we have already won by choosing this the song... WE REMEMBER !!!
We send you all a lot of love and see you in Belgrade (Serbia) next year at the next Eurovision Song Contest !!!🥰

Ramonda is endemic flower that grows only in Serbia and it characteristics are very symbolic to Serbian people. Let me put it into perspective: A nation that lost all the leaders and battle ready man fought Otoman Empire in The Battle of Kosovo (blackbird in Serbian) field in 1389 after that Serbia tried out like Ramonda to be Reborn in 1878 after the city of Vranje (Crow town) was free. Only 24 years after Serbia was in Balkan Wars from 1912-1913, after that Serbia was in WW1 where over 1 third of population was killed. Tha entire nation fled over Albania to Greece presumed MIA or dead. When Serbs got back to the Bulgarian front soldiers screamed "The Dead are back!", And after the WW1 Serbs were again under Germany where for 1 woulnded soldier 50 Serbian, Gypsy or Jew people (kids and woman included) were shot publicly, and for one German soldier killed a 100 of Serbs, Gypsies or Jews were killed. and then you have wars in the 1990. So like Ramonda Serbs need just a fiew drops of (Greek) water to rise like fenix and come to life. No wander vampire came from Serbian falklore.LOL. But thats about the symbolism and the deep meaning when Serbs listen to this dark lullaby. Serbs sing when sad and cry when we are happy.

Don't interrupt the song that much. Listen to it from the beginning to the end without stopping it. Also, the perspective is changed once you know the symbolism of the flower itself as well as the whole (hi)story behind it.

Ramonda serbica, also known as Serbian ramonda and Serbian phoenix flower, is a species in the family Gesneriaceae. It is one of the few European representatives of this family, found in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia. It is typically found in cool, damp, shaded environments, primarily on steep, north-facing limestone foundations. The flower was discovered by Serbian botanist Josif Pančić in 1874 near Niš. It is known for its ability to be revived when watered, even when fully dehydrated, also known as a Desiccation plant. In Serbia it is used as a symbol of Armistice Day in World War. Serbia lost 1 247 435 people. From the total number of people that lived in the country at the time, Serbia lost 60% of its male population in that War.
Ramonda is a lilac flower that can die and come back to life if it is watered.

Yess I do like to listen and dance on fast songs, buttt... for the best song in the world I am looking for something that is in a package so well done that it hits me, that I can't stop listening, that I want to listen all the time..I am looking for a masterpiece...and this is it! You don''t need to understand the words, the emotion of her voice and the music is giving it!
Serbia, Italie, Greece, Croatia, Azerbajin and Lithouwen are for me the only songs that I listen all the time and don't stop in the middle of the song to switch to another one..they are mine winners, whatever the outcome will be...a lot of songs will be forgotten..this will standout and be rememberd!

First of all, before you start commenting on something: first read everything about the artist, then translate the lyrics of the song and not ask people to translate for you because the song came out a month ago. If you're already commenting, you don't interrupt the song every 10 seconds to say mostly nothing. Rather, you listen to the song at least segment by segment and say something related to what you heard, not to talk about the tenth topic. All in all, your video deserves a reaction, for someone to look into it and see if you're okay, maybe some therapy will help.. and yes, it's not a Eurosong just gyrating your hips and butt... it's nice that you like it, but not everyone has to. .

    - The song "Ramonda" by Teya takes its name from the "Ramonda serbica" flower, which is found mainly in Serbia and nearby regions. This flower, discovered by a Serbian scientist in 1884, has a remarkable ability to revive even after completely drying out, earning it the nickname "the phoenix flower." Similarly, Natalie's Ramonda, a close relative of the same genus, is known in Serbia as "Natalijina ramonda" after Queen Natalija Obrenović. It became a symbol of victory in World War I, representing Serbia's resilience after losing nearly a third of its population.
    - The song explores themes of loneliness and the resilience to bounce back from adversity, mirroring the Ramonda flower's ability to revive with just a drop of water. The official video clip includes a quote from the Gospel of John, emphasising the enduring power of light over darkness.
    - The island featured in the video represents Corfu, Greece, where Serbian soldiers found refuge during World War I after facing dire circumstances. Greece provided Serbia with essential support, although many perished upon arrival and were laid to rest at sea. This aspect of the song serves as a poignant tribute to ancestors who overcame overwhelming odds..
